So if I put up a picture of SSD and say it is a picture of a SSD, people will bid on it like it is an actual SSD? I think the seller should keep 1/2 the money.

  2. I know that I'm a little late for Christmas, but I have received a number of questions about great gifts for LEGO Architecture enthusiasts, and I thought that fellow Brickpicker readers might be interested as you wrap-up your holiday gift shopping. Naturally, I included my favorite LEGO Architecture & related sets, as they make fantastic gifts. At this point, my Splurge suggestion is the Parisian Restauraunt, my midrange pick is the US Capitol Building, and my budget pick is the Berlin Skyline set. (The 2017 Skylines also look very interesting and I hope I can recommend them for holiday 2017.)A few of my gift ideas for LEGO Architecture enthusiasts.I also wanted t…

I received two packages today via USPS: 9450 bought off ebay. Listed as brand new with pics to match. Seller slapped a label on the LEGO box and put it in the mail. How moronic is this? Of course, box was completely destroyed. 9516 bought off Amazon as new from third party. Shipped in brown paper only. Box destroyed. After taking pictures, I removed the rest of the brown paper. One end of the box had been opened PRIOR to being shipped and was taped shut. Upon opening the box, bag 1 had been opened at some point and taped shut. I just want to smack these people upside the head. I sure with there was some recourse to be compensated for my time in having to deal wi…

I don't anything about these figures/models or whatever they are but they look pretty awesome. Are they posable? Collectible? Can a child actually play with them like an action figure? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bandai-The-Robot-Spirits-R-121-MSN-04-Sazabi-Gundam-Chars-Counterattack-Figure-/131077742131?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=IHbIp%252FanUciKOQ%252FVZc9BJUr8RSE%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc#ht_734wt_1362

Has anyone seen these before. It is six stickers in a pack. The stickers are not your traditional stickers, they are about 1/4 inch thick. Seems to be three different sets, most in city characters. Are they new or just resurrected out of the dungeons of Targets backroom. ? what are they used for?

Didnt want to talk about any LEGO set, whats retiring, F5 button pushing, DD, etc .... on this milestone post ... Just want to give thanks to the founding fathers of this site and of course the contributing community. Over a year and a half ago when I stumbled upon this site I didnt think I would be where Im at today with LEGO investing. Crazy is all I can say!! Cheers to many many more posts and a profitable LEGO investing venture!

I want to wish my BIG brother Ed a Very Happy Birthday today. Many, many decades ago, Ed was put on this earth to help build the world's greatest LEGO website Ed has always been an awesome big brother and didn't beat me up too much. Just the normal torturing of a little brother and he did used to make me and my sister sort his LEGO into boxes, but it was never too bad. Now you all get benefit of his wisdom from many years of experience. So please everyone, wish Ed a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

So just the other day I found the Phantasm DVD collection with all five films at Best Buy I believe for like $12. I'm going to be binge watching that alongside the annual Rocky Horror Picture Show viewing with family (my mother) as is tradition. (Her TV's bigger.) Anyway I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween! And may The Great Pumpkin leave lots of LEGO! Oh and for anyone curious, one day left (as of posting) to pre-order the 80s horror documentary "In Search Of Darkness" limited run.

Just curious what sets people are giving as gifts? or What are you hoping to receive? In my house the GF and I buy all sets we like as soon as they are released. This impatient behavior does cause a headache come birthday (hers Dec 19th) and xmas time. This year I decided to BL the Cafe Corner, and luckily the creator Park Animals is available already. Me, hoping for gift cards to off set the cost of the Ghostbuster Headquarters.

Happy Independence Day to everyone regardless of background, country, race, Lego investing opinions, etc... At one point, we all have earned our "independence" in one way or another (e.g. The Master Builders from Lord Business, various countries from the British ) and remember to "Crush it like Quint this holiday weekend" and BE SAFE .

Got off night shift, early in the morning, cleaned up the house and put out some flowers for my wife to find in the morning when she wakes up. Seemed bland. Took a few extras and spiced it up a bit. Im sure my little boys will be amused too (Mother's day is May in the U.S. for the Euro readers. That gives me time to prep for a cooler gift for the mother in law in EU. )
