I purchased a Sopwith from amazon on 2/21/14 and the box was beat up but I was going to build it so opened it up and all of the dark green studded elements had white dots on them. They sent me a replacement and I built it this weekend but it had the same issue I tried to cover the white dots the best I could. I have a chance to buy a Grand Carousel (10196) for $500. It's still factory sealed, but the box has some slight damage. Should I go for it?

Should I assemble my Green Grocer? What a dilemma. I bought it long ago, along with other smaller LEGO sets that we put together first. By the time we got around to it, it seemed to be too valuable to open. Now its worth $700 NIB. I know there has been a lot of speculation lately about 10211 possibly being retired after it has shown up sold out on LEGO Shop at Home and some other sites. For what it's worth I was just on the phone with LEGO Shop at Home ordering some train tracks and I asked the Lego sales associate if they were getting in more GE's and he told me that yes they would be getting in another shipment before the holidays (he did not know exact date) and it was not getting retired anytime soon to his knowledge. What are your thoughts on this little set? I didn't bother to buy any when on sale at S/**** and it appears these are now EOL based on being sold out at S/****, walmart, target, amazon, and being incredibly difficult to find at TRU. Good or mediocre potential?

Looks like the leaks for last years modular didn't happen until december 11th last year. So I suppose it will be a little more than a month from now before we see anything about the Natural History Museum (if that's true).

Im looking for Ideas for my next MOC Modular Building, i want to build something that is fun and interesting, but i dont want to put all that time and money into it and then have Lego release a similar type of build. Was just a little tired from work so I thought I'd take a break and build the hot dog stand. Though imo the hot dog guy is way overdressed. lol. To Lego: Now we need a Khlav Khalash stand and a Chicken over Rice stand and we're all set :D

It seems like there's a large variance in dark blue and dark red, I have even noticed it in the light blue of the Pet Shop. Why is this?
