To let me know they are pissed about my buying habits. To wit: "We noticed that you recently used your Target Debit Card to make a purchase that might have been for business purposes. We wanted to remind you that your Target Debit Card Agreement with us states the card can only be used for "personal, family, or household use." Please be sure to follow the conditions of that agreement. If we notice other unusual charges, we may need to investigate and possibly close your account. We're glad you've been using your Target Debit Card and hope you'll continue to enjoy all of its benefits. Sincerely, Target" Anyone else get anything similar? The …

Thought this was interesting, if only because the picture that sparked the change involved "Building Sets"; AKA LEGO. (Sorry Megablocks) http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/08/living/gender-based-signs-target-feat/

I'm wondering how other people have handled this situation with Target. I purchased a set last week online. Today, the price on the same set has dropped by $4, but it's not an advertised deal in their weekly ad. Is it easiest to return the higher priced set to Target and purchase the lower priced one? Or, is it possible to get Target to modify the price to match the new, lower price? Thanks.

So, the other day my local pharmacy abruptly (read: in the middle of the night) closed shop. While researching who to hire as my new dealer, I stumbled upon Target's pharmacy deal. You guys may already know about this, but it was news to me so I'm throwing it out there. Apparently, for every 5 prescriptions you have filled at Target, you get a certificate or something for 5% off your entire purchases at Target for a whole day. This 5% is stackable with red card 5%. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. But here's the fine print: this program doesn't apply to NY and NJ. FML!!!! But hopefully some of you who don't live in these 2 states can benefit.

on the way to work today, I stopped at a super target (or whatever they are called). I saw quite a few sets on the shelves but their prices were higher than walmart (5 diffs ranging 10%-25%). so i put the sets in the cart and checked out. it was a long process (scanning the barcodes before checkout using the walmart ios app). however, all i needed to do was show the cashier each price from the phone (i did use amazon for 1 item). it did take extra time since the cashier needed to manually override many prices. i ended up picking a few sets. (copy and paste from the walmart app) LEGO Star Wars AT-RT 4440 LEGO CITY FOREST POLICE STATION x2 at $59 (haven't seen …

I came across this when browsing today, a Storefront Partner. I'm not sure how long they've been doing this, first I've seen it, but it says you can return items bought through the Storefront to Target retail locations. https://www.target.com/p/lego-ninjago-341-piece-flying-jelly-sub-construction-set-70610/-/A-75529580 https://www.target.com/c/target-storefront-/-/N-storefront

I know this is a little off topic from normal Brickpicker discussion. Since many of us are frequenting Target stores recently for clearance deals, what is that smell you get a strong indication of when you walk into Target? I did a quick Google on it and some say it's a scent they add to the HVAC system, others think it's a mixture of popcorn and new product smell. Do you think it's an actual scent, because they really do all smell the same, for the most part? If it is a fragrance of some sort, I'm not buying it for an air freshener, soap, or laundry detergent.

I went to Kmart today to have them price match their online price of $15 on 60003, fire emergency. They had two on the shelf and matched them with no problems when I showed them the online price on my phone. Great deal! Well, there is a target about two miles away that I decided to stop in at and try my luck with a price match. They also had two on the shelf. I took them up to the customer service desk as I have done a few other times with other sets. I politely asked for a price match and told them it was Kmart online, which is also offering free store pickup. The CS lady said that they do not price match Kmart. They only match their own website, walmart, bestbuy, amazon…

There is a target about an HR from me that is showing a retired Lego set that I've been looking for. But brickpickers' inventory check shows it's not in stock there. Which is more accurate?

Not sure if this is common knowledge, but target.com has Town Hall (10224) on sale for $177.99. With redcard and ******, I was able to get another 7% discount ($165.53) and free shipping. If my math is right, its a little more than 17% discount in total.

Hello fellow Brickpickers! I know this is a bit off topic (as far as LEGO), but a guy I work with sent me a text to that Target stores are offering Triple Trade-In Value on Video Games. He said they would also put the value of the trade-ins on a gift card. So I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who has a stash of video games that they don't play anymore. It's this week only, limit of 3 video games per trade-in per guest. You can view the games accepted for the offer on Target's website. So if you have some games on the list, you can trade-in and maybe bring home some LEGO for them.

It took me a while to calm down enough from everything so I'll try to make this short and quick to the point. Ahem.... Earlier today I went into Target and was planning on using two of their coupons (the "$5 off Lego" & "$5 off TMNT") on Turtle Lair Attack. I also picked some other odds & ends plus a couple other sets. (See recent post in "What did you buy today?") Anyway, up at the checkout I was told they will now price match there from here on out so I would not need to go up to customer service to do so. Cool I thought. So far everything went fine, the lady cashier had a woman from customer service there to help with matching and entering in prices. At the …
