Let everyone know when you find a great LEGO sales on Amazon.com

  1. Quick link. Amazon is on this kick of offering $30 sets for around $24. Not that I'm complaining, course it would be great if it was $8-$10 off.

So I was looking at Amazon today and checking out the personalized deals for me underl the Gold Box Section, and there were quite a few Legos I'd been recently browsing through w/some decent discounts, but I'm wondering which is best: Jabba's Palace - 30% off---decent deal but it's been this low before and relatively new Winter Village Cottage - 5% off---not as good %-wise, but a ton more pieces for the price and looks nice City Forest Police Station - 30% off ---seems like a good deal, but it is a police station Vampyre's Castle--only 8% off---I know it's EOL soon, but too bad it wasn't a greater % as even after that discount it'd be the highest I would pay for any…

  3. Quick link. Not too spectacular of a discount. Being a City set and yet another fire station probably means that it will go down even further in the future. I mean, look at the older Police Station from 2011. Still around and being offered at a $30 and some odd amount discount and that's been a while. A deal's a deal, anyhow.

It's amazing how low the prices Amazon has these listed for and consistently I might add. This topic will serve as a 'sticky noted' quick access to every one of them. 6. Is anyone else having this issue? I put a few into the shopping cart and keeps coming up saying there is a limitation of 1 per order. Haven't had the issue before, and it doesn't come up when you actually place it in the cart, only when you start the checkout process.

  7. Quick link. It may not be that spectactular of a Creator home, but it is a great and cheap source for a lot of brown parts perfect for building other houses like, I don't know, modular style housing. With 355 pieces at the current discount, this set has a ratio of $0.06 a piece!

Hey, hopefully someone could help me. A Lego log cabin came in the mail today; however, I've never had a package damaged as badly as this from amazon. Despite the perfect packaging (best I've ever gotten from amazon), they shipped me an item with a hole it the middle of the box! I don't want to return it since I wanted to keep one to build. How do I go around getting a partial refund?

Some may be aware of this but Amazon will sometimes list Lego sets as "used" if the box has been damaged in the warehouse. These don't seem to last long and are limited in quantity but I have found some good deals. Jabbas Palace for 75.00 Helm's Deep for 94.00 Hulk's Breakout 39.00 (not as good a deal as the others but still nice) The boxes come somewhat damaged but the sets are complete and otherwise new. There is free shipping since they are still being sold by Amazon but due to the box damage Amazon will not list them as new. With Jabbas Palace and Hulk's Breakout I will simply part out the set, selling the minifigures on Amazon and the sets with no minifigur…

  22. You can purchase the Vampyre Castle (9468) for $86.63 including shipping to the U.S. Amazon UK Vampyre Castle - 9468 for $86.63 shipped It is not a bad price, but not great. The main risk is damage to the box as I don't think you get free returns to Amazon.co.uk from the U.S. I've ordered from Amazon UK about 12 times and had slighlty damaged boxes twice, but not enough damage to make me return them, so I'm not sure how that would work out.

I am new to Lego investing, so in hopes of trying to keep up on the Amazon prices without wasting every hour of every day, I set out to look for something that could track prices and notify me when it/they dropped below a certain threshold. I didn't see anything on Amazon that could do something like this, but I did find a third party website called "TheTracktor" that could help with this. You pick out the Amazon set(s) you want to track, set a price level, and wait for an e-mail notification that the price has dropped on your item. http://www.thetracktor.com So far, the site has worked well. It's bare-bones and doesn't do much besides its intended purpose, bu…
