FYI ... for those of you interested, according to VideoETA.com, the LEGO movie should be out on BluRay/DVD this June, which I consider to be quite short turnaround, but am looking forward to getting it.

If the title isn't clear here it is; basically I hope to pull an all-nighter (or as long as is necessary) to be one of the first to place an order to take advantage of the Martian Manhunter Minifigure promotion. For those of you who need the details, here they are; LEGO - March 2014 Calendar. I will try and be active on my laptop in the hours leading up to it on multiple places. 1. Here. If you just want to hit me up here and talk here on Brickpicker, or PM me here then that's cool. But I will more likely be checking out my social networks, and not Brickpicker. 2. My Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/PieceOutStudios. Shoot me a message, and like if you w…

I just checked LEGO Shop at Home Spain and found that Lego will draw a winner for a trip to their factory in Billund! Here are the details that I found and the rules. Since I'm a VIP, I've been automatically entered in the contest: You've been entered for a chance to win a totally unique LEGO

Hi, everyone! I have a lot of loose bricks (for us to build with). I try to keep them sorted, usually by type and colour. The problem with that is that it may not be practical and can slow down building times. For example: We have a big 30litre tub of white/pink/purple bricks (actual bricks, not plates or tiles or slopes). Looking for a 1x3 in there can sometimes take a while. My novel idea is to have a multi-container method with 4 colours and 4 brick sizes in 4 smaller tubs, but not quite the way you would expect. e.***. In tub 1: 1x1 white, 1x2 pink, 1x3 dark pink, 1x4 purple. In tub 2: 1x2 white, 1x3 pink, 1x4 dark pink, 1x1 purple. …

If anyone is in the market for a 128gb 4th Gen iPad with 4G, these guys are selling them for $599. I guess these are usually $800-$900.

I imagine we have some computer guys here that can help me. My pc is no longer picking up any wifi signals. I turned my computer on this morning before work and everything was working fine. Just got home and I have no connection. My wifi dongle which is just connected via usb isn't picking up any signals at all. Along with my wifi connection, there is usually a couple of other ones my adapter picks up. I looked at my device manager and my adapter is registering at "unknown device" with zero drivers. I am typing this on my laptop and all my tablets are able to connect to my wifi. Is it possible my adapter crapped out on my? How should I troubleshoot this?

Hello, Got this box in a recent tru order that arrived mostly destroyed. 2 9398's one busted up pretty good, 1 funhouse that looked like someone chopped it in half with a machete, 1 batwing (should have been another funhouse) with a huge whole in the box. Saw this and initially thought they sent a 42009 but then pulled back the top and it was a 9398. Any opinions on value for this or lack of value? Sorry that pics are upside down... Thanks!

Obviously brickpicker is the best LEGO website around, but what are your other "must read" websites for news, deals, etc? I like toysnbricks.com and thebrickblogger.com for lego news and sales. I like brickshow.tv for video reviews. What websites do you recommend?

Taking the family for a weekend in London on the 10th May and me and my son are swinging by the Lego show at the O2 Arena when the girls go shopping. Shame a ticket only gets you a 3hr slot for the show but me and the boy are going to make the most of it. Anyone else going??? Cheers.

I came across one of the most amusing articles ever from the Business Insider of Australia. They basically ran a poll using a certain number of Americans and asked how each felt about the other states. The darkest color had the highest number of votes while the whitest color had next to none. Winner: Massachusetts, 264 of 1603 votes, 16% Winner: New York, 305 of 1603 votes, 19% Winner: Alaska, 85 of 1603 votes, 5% Winner: California, (stats unknown) Winner: Texas, 167 of 1581 votes, 11% Winner: California, 403 of 1581 votes, 25% Winner: California, 713 of 1411 votes, 51% Winner: Alabama, 113 of 1442 votes, 9% Winner: Colorad…

Harvard Business Review Press just published a book (newly listed on Amazon Feb 11th, 2014), written by two consulting executives of Red Associates, who work with Fortune 100 corporations to improve their decision making processes and their understanding of their customer base. One of the companies they consulted with was TLG. The wording is a little vague, but I think the book includes a case study of their time working with TLG. The following is an excerpt from Amazon: Through compelling case studies and their direct experience with LEGO, Samsung, Adidas, Coloplast, and Intel, Madsbjerg and Rasmussen will show you how to solve problems as diverse as …
