Hello all I just wanted to write a quick post and introduce myself. My name is Ægir, born and raised in Iceland but currently living in Norway and Spain but mostly Spain. Like all of us, I used to play around with Lego all my childhood but then I lost contact with it as I grew up. I´m was very much a comic book geek as well but that faded out later. Now that I am 37 years old I want to reconnect with some of my interests that I had when I was younger. When it comes to Lego it will be in a different form and mostly for investing purposes. I am not looking for a quick buck and will be investing for long-term gains and will take my time to get to know how this all works…

Hi; Confused, overwhelmed, but determined mom to sell off complete, like new used collection of Lego's, 96 sets,1986-1997,all have instructions, 22 with box's, nothing missing in any. Not knowing where to start, someone sent me here but site confuses me on how to sell [????]. Have a basement full of very good toys, some are antique, need to down size as want to move. Any advice appreciated!! Pleases don't suggest yard sale ,as they are VERY good Lego's & Craiglist scares me. Thanks.

Hey all, Introducing myself as is the custom. So I'm basically wanting to start buying bulk loads of LEGO, sorting through them, cleaning them up and selling the individual sets. I really enjoy sorting and (duh) building so it'll be fun, will hopefully give me a little bit of profit and I wont have tons of LEGO spilling out of every inch of my house (Well, i probably will but its not for me to keep, I will tell my wife). Also i want to buy some new sets and break them down - sell the minifigures and the actual build seperately. Maybe start up a bricklink store - who knows. Looking forward to it! Mike

Good day all I've been signed up to brickpicker now for 3-4 weeks. Done plenty of reading/research and even made a few posts, but thought it was time I introduced myself. Got back into Lego at the end of last year when I was buying some minecraft sets for my boy. Saw some of the Old Republic Star Wars sets and thought I'm going to spoil myself and buy a few to build and enjoy. Then I started to look at other sets online and started to research lego investing. The information on here is great, and has helped guide me during my first few months of "investing". I'm only ever going to be a small scale investor, with the hope of starting to make alittle money in…

I'm just stopping by to look around to try to dissolve my Lego Bionicle Collection from 2001-2010, almost complete and in neat, tidy and very good condition kept. I have collected them each with their combiner alternative builds, tried to complete their particular Mask collections and even aquired all those special editions, limited editions and accessory tubs. I try to find out what they are worth now, so that I can either trade or sell this. Or I would like to spend the money to buy new Lego Sets which I try now to collect in an extensive Minifigurine collection for/with my little boy. So please be patient with me, I am not really an extraodinary Lego-Fan…

My name is Roland and I have a Lego problem! Well, if you ask my wife anyways. I have never considered investing in Lego sets before recently but at 42 I still buy them for myself (and sometimes my kids). My sets are mainly Star Wars. My 7 yo son like pretty much everything so he gets everything but the Star Wars. Of course, his sets are in pieces but that's what 7 year old's are supposed to do. I keep my sets assembled on display in his room so he get's to enjoy them anyways (I said enjoy, not touch!). And who am I kidding, they will be his (and his 4 yo sister's) one day anyways. The 40 or so sets and growing in "our" collection is not something I have even …

Thought I'd introduce myself. I've been lurking on the website and forum for a couple years now. As a kid, I inherited loads of Classic Space sets from my brother and added some of my own before progressing to Technic sets until 1990. I entered my dark ages for a decade until I picked up a couple of the first Star Wars sets in 1999. After that everything became about cars, houses, weddings and finally children. After being sent away from home for a couple of weeks for work about five years ago, I was staying almost next door to a TRU. Had a few beers, got bored and ended up buying 3221 the big yellow LEGO truck. It snow balled from there really. Every trip away I'd pick u…

Hello there! Just came across this site and how awesome it is! I've been using Brickset all this time but this site certainly has some fascinating analytics! I have imported my Brickset data but am wondering if the two sites will sync with each other or if I have to constantly maintain both DB's? I've tried looking this up in the various FAQ's but that ended up just being a time sync. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi guys :-) just joined the site-mainly collect Star Wars Lego with my son-we got back into Lego 3 months ago after finding 5 or 6 old Star Wars sets in storage we had long forgotten about! We've added nearly 30 more sets since then and have definitely been bitten by the Lego bug :-)

Hi, I'm Lane, I'm 41, and from Jacksonville, FL. I'm pretty new to Lego building. I never got into it as a kid. A couple years ago I helped a friend's son put together a small Star Wars set we got him and enjoyed it. I saw one of the previous Slave I models shortly before it was discontinued and thought it was cool. I looked for it a few times online after that and was surprised how expensive they were. In January after debating the new Slave I set for weeks, I finally pulled the trigger. That was my first real, start to finish Lego build. Since then I've built the new Millenium Falcon and the Imperial Shuttle from Star Wars, I'm in the middle of the VW bus, whi…

Hello, I just thought I would take a quick minute to introduce myself. My name is James, I currently live in HI and just recently got back into Lego's after many years removed from my youth. My spark was reignited when I starting buying Duplo sets for my now 3 year old daughter. It started in November when I bought both the Holiday Toy Shop and Santa's Work Shop. I really enjoyed putting those two sets together and felt a void when I packed them away until next Christmas. I then went out and bought a couple of the Creator 3 in 1 sets and put those together and set them on a shelf. My wife was not happy that I put those "Mini Modulars" in front of some pictures a…

I can't find another place to ask this/post this so I figured this is the best spot for it. (Seeing how I'm still new) I started collecting SW sets about a year and a half ago. Have a few UCS and some sets I've liked as a kid ranging from 2003-present. Seeing how I filled 3 6 foot shelves in a matter of 3 weeks I decided to be a lot more picky with the sets I buy. It's come to a point (which I'm sure most of you went through) that I want more than just SW so on the flip side I'm also a big fan of almost everything Marvel. So now looking at grabbing some sets from those series as well (May also start buying the CMF sets) so knowing that now about me my question is a mix co…

My name is Eddie Mack. I'm one of the co-creators of BrickPicker.com. I have been a fan and collector of Legos for 35+ years. I have a very understanding wife who lets me store my hundreds of Lego sets in our family room and a crazy son who likes to destroy every Lego model I try to display. I hope you find this site useful and please feel free to ask questions or give my brother and I new ideas on how to improve the site. Thanks and welcome to BrickPicker...

Hi, found this site a few weeks ago after reading some story about how it's easy to make money with Legos. I've never really played with them, I actually think they're stupid, but if I can make some extra money from them it doesn't matter what I think. My name is Mike, but my friends call me Zod cause I look like Terence Stamp in Superman II. Some of my favorite movies are anything Star Trek, 12 Monkeys, and Stargate. TV shows I like are The Following, Ghost Hunters and How I Met Your Mother. Favorite group is Big Tymers - they're from New Orleans! Enough about me, my question is what should I buy? Like I said, I don't like Legos so they're all the same to me. Is…
