There is plenty out on the web for pricing, content, value, etc... so I am on to focus on build and display. There are lots of bags, about 33 so part management is reasonable. The manual is also split between two books. The instructions were clear and developers made good use of the space if one was going to play with it while balancing appearances. Some love to see lots of studs, others like clean flat surfaces, this build places some studs on decks and flooring while the sides are largely covered in studs despite flat panels attached. As for play factors, developers built out areas in spaces we did not really see in ROTJ, examples include the pilot are…

I got this set and built it today. Overall, its a very detailed set, although it is fairly small compared to the 20th Anniversary Slave 1 from a few years back. However, the build is quite nice and it has 707 parts and overall that provides a lot of nice detail for the size of the model. Old versions of this ship are not as clean, IMO. Theres not many studs showing on the exterior of this set and the play features are simple, yet have a nice level of sophistication, especially the part where you push in the nose of the base and it will deploy the bombs. The stand that comes with it is also very simple but extremely useful. So id say the pros are its a good, fun b…

Hi guys, Ive been doing an inventory of all my sets and I came across a large quantity of each of these sets. 20 of the 7655 and 17 of the 7654. Approx half of the sets have some sort of damage unfortunately.......light creasing and scuffing, but only a cpl are really pinched hard. I was wondering the best way to move some of these and what to expect as far as $$$. It seems to me that the selling price is all over the place so Im not sure what to ask, especially for the ones with damage on the packaging. One of the hardest things for me is evaluating how much a slight ding scratch or dent effects the sets value. Im a collector of many things an…

7655 Clone Trooper Battle Pack at Wal-Mart.com I was checking the wal-mart app this morning and found this battle pack back in stock online at $13.00. I missed out on them before they sold out everywhere. It would only let me add 1 with no site to store shipping so it ended up costing $19 with tax and shipping. Obviously more than I wanted to spend but I think my daughter will like this set for building the clone army.

HELP - LEGO 7662 RESEAL? So im in a bit of a bind.... one of my favorite sets of all time is the Star wars 7662 MTT Trade Federation. I took it down to look at it today and noticed something rather worrying about it. it appears that one side of the box looks like it has been resealed. The tape used is the exact same as lego, with the black rectangle on it, and safe texture and all. i have included a picture, please let me know what you guys think - i am debating opening it now to check for parts. Also....any idea what it would do to the value if i opened it to confirm contents? - still left all bags seal…

Does anybody know how many sealed bags this set should contain? Are there any loose pieces that came with the set outside of bags that I need to make sure are there? Thanks

7754-1: Home One Mon Calimari Star Cruiser This set retailed for $109.99 in 2009. You can still get it for less than $100 on eBay. 789 pieces & 6 minifigs. It was a Fan's Choice Anniversary Edition. What do you guys think? Looks like a cool set to me. Time to buy?

I bought one of my holy grail sets this holiday season then proceeded to break the box's seals and build the ship. Yes, I did that for the Rebel's Medical Frigate midi scale set. With Lego's release of so many ship or midi scale sets, I went back and decided to surf eBay until I found a decent deal on a legit set that appeared complete to include box but did not expect to find a sealed set for less than $200 including shipping. The box art is really great with an artist rendition of the lego build (complete with lego marked studs) on the front and a photo of the built version on the back. The build manual includes 2020 special edition markings. The kit includ…

As a small time investor/seller, I've recently noticed the Mandalorians are really out selling the other battle packs from my inventory: Endor (9489) and Clone Trooper (7913). Wonder if this will continue? I personally like all 3 and each has set has it's own strength/pro. Most retailers don't have them in stock anymore...retired and sold out. Good thing I stocked up on the Mandalorians during sales. There has been articles/blogs/topics about how single army packs are better than 'split' variety for army building etc. Guess to each their own. I just think these small packs are good bang for the buck and a must for most small time/newbie inve…

7931...is worth it? First let me start by saying thanks to all the people who share their information on here. I have scored some pretty sweet deals over the past year that I would have otherwise been completely oblivious to, simply by following this site regularly. My question... My wife dragged me to the bookstore today where I killed some time by scouting their LEGO section. Found a couple of these 7931 at 50% off retail. I have no personal interest in this set because these animated clone wars minifig faces give me the creeps but from an investment standpoint I was wondering if I should go back and pick these up. H…

They still have them at the brick and mortar Barnes and Noble for 30% off (plus another 10% if you are a rewards member.) Total of about 79.35 a pop...what do you think? This is one of the larger sets that i just haven't seen much discussion about... Regards-

First I saw this polybag at Wal-Mart once before December. Then I saw it at Target right before Christmas with the other LEGO right next to the "Mining Quad" polybag. And now this week and the last one there is a ton of these in every checkout aisle. I could not find it listed anywhere on their website though. I suppose it's an in-store exclusive? Anyway, just thought I'd let all you serious 'polybagers' know. TIE Fighter (8028) This last trip I only saw a few of the "Mining Quad" left. Maybe a fluke or yet another limited run of stock? Beats me....

Strange, I didn't see any topic about this set in the historic files of the Star Wars forum. Pretty cool looking set. Last night some lady put a brand new sealed box 8039 up for sale on a local selling site in Wheat Ridge, CO. She said "Paid $120. Asking $60". Some lucky SOB (son-ofa-brickpicker) snagged $400 worth of bricks this morning. Why do I not live in Wheat Ridge, CO, why ............ I just had to get that out of my system....
