Just an update for collectors/investors in Canada...GE's are sold out at TRU.ca and Amazon.ca only show's 1 left. Surprised me, I was hoping to wait it out until LEGO Shop at Home is sold out (eventually) first before buying another GE at TRU.ca to delay spending but looks like TRU ran out of stock first. We don't have have GE's in our Walmarts, Chapters/Indigo, Targets, Mastermind, BB/FS etc. and apparently out of stock locally in my area at all 3 Lego Stores in Toronto and Lego Discovery Centre so I would recommend folks pick up at least ONE at LEGO Shop at Home before it's gone from retailers. Yeah so ive been watching the series 13 bags like a "hawk" waiting to pounce at the first sign of sale or clearance prices. Well i thought i was a hawk but now when i look everywhere i dont even see them for sale even at regular prices anymore. I swear i was checking a few stores which included london drugs and TRU almost daily. then one day they all got replaced by series 15. O.o and even then series 14 are almost gone from my local TRU and still no signs of sale or clearance $$ do they go that fast or was I a sleep at the wheel? Did anyone else see them on sale at all and where what province?

If anyone missed out on some 20% technic LEGO at TRUs, Best Buy.ca has the same sale on their technic selection until March 19. Other various sets are discounted at various amounts but nothing significant that I've noticed. Hardly worth mentioning.

Hey Guys, So after this last Christmas and the Canadian Tire MAdness in stores. Has Anyone been watching there online store? I checked them out and they seem to have some older harder to find sets still available. Although The prices are full price and i dont see any free shipping. My question is has anyone watched to see if there online store goes on clearance or sale? The same sets in stores were discounted 20-30% which seems weird to me that they are full price online.. Out of your entire collection, how much would you say you bought from Canada (e.***. a Canadian Lego Store, Walmart, Target, etc) for investing? I would have to say out of my collection it's pretty much less than 10%. Most of my stuff comes from state side or the UK. Insane markups + HST in Ontario just make the prices a joke compared to what our friends in the USA get.

Take a look at the comments; one member reports finding them in Calgary indicating that Westerners may be able to pick them up early as well. Was in Canadian tire last night browsing and came across the LEGO section 20-50% off. There were some good buys (ISD, ATAT, Pirate Ship).
