  1. My local LEGO store STILL had the MM give away avialable last I checked. No decent sale items there so I'm wondering what set or combo of sets should I target for $75 without going too much over? Otherwise I'm grabbing one of the big exclusives for well over $100...

Master mind toys has a couple sets at 40%, I think the Lone Ranger Silver Mine might be interesting to some at this price : http://www.mastermindtoys.com/2014-Warehouse-Sale.aspx?_outline=Brand--b10

Mastermind Toys has begun a little random sale with a few things at 40% off: http://www.mastermindtoys.com/Clearance-Sale.aspx?_outline=Brand--b10 The set 70163, Ultra Agents Toxic Meltdown, might not be a bad deal. Note that there are no provincial taxes for Quebec residents (and probably other provinces as well, I'm not sure how spread out Mastermind Toys is).

I got this sent to me in my weekly flyers. They have a decent selection of LEGO near me (Windsor, ON) and since they haven't really had any amazing deals compared to other retailers (at least in Windsor) they have some stock left. I'm hoping to grab a couple more of these coupons in my friends' flyers, although you can also print it online, and have my wife also grab some LEGO. Last week they still had some close to EOL or 'sold out' on S&**** sets, so might be worth a look.

  9. I logged on to the master minds website today and saw from Oct 17-19 when you pay $25 and over you will get a free mini figure and chance to win some lego sets. Might not be a bad idea to check out since they also carry the exclusives and hard to find sets.

Mastermindtoys Canada's online site has a couple sets %20 off: http://www.mastermindtoys.com/Lego-1.aspx?_outline=Promo+Nodes--PNODEOUTLETWHSALE20OFF&lang=en-CA Mines of Moria $79.96 Crazy Scientist $51.96 Swamp Creature $7.96 Technic Pickup Truck $71.96 Sith Fury Class Interceptor $95.96 Bug Obliterator $79.96 Mastermind usually always has some sets on sale, but i figured i'd post the current sales as Mines and Crazy Scientist isn't bad if anyone found themselves without these during clearances and wants some.

  11. Looks like Mastermindtoys.ca is following suit with amazon and walmart in carrying the exclusives. Got and e-mail from them today advertising their availability online. None of the imminently retiring or retired sets listed on here like walmart had, but figured i'd pass it along as it's just 1 more place for us to find a deal or last minute item with drying up stock elsewhere! http://www.mastermindtoys.com/LEGO-Hard-To-Find.aspx

Hi all, here in Quebec we have maxi grocery store, i don't know for the rest of canada , but those kind of ''maxis'' are selling food, but not only. They carry toys, cloth, electronics, while 'maxis' are only for food. In those maxis and compagnie(big one), you can/will find awsome deals. You just need to check or inform you when. At mine here, I even found old atlantis set at 50%. But the regular sets like the new tie fighter will go at 45$, if did not sell after 1-2 week, you get an other 30% off, but they put a sticker -30% on it.. Last years when I found out about this, it was in feb or march, and I was late. All lego were 50%(except 4-5 sets they a…

Good deal on Lego Dimensions and Microsoft store. Just like Lego shop they have their normal packs on for 7.49 (50% off) but they also have the team packs and level packs on for $10 off which make them $14.99 / $19.99. The crazy deal is the DC team pack for $7.49 which is $17.50 off! Go go go as it keeps going out of stock, I was able to order a bunch: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msca/en_CA/pdp/LEGO-Dimensions-DC-Comics-Team-Pack/productID.333109500 2 minifigs and 2 mini builds seems like a very easy flip for profit especially with Suicide Squad movie coming out soon. Oh and don't forget to go through ******** for anot…

Just seeing this now, this is easily the biggest discount I can recall ever seeing on this set, Costco previously had it listed for $337.99 I believe. Definitely worth considering this holiday season! http://www.costco.ca/LEGO%C2%AE-%E2%80%93-Mindstorms-EV3-English.product.100057003.html

Please take a winter catalog for 2013 and turn to page 21 and go to the closest lego store and ask: can I buy this for $34.99 Then you "might" get it for $34.99 CAD Good luck

  16. I saw on their Facebook page last night and my visit this morning that they have some minifigs for sale in addition to the usual action figures. Mostly Simpsons and Series 11-14 figures were present. They said they got them in bulk from a friend and they were reasonably priced in my opinion. More common figures were $5 and the most expensive was $15 (the magician). I picked up a few to encourage this new direction (including the magician, Comic Book Guy, space miner and Egyptian soldier). Surprisingly for a comic book shop, they had no superheroes or Star Wars minifigures. They said they'd be open to buying more for resale so I may take some of my less in demand doubles t…

Ok, not the deal of the year but if you're Canadian and prefer not to buy internationally for various/whatever reason...this is cheapest so far especially since it's an Target exclusive. Always wanted one for personal collection and glad I waited for a discount. I just bought 4. Retails $49.99 and now $39 plus taxes and minus 5% red card. Cool looking set any LOTR fan would love.

No Tax weekend again at RCSS (Real Canadian Super Store) for tomorrow (and I believe Sunday). Great if you want to pick up the smaller sets that RCSS offers. Saw a couple of Captain America cycles today for 11.97 clearance at the Oakville location. Good luck!

Hey Canadian Lego fans, I was excited to see that TRU.ca is giving away the Robin polybag 30116 with a purchase over $30 (in store only) on SuperHero sets. I have to say I've had a lot of success selling the Ghost Clocks and Coffin Cars I got the last time I grabbed sets at TRU.ca (yeah, I don't shop there often...not since last Bricktober) I did a quick scan of ebay.com and can't find this set for sale. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'll try to grab a few tomorrow morning and flip them for $15-20. A guy can try, right? I haven't seen these anywhere else yet, so being the only seller might net a quick profit. I think 25 polybags per store, get'em wh…

I was at the Toronto Legoland to finally buy my personal SSD and they have 10 Orc Forges on their shelf in mint shape from what I saw. If I hadn't cleaned them out of that many 2 months ago I would have taken them. Happy hunting fellow Canucks.

Was just wondering if anybody here ships their oversized letter mail orders in boxes that meet the 2 cm rule. I only use bubble mailers at the moment, but my friend works at a company that makes custom boxes. So I'm getting him to look into pricing for me. Or does Canada post not really like boxes for letter mail? I couldn't find anything saying that it couldn't be. If I could simple fit an order into a box instead of having to nicely package everything (which I find is my biggest time consumer) so that it perfectly fits in the bubble mailer and won't shift and change the thickness, it would be so much easier and faster to package letter mail orders.

  25. http://www.redflagdeals.com/deal/financial-services/paypal-get-5-cash-back-on-purchases-from-november-24-through-december-2/ I'm not sure if it works on eBay purchases as well, it popped up when loading the TRU Canada site this morning. ** Edit.. looks like it includes eBay, Future Shop, Best Buy, Indigo, Hudson's Bay, TRU, Cineplex and a few more. It also appears your fist purchase is NOT eligible for the cash back, so make it a small one. **
