I just wanted to share an idea with adding pull out drawers with stack on's on them to my current storage shelves. Before I made the shelf unit I could only fit 2 stack on's per shelf now I I can do 4. It cost me $17 for the 2 sets of full extension drawer guides and all the lumber I had in my garage. I took a few hours over a couple days to build. Next time I build them I will make the base a little bit more narrow.

I need an advice. Anybody been in the situation when Ontrac site shows "delivered" status but package is not actually delivered? The time they show there is about 5.30 pm, I was home that time and later, so that's a bull... I filed the report on yoyo.com and received a response, just as usual "check with family members" blah blah. I double checked all my yard and the shipping address on yoyo of course. I'll keep talking to them, but I'm not too optimistic about it to be honest. Well, I didn't lose much, just about $40 order. So. Any similar stories with yoyo? I'll post if any updates on my story.

I currently a looking to sell many of my lego sets. I do not have the boxes yet I do have the majority of many old star wars sets and some newer marvel/dc superhero sets, some identified, others not. I know for sure I have a y-wing ship that has the anakin skywalker and r2d2 minifies and some sort of droid ship. At Shopko.com they are currently running a BOGO 50% sale. Use coupon code addcolor10 to get an additional 10.00 off your order. While their selection is limited and they don't allow you to double up on some sets they do have some of the newer sets at msrp or a bit lower. It is advertised on the website that a person gets free shipping on orders above 75.00 but through the website I haven't gotten it to work and haven't called them yet to see what the deal is with that. Happy December! It's that happy time of year when desperate parents pay ridiculous prices because they waited to buy that Lego set that sold out. I thought it would be good to start a thread where we can track what sets are spiking so that if you need to cash out on a few sets, you can make the best decisions. So far, I've sold my 4204 The Mine sets that I picked up on the $40 Walmart pricing error. They went for ~$140 apiece. At retail price, not the best profit, but I only bought them to flip quickly so I was happy with that one. The 9455 Ninjago Fangpyre Mech is trading at around $35. I can't seem to buy lego on SAH with my paypal balance... Does anyone know why/how I can? Just trying to set my lego buying and selling apart from our personal checking account...so as to minimize discussions about my "habit" without opening another bank account.

ugh.... buyer purchased polybag from me... I shipped first class postage in envelope taped the heck out of it with packing tape.... buyer says: "Post office received the item damaged. The package is tore open through the envelop. I have pictures fom as soon as it arrived. Hi guys I'm a big fan of Lego Pirates. I own some of the original classic pirates sets and the newer models. I managed to pick up some of the potc sets like the QAR and Whitecap bay but sadly missed out on the Black Pearl. I'm really eager to pick this set up but its so expensive in the after market right now. Is anyone on here looking to sell there's or know some one or somewhere that isn't selling it for a ludicrous price. Thanks. Hello everyone, I recently have decided to start purchasing bulk minifigures off of Craigslist. Being a novice LEGO enthusiast, I'm having a problem identifying the minifigures I am purchasing. For instance, I bought around 20 minifigures from someone and from doing a little bit of research, I can tell they are from the early 90's. My problem is that this person has switched the legs, torso's, heads, etc on these figures multiple times and I have no idea what parts go with what figures. Any suggestions on figuring it out? Has anyone been successful combining Toys R Us egift cards lately? I have been able to do it via their website previously but it is not working today. I recall someone had some some problems after cardcash had a bunch of TRU cards available 9-10 days ago. I would rather not do it in store but if they have removed the ability to do it online I guess in store it must be.

I was just wondering at what point do you think a set is discounted enough to buy? I recently bought the "Escape from Mirkwood Spiders" at a 20% discount and it dropped another 10% the following week. I wanted the "Attack of the Wargs" but didn't buy it at a 20% discount because I was waiting for a 30% drop. It never came and is now back to the regular price. :(

I have a fellow investor that has had a bit of a hard time and needs to unload his collection. Is CL the best place. Ebay is no go because he needs the money soon. i am buying a bit from him today. Hey all. I am looking to buy some elements, mainly technic, for some mocs I am planning on creating. I am looking for power functions, pneumatic, wheels, tires, actuators, suspension, etc. Who are some of your go-to sellers for lego elements at a fair price and on what websites are they located?

Does anyone have any good experience or advice on this? I really want to start selling worldwide, but it seems that eBay will not protect the seller if the item can not be tracked with a delivery confirmation. eBay offers USPS services but I'm not sure that you are protected with their services.
