Really Non LEGO Stuff

Well, I picked up a CL lot today from RI. Digging through I found this. The canopy to a 2008 Hasbro Legacy Falcon. Worth at least $40 shipped on Ebay. I'll take it. I also found an antenna for a 2011 Talking / Sound f/x Boba Fett Helmet. Now I have a complete working helmet to sell near Halloween.

Ok so my question is simple but not simple. So 10188 has 3800+ peices in its set as printed on box. What i wanna know is how many of the little "dots"(and i use this term cause idk what theyre called but im sure they have a name) that connect legos to each other does that consist of? And i dont expect anyone to sit there and count them so some mathamatical expertise would be helpful with all the ratios and estimates and cool math stuff that would go into figuring that out. The rest is up to you.....

Not sure how to feel about this... Let's discuss how this is a FAIL or a WIN? Does it affect the LEGO secondary markets? Would people rather work a job than part LEGO sets out or flip small sets considering the fact that parting out LEGO sets usually equates to a minimum wage job?

So, since starting a little modest investing in Lego, it's been hard to escape the Star Wars theme. However, I've never really been into Sci-Fi so have never ever sat down to watch any of the films/movies properly. I now feel that to understand the sets better (and hopefully for some viewing pleasure) I need to get a better understanding of the characters and ships etc, which means watching the films. I did a little search on-line and it has been suggested to watch the episodes in this order: IV, V, I, II, III, VI. However, others have said you could just miss out I, or all of I, II, and III. Ever bought only one of something, or decided not to buy something at all and regretted it dearly after finding that it could have made you money? I bought one of the Amazon Exclusive 4 pack of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Glow in the Dark Funko Pop Vinyls for $35 back when they were for sale. Wish I would have known their valuation for now because not you have to spend at least $100+ to get them off ebay. Could have bought 10 for $350 and made over $3,000 on them. Regrets.

So as of January 29th I will no longer be employed after 15 years of faithful service at a big biotech company. First time unemployed and frankly I'm scared. Mortgage , kids , insurance are at the forefront of my concerns, but also my Lego collection. Any advice?

I'm gauging intrest for a fantasy baseball league this year. I plan on creating a league on yahoo. I havnt played in a few years but miss it . I've been too busy with work past few years.
