The TRU flyer for the week April 17-23 announces 40% off on select Lego sets (the image shows Chima 70145 and 70146), as well as 23% off the set 70813 Rescue Reinforcements (price was apparently raised by $10 over MSRP). If only CineplexHoliday was still among us...

Nothing really amazing...some sets are 25% off, good for personal collection/gifts if you need it soon. For some reason I like the garbage truck haha. Trying to find/use some promo codes to make the deal sweeter...if successful I'll post the promo code used. Looks like free shipping too if you spend $99, I usually just pick up at store but might risk it and have it delivered. Buying for personal use/gifts...box condition doesn't really matter unless it's destroyed. *decided to just have it shipped to my local Sears store **used promo code 941612764 to get $15 off...guess there's a purchase limit you have to meet. It isn't the greatest deal in the world, but at the store I went to in downtown Toronto (First Canadian Place), they still had a bunch of Simpsons mini-figure packs left. Just placed an order this morning for 2 GE's while it was still in stock on both TRU.ca and TRU Canada ebay and just got a cancellation e-mail saying there were none in stock. Sure enough TRU.ca and ebay lists it as OOS now. Have 3 myself, but was looking for a couple more, oh well. Certainly a good sign! I know some of you have some GE's from TRU that were thinking of returning, don't do it!

Looks like Walmart in Mississauga Ontario has some deals, ie. LOTR Pirate Ship Ambush for $80 and a couple of smaller superman/batman sets at 20%-30% off. Wish this was in my hood!

I have two superstores here in Regina and I purchased 5 Geonosian cannons, 2 endor battle packs, a desert skiff and a clone/commando battle pack for 75% off. It was like 6.22 cdn for the cannon!!!! I thought they were 50% off at first then it took another 50% off at the till cause of the pink tickets on them (which came off with no problems!!!) This was at my east store and have yet to see them go on sale at the north store. They have way more lego at the north store so i hope they put it on clearance soon. Im wasting to much gas . It's not advertised on LEGO Shop at Home but the local Edmonton B&M have Unimogs discounted to $200 from $250. Maybe this deal extends to other Canadian locations so worth checking out.

I've been to GTA Lego stores a couple times in the past week and kept hearing that what little of these sets they get are gone immediately. My son and I were at the Legoland in Vaughan on the weekend and they had a large end full of these sets. Now it seems that this place has fallen in line with Lego's policies on exclusives and high priced items as there were no discounts (members usually get 10% off everything in store). However the Lego VIP program (which does not apply at Legoland as it is run under license from Lego) only gets you 5% off so if you don't care about a few bucks and want one this is the place to go.
