I have a Lego set that was distributed to certain employees of a company 5 or so years ago. I own one, and am aware of one other set. I have looked it up and there are no photos or pictures of it online. Has anyone seen this Lego set before? On the side, it reads that it is a Lego Certified Professional set by Adam Reed Tucker. On the front, the set number is '3333'. The set also has quite a few custom printed bricks officially from lego. Would this set be worth anything? I can send photos if it would help. Thank you, C

Hi all, I am owning all Town City themes from 2004 onwards except of Fire and Police sets, from these both themes I have only few. Nevertheless there are still around 300 sets and several repeated themes like (City Guards 3 times, Airplane 4 times etc...) What would be the best option to build a large LEGO city display in your opinion? Should I include only one of the repeated themes and exchange it after a while or would you include them all at one time into display? It would be difficult for me to decide for one theme and sell all the other related without using them (at least temporarily) in my display. (By the way I am not sure how much place do I …

I was wondering how to handle a shipment from eBay. I have not experienced this before. I get this message after he payed for a lot of 3 of the same items. The first request I can do but i'm not sure if i'm reading the 2nd one correctly. "Thank you for your accepting my offer. I would like to ask you two things mentioned below when you make shipment of the item. 1. I would like to receive the items as beautiful as it can be. Please pack the items firmly so that it does not hurt. 2. I let you know the postal code of the receiver as 34249, but it seems that some delivery agency cannot register this number as postal code. In such case, please make shipment with the alt…

Hello! Each Christmas my wife and I participate in the "Angel Tree" project by buying gifts for children whose parents are in prison. This year I immediately focused on one for a 14 year-old male who desires LEGO. The gift has to be valued at $25-$30. So I need to fight my desire to use Kmart Voodoo and get a $60 set since the goal is that all children (when there are multiple in a family) feel like they are being treated equally. With that said, I'm not 100% sure I know what a 14 year-old male would be interested in. I feel like that is too old for Ninjago. Am I wrong? Was leaning towards Super Heroes or maybe Star Wars. The price range has me look…

  6. Hey guys, I picked up a really nice used 10024 Red Baron set for a great price, but as you can imagine most of the decals are starting to flake off. What is the best method to remove them completely from the bricks without leaving residue, scratching the plastic or causing discoloration? I'd like to put some replacement decals on and display this piece next to my Sopwith Camel sets. Thanks.

I have 5 or 6 SW FA and RO sets that are unopened that I want to return. I bought a few from Amazon, 1 from Barnes and Noble, and 1 from somewhere else I can't remember. I know that I can't return them to Amazon anymore but I thought about trying to return them to Target and just get store credit. Not sure if this acceptable, it almost seems like borderline fraud, something I am against. I am not even sure Target will take them. Any thoughts or other suggestions? I just don't have room for all these sets and have no interest in the investment side of the house, I am just a builder. Thank you in advance.

  8. Am I missing something obvious, I used to be able to check if my local Lego Store has a set in stock but just in the last few days, I am no longer able to do this... I've checked on multiple computers and my phone and still can't find the option to do it? Is this new or just me?

I see that some ebay sellers are offering authentic Lego minifigures for the upcoming Mystery Mobile/Scooby Doo. Does anyone know how these sellers are getting these months ahead of "official" release date slated for August 2015? Vilma, Shaggy, Scooby, and Daphne are available. How is this possible? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-2015-REAL-Lego-Scooby-Doo-Velma-Minifigure-Minifig-75904-Mystery-Set-Vilma-/271874542267?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f4cfc4abb

Does anyone know how many Deadpool Duck and Vixen mini-figures were handed out at SDCC? I ended up forking over the dough I earned through credit card rewards points to get Deadpool Duck and Vixen (almost as cheap to buy both from the seller I found vs other Ebay prices for Deadpool Duck alone). I am assuming they did not make many and this will not be released in a set. As a fan I am happy to have Deadpool Duck but the price was way higher than I would normally pay. This is my first foray into SDCC. I did buy the NYCC Batgirl Mini Doll but that was much more affordable being around 20 bucks.

Has any international buyers purchased large Lego sets from Selfridges? Just curious about their packaging methods. I'm in the USA.

  13. Hi all, I joined this site in 2013 but have not logged in for many moons. I have a substantial collection of Lego City items from approximately 2006-2009... The flagship sets I have are 7945 Fire Station, 7744 Police Headquarters, 7993 Service Station, along with various supplementary sets. They are in good condition but used. I played with these toys as a kid, they didn't just sit on a shelf. It's time to clear out some of this stuff, I am planning to sell them on eBay. What I am wondering is, should I sell everything individually or as a lot? Appreciate any advice...

  14. This is really just a general question, but if I wanted to sell of, say 100 sets, to free up some capital and space, do I list it all on CL, here, or where? I want to move some money elsewhere and refine my collection to things I want more. I want to sell this as one lot, not separate pieces. Thank you

  15. Hi all... I was thinking about selling some pieces from my personal collection and was wondering how one goes about pricing items? I'm not talking sets... I create small displays, film logos, star wars signs... all sorts. Would I price these on a per piece basis with a bit of time on top? Or what is anyone experience with this? If any sets are involved they tend to be to add to the pieces I'm making... All of my signs and logos come with bespoke stands and I only make one of everything... any advice appreciated. Sorry if this is on the wrong place...

Hi new here - just joined today I have, what I consider to be, a large collection of Lego. It is all currently separated by brick type and few other bits of sorting. I have many instruction books but no original boxes. The big ticket items are the city airport with two planes and runways. I estimate approximately 30 models in total. My question is it better to build each model and try to sell them separately, join a few similar models together and try to sell as a package, or sell the whole lot as a job lot (loose)? I’d welcome your views Thanks

So today I was able to sell a Lego Carousel 10196 for $1300. Not bad at all. The problem is I don't like to ship outside the U.S, id have to ship to Hong Kong. To avoid shipping problems, but then again I only had 1 bid on my auction. So I'm afraid if I relist, I'll get less then $1300. Does anybody use Usps to ship prize the U.S. Or have stories that my put me at ease, thanks. Btw, I clearly stated in my auction that I dont ship internationally.

I've recently not been able to purchase through Legos online shop store. After speaking with them and verifying my account was all fine. The review team sent a email stating my address is not a home address but a freight forwarding service which they do not ship too. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and is there a way to fix it without moving to a whole different home lol... So far Lego hasn't helped in solving issue and I only just started buying Lego which was about $200 worth.

I've been holding onto my Imperial Flagship 10210 I knew it would increase in value due to its early and unexpected discontinuation. I said Ill keep it for a few years see if it gets to $1000 idk if it well but it looks likely. Is it worth selling and getting a used one because I seriously do want the set I think it looks brilliant. Im going to keep it sealed till at least christmas of this year. But it just doesn't fell right leaving it alone. Box is in good condition as shown in the photo above

Hi all, Is there a recommended source for "replica" stickers of Lego sets that are no longer available or too expensive to purchase on BL or similar? Mainly asking about older sets and UCS stickers. There are just so many out there that i was wondering if there is a reputable site/provider that you all can recommend. Thanks!

Hi everyone, first time posting on here. Ordered a Slave 1 via Lego online and it was a bit damaged on arrival so sent it back for an exchange. The second one arrived in the post yesterday and there was a thumbnail sized bash in the corner. Was planning to keep the set unopened. Do you think a minor bash like this will affect the value or am I being a bit over the top with my concern. Have been in touch with Lego again and they have offered another swap, but am wondering if I'll just end up with another slightly bashed box and get stuck in a never ending cycle of returns. I've attached a picture so you can see.
