I just saw this on brickset.com and it seems pretty straight forward. Trade4cash will buy your new or used lego by the pound or piece. So it stands to reason that if you've bought some sets that wont return much via ebay or bricklink you could sell them here by the lb. Take for instance the recent "free" galaxy squad sets at TRU. The space swarmer was available for about $4 and weighs approximately .64 lbs. Short of bricklinking these sets it's not likely to return much. So I have sold my fourth item internationally this month and had to cancel the transaction b/c I do not ship internationally. It's time I start. However, I do not want to spend 20 mins filling out customs forms for each item. I know ebay offers a Global shipping program but I would like to hear from those who have used it. PLEASE!! I know the global shipping program (GSP) is only offered to some countries, do the items only display in those countries? How easy is it really? I am new to selling lego from Canada and was wonder how other Canadian Brickpickers do it. For things like polybags i'm using the bubble wrap envelopes and canada post. It's larger items that I worry about. Who do you use to ship larger items? How do you package the product? Where do you source the boxes? Thanks for any and all help.

Two quick questions that I'm hoping someone could give their opinion on. I've purchased a set off of Amazon Warehouse that I intend to resell (usually I use warehouse for my own builds). For once, this set shows no sign of having popped seals (just a very very damaged box). The box has a large sticker on it saying that it was "Amazon Warehouse Inspected". Anyone know if that means I can assume it was opened up? Second question, since I'll probably open this box up to verify the bags inside are all there, how would you mark this if listing it? I have a sealed case of Series 3 CMFs I've been trying to sell with no luck. If I even do sell it, after fees and tracked, insured shipping (at least $40 from canada to the U.S), my profit is going to be less than I hoped for. Would I be better to crack it open and sell them individually or as sets of 16? How many sets of 16 could I expect to get out of a case? 2? 3? My buy-in price was about $200 CAD, including tax and shipping.

Dear Brickpickers! We have stumbled upon a collection of Star Wars minifigures which we would like to resell. Well the catch is: the minifigures are in real great condition. No scratches, all shiny and not a sign of dust or stains. The question is: how does one determine whether a minifigure is to be listed as new. I know, this might be the dumbest question you've read all day. Do LEGO vendors actually list these minifigures as new items based on the looks of the item rather than the freshness? So I just got into Lego as a hobby. I bought a 7965 MF factory sealed for $99 at my local WM. I noticed it's selling for upwards of $200 on eBay. I know you guys don't want to give away your trade secrets but I'd appreciate a little coaching on how to go about selling. Also talk me down off the cliff if you think i should hold the MF. I have experience selling various odds and ends on eBay. My plan would be to take the money i made and reinvest and rinse and repeat. :)

Hello, digging for more information to reaffirm and add a little to what I saw in an older thread. So I bought a used Grand Emporium from a guy today and the thing was covered in a couple years worth of dust and dirt. No instructions or box. It was completely built though and I compared it to mine and the thing appeared 100% complete. I wanted to clean it so I submerged it in water and started pulling the bricks apart. It was way easier in my head to pull the whole set apart than reality, lol. I got tired of trying to pull apart every little piece so I now I have a mess of top two floors looking like a bomb exploded with the base level sort of there and intact. For …

Wondering if anyone has used these before. http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-7907-2BP-Packing-Noodles/dp/B000GLS29E Conventional peanuts worked out well for me for packing items before the holidays. I've just about used up my stash and am looking at these as well as bubble wrap. The good thing about these noodles is they come in a brick form (now i've got your attention) as opposed to regular peanuts which have to be bagged up etc. FYI: For bubble wrap I haven't found anything cheaper than Sams Club. (which comes out to $.06/LF for a 12" wide roll) in store price.

So Galarco has been mentioned on here before, their Amazon inventory is insane, does anyone know anything about them? Do they have a real store? Their are basically on a Quidsi level in terms of many of their product stock levels. I remember they had a crazy amount of SW advent calendars. They have 320 Millennium falcons on FBA among other things. Seeing as the FBA oversize limit is 500 items, I imagine they have some sort of relationship with Amazon. 320 millennium falcons isn't easy for an individual to come across, Just wondering if they are affiliated with a bigger company.

I was expecting to be super busy selling things this season. I ordered all of my shipping supplies in advance, organized my inventory, posted it and have been waiting. The sales have been much slower than anticipated. I think it's likely due to what I'm listing but perhaps its how I'm listing, or simply that things will pick up this week. I left a small padded envelope for my mailman to pickup this past Wednesday. I just checked the tracking number and it only shows "shipping label created". Doesn't show any progress or that it was even picked up. Should I just assume that it just was never scanned? Maybe usps is too busy this time of year?

Do most use Priority as it seems almost the same if not a little cheaper when shipping ? Small items excluded. I'm shipping a Cloud Cookoo and Priority is cheaper than Parcel Post. Thanks

I'm aware that a lot of us have received battered boxes, missing parts or nothing at all. But... Has anyone ever got lucky and been positively blown away by what was sent to them? I ordered 5x 60014 Coast Guard Patrols from Amazon France and they sent me 5x 10226 Sopwith Camels instead! I don't want to complain as the British hate complaining but, the guy that ordered the Sopwith Camels might have done. I received the order a couple of months ago and only opened the sealed shipping box just now to organise my stock. This just never happens to me so I'll probably get run over by a bus tomorrow.

Hi, For the Ebay veterans, I saw a "buy now" for a nice NISB Lego set (still in production - not retired) at significant discount off MSRP. The problem is that the seller is in Asia, just joined Ebay a few months ago, and has only a few feedback. His feedback consists of people who have supposedly bought the Lego sets with no problem. I looked around and I don't think the chinese has made the fake on this set yet. am I setting myself up for a scam? Supposedly ebay/paypal favors the buyer if something goes wrong, right? Am I seeing risks that are not there, or rightfully concerned? your thoughts are appreciated.

As the holiday season overwhelms us with it's buying frenzy it brings with it selling season. I watch day in and day out as we buy and sell like brokers at the brick exchange. I gorge myself on holiday deals bat caves, Mixels and hunting down rare missed or returned sets. Then comes the thrilling part selling it. I watch my iPhone like a blue haired retiree from Boca Raton in Vegas, waiting for the cha-Ching. Hi guys, I wanted to ask for your opinion on a claim one of my eBay buyers is making. I am a newer seller so I don't have a lot of experience with problematic sales. I got a message from them this morning asking when the item would arrive. I replied with a link to the tracking, showing it had been delivered on Saturday. They then replied with this message: I just received the package today in the mail along with a letter from the post office, seems the lego got damaged during shipping. The package is empty and I believe they sent the damaged item back to you so you should be receiving it sometime this week. I don't know what that means for me. Do I get a refund sinc…

I'm going to be selling some incomplete sets soon where I took out the minifigs. What's the best practice in packing and shipping these to a buyer? Could I just throw the original bags into a padded mailer or a small box and be done with it? Thanks for any advice.
