Flick Fire missiles are probably the greatest feature of any set. My only disappointment is that LEGO does not include more of them in each theme! The realism of these projectiles astounds me. Just take a look at Attack on Weathertop! Those missiles are classic LOTR. Remember when they used those missiles in the movie? No set is complete without several of these accurate and easy to shoot weapons. Can you imagine if they had included this kind of advanced technology with Cafe Corner? Its value on the secondary market would probably "skyrocket." Flick Fire Missiles- How did we ever live without them?

Some of us members have little kids or remember when your kids were small...here's my story. My son is 3.5yrs old and this spring I built a Star Wars MOC to surprise him, even mom didn't have a clue I turned one of our rooms into Lego fun room. So a MOC is never truly 100% done so I showed it to him anyways...he was excited walking around the table looking at all the pieces and minifigs. Only missing Darth Vader and I need to open an Empire Strikes Out dvd for him...but at one end of the table is a 'bad guys' base with conference room, table + chairs etc. Seated are Darth Maul, Palpatine, Asajj Ventress, Count Doku, Nute Gunray and Savage Opress. My son says…

I'm going back to my country and would like to carry some with myself. Just wondering whether it's allowed to be carried on the plane. I think there shouldn't be a problem but just want to make sure it's allowed so that i don't have to throw it in the bin Thanks for the helps!!!

  7. http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/man-buys-picture-xbox-one-750-200637663.html Ummm... He's 19 and has a 4 year-old son and he has his 5 minutes of fame. So if I put up a picture of SSD and say it is a picture of a SSD, people will bid on it like it is an actual SSD? I think the seller should keep 1/2 the money.

Well, I was wandering around the interwebs earlier today and bumped into this article from Yahoo! Not going to get too much into the details of the article but what made me put this over here is that the hospital where the man is rehab-ing has a Maersk ship - 10241 or 10155 - available as a form of occupational therapy. The pic was taken on 08/01/2013. It's number 13 of 33 on the slideshow. http://news.yahoo.com/photos/after-afghanistan-learning-to-walk-again-a-brave-soldier-fights-a-new-battle-1385072358-slideshow/ Do you think it is the new Triple E or the previous Container Ship? I know that there's another BP member that used Lego during his re…

If you haven't, you are not a true Lego collector/investor. It's basically the table top Lego version of Warhammer 40k, but better. It's so fun to play with your friends or siblings or whatever. Just look it up on the interweebs. Oh and they made a Lego Brikwars game for computers, it's free too. With the help of programs like Hamachi, we can actually be able to fight each other. I love Brikwars, I recently created an army. And I'm awaiting in the mail for my hero unit, Boba Fett, since my 8 other men I have are Mandalorians from 7914.

  13. If anyone is Missouri or around Des Peres, there is a new Lego store opening. Grand opening promotions are on the 10-12 of May. All promotions are for the first 300 customers with qualifying purchases. Friday: FREE Collectible LEGO T-Shirt with a $50 Purchase! Saturday: FREE Limited-Edition LEGO Store Set with a $75 Purchase! Sunday: Free Exclusive LEGO Minifigure Set with a $50 Purchase! I just got this email in my inbox, so I thought I would share the love... I am 100% sure that if you receive any of the above items from you Lego store, you will be able to sell them for a very very pretty penny later on, especially the Saturday Limited-Edition LEGO Store.

Today's Top Gear episode featured LEGO. It was very briefly as an intro to a Danish car but they were there. Clarkson referred to them as "amusing children's toys." It was nice, as Sport's cars and Motoring are my other great hobby. And it is always nice when something bridges between the hobby world's like this. It kind of connects them and helps us see the great things in both hobbies. Somehow both seem to become greater than the sum of their parts. And one can truly appreciate the best of both worlds. And how our passions and our hobbies help define who we are and what we dream of. It struck a particular cord with me as one of the sets they had was t…

Guys, if anyone has this set, could you tell me please if those gray parts suppose to come off the hull or if they are glued in somehow? I'm trying to clean it up and looks like something rusted there (the water goes in and out under those parts). So any chance to take them out without breaking? The heavy red brick - any tricks about that one or just leave it alone? Same problem there - a spot of rust.

  17. So some years ago I bought a few Mill Village sets #7189 and broke them down for Bricklink. But I didn't list the goats on Bricklink because I was going to list them on eBay, but never did. Thankfully, in the meantime the set retired, no more sets with little white goats, and I didn't sell them for cheap. Nice to find a bag of 30 of them in a drawer Also, I thought I just had a single Delorean #21103 set, but when moving a few things around earlier this evening, I found two more. Woot! Any stories you have of finding forgotten goodies?

Why do people leave LEGOS behind? Today I was cleanning out a vacant house. I come across LEGOS! As my co- woker was about to shovel them into the trash. I Screamed " NOOOOOOOO" ran over and snatched all the legos I could find before he threw them away. So as I sit and look at the peices. To my surprize I found LEGO Star Wars Snow Trooper Army Pack (8084) complete everything box and instructions. But why would someone spend money just to leave it like trash. well now im glad proud to keep all these lost LEGOS safe and sound.

I just wonder how that would happen - opened box but sealed bags (all of them). Instructions and stickers are there, looking as good as they could. I see such sets on ebay from time to time, the sellers seem to be reliable and the prices are ok too. Any idea guys? Thanks! If I missed any mentioning about it here - I'd appreciate a link to it

I came across this 4-part web-series where numerous Adult Fans of LEGO were interviewed on many aspects of LEGO in their life. Check it out, fellow brickers. Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JWqkErZsqo Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FRMDxmL3BQ Part 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IoxSvJuBOU Part 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zn9MbHVyItg Each clip averages to about 6-7 minutes, so you might want some popcorn or something to snack on in the meantime.
