Really like this model and I hope it makes it into production. I'm envisioning a shelf full of "Motos" in the future. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/160838 This is the 1967 BMW R60/2. Known across the world for its ruggedness and reliability, the R60 could provide a steady ride to rider and passenger alike. Nowadays, this vintage bike is still as reliable as it was 50 years ago. This Lego model was made for a friend and fellow Lego enthusiast to commemorate his father, who would take him on rides in this very motorcycle through the countryside. It is constructed to m…

The Mini Shop Series CUUSOO Project is nearing its goal of reaching full support and will be up for review eventually. While we're waiting for those results (and just for fun) how about we have a little vote for our favorite of them all? As Darth Lego even mentioned in another thread, there are good advertising possibilities to let Lego create a set for their brand, so anything can be possible in theory. Lego has done promotions with McDonald's in the past before, so there's one.

the latest lego ideas project to reach 10k votes has a very sad story to it. there is a good chance it will be picked regardless of the MOC designer's illness. it's a sound design that's not over complicated (elements, cost to market, etc...) and promotes better health (sun exposure in this case). https://ideas.lego.com/projects/155367 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/155367/updates

Obviously, TLG has a formula to assess ROI, and that is definitely the most important factor for them, but outside of that is there aspect that drives their decision one way or the other? Seems like sets withh IP face additional difficulty, there are still sets from 2015 that are “in review” (the office)

This one is getting close to 10,000 supporters. I'm not sure if I'm a big fan, but it is a big part of the prequel trilogy. This is just one scene that could be depicted. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/115367

Old Fishing Store - Modular Building The Story The story for this modular building was that the Old Fishing Store is based upon the Christmas sets that are available. I liked the Christmas sets so I built this one on Lego Digital Designer (LDD). I really believe that this model could have a lot of genuine interest to fans of Christmas sets. This is the first of a series of modular buildings that I will be making. Summary The building consists of roughly 2160 parts and three floors: the main store, office, and lookout. I used the colors brown and sand green that gives it a realistic feeling. Three Mini-figures could be added such as a fisherman, the sto…

I was searching on flickr for something else completely and somehow stumbled across this Japanese knockoff item that looks like the worse LEGO set I've ever seen. I know the actual LEGO design will be nothing remotely this horrible, but this was so bad I just had to share it. Here's the original source.
