Is this common, or has this happened to others? About a year ago I purchased the Darth Vader Meditation Chamber lego set on clearance at Walmart. It was sealed - definitely. I finally got around to opening it last night for a build and lo-and-behold I don’t know what the heck was inside. First of all, no instructions. Then, a lot of the bags were not Star Wars related, and the pieces in the bags looked old, dented, scratched, etc. It looks like someone just threw some random bags in there. I confirmed it was sealed - unless some hacks have figured out a way to reseal a box and make it look like it was never opened to swap out bags and pieces?

Here's yet another opinion thread. "What theme(s) or set(s) do you think are the weakest?" This can range from what your gut instinct is for investment to personal opinions on less than stellar designs and this includes all sets & themes, not just currently available or future ones even. Here's my starting two cents. Speed Racer - 8160 - Cruncher Block & Racer X Released in 2008 alongside the new film and three other sets, this one ended up being by the far the 'lemon'. Courious to what members here that have large inventory or collections on display do when they list their house for sale and do open houses/showings. Or when there's 'strangers' in the house like repair guys or hosting a large party. Do you declutter a bit and pack most things away...put your most valuable pieces away? Or maybe you don't care. Not that I'm moving or selling my house anytime soon but just wonder if members had experience of some jerk or kids grabbing minifigs or a set while viewing. Received my first ever shipment from yoyo.com today. This is the box that arrived, pretty sizeable. What could be in it? Perhaps a couple Jabba's Sail Barges? Dolphin Cruisers? Lots of packing material, that's a good sign. Nope, just a few baseplates. I just thought it was kind of comical and wanted to share. I ordered a handful of these baseplates over the weekend and was surprised to see a 3 foot wide box sitting on my porch when I got home from work yesterday. Better to be overpackaged than the other way around. I think we can safely assume you won't be getting any pancakes from yoyo!
