Hi, I've been roaming this forum for a couple of months now, but perhaps it is nice to introduce myself I'm a 31 year old lego investor that is freelance IT project manager, owner of an app company and altcoin- (like bitcoin) trader and enthusiast. I got into Lego investing because my girlfriend is doing a project for Lego and she could bring me home a heavily discounted item from the lego store. As I was looking on the internet what I wanted to have, I found out there is a huge community surrounding this. I was already looking for ways to use some of my bitcoin profits and once I saw the Millennium Falcon (75105) she brought me home, I was hooked! I a…

Hello guys, I registered here a couple days ago and finally decided to start participating in the discussions and such. I just recently discovered LEGO investing, but I have been "collecting" (really small collection) for a while now. I mostly buy and build but I figured out I could do some investing here and there. My first set for investment is the Tower Bridge that I got for $190. I only have that one and have been resisting the temptation to build it since I got it haha. Anyway, hope I can bring something that is of value for you and of course have a good time!

Hi fellow BPs, I just registered my account a couple of months ago and wanted to drop by and introduce myself; I'm a long time Lego enthusiast and AFOL. In the past, I have mostly been buying sets for myself to play/build/display with but with Lego becoming an increasingly expensive hobby for me, I have decided to invest in it to having a small source of funding. Currently, I am only investing in SW, but I would like some tips and suggestions of what themes to invest in and what to look out for in each theme. ( And no, I'm not that sort of dreamy dude who believes 10179 can repeat again)

Hello everyone. I'm a big lego fan and I recently decided to start investing in my favorite hobby. I have a few small sets saved up over the years and I'd like to learn more about lego investing. I used to make a lot of Lego Stop-Motion animations but with school and running track it's been hard to keep up such a time consuming activity. I'm not trying to make a fortune here but I think this could be fun as well as a small source of income. P.S. Any other runners out there?

I created this profile a year or so ago, but haven't posted much yet. Hoping to change that and maybe trade with some of you guys. Got into the hobby as a kid during the golden years of the 90s; forestmen, Wild West, aqua zone, even time twisters are all favorites. Started collecting again a few years ago after getting caught up in the CMF phase about series 4. Now I mainly focus on: CMF line Star Wars Modulars Architecture DC/marvel Thanks! Adam

I changed my original user name because it was the same as my Lego ID but MarleyMoose was the nickname for my 1st dog. A female Rottweiler named Marley.

Hello guys, Let me introduce myself. I'm from Vienna, Austria - yes, the other Austria where the kangaroos are only known from TV and zoo. I'm a 34 years old male who got out of his dark ages almost a year ago and now started to invest in Lego. It started all when my best friend bought some bulk Lego for his child at a flea market and discovered that the 29€ Lego contained the complete 10225 (R2-D2) and 7965 (MF). He asked me for help and wanted to know the worth of it. When I was a kid/teen was crazy for Lego and from time to time I checked the new Lego, but I thought I was too old to buy it. Nevertheless, I started to investigate about his 10225 and saw that…

Hi all Indy here, I've been creating things out of LEGO for a long while. Interested to see what you guys have and what's out there to get. Here is a time-lapse video of me creating my VW Camper van. Enjoy One question I have is how to make the white bricks that have discoloured go back to a clean white colour. Thanks, Indy

Hello Friends, I'm a young collector just starting out. We didn't have much growing up, which is one of the many reasons I am trying my hand at buying legos. In addition to investing, I want to learn about all things lego.(History, personalities, future etc.) Soon i'd like to create an organization system and have a nice collection of bricks for building.I hope to learn, grow, and have lots of fun. I'll be spending the next week looking for guides, information, and trying to ask myself as many questions as I can. If there is anything valuable you'd like to share, such as buying tactics, resources, etc. I would be honored to learn from you! If necessary, I can organiz…

I've been a member for a couple of months and I realized I never introduced myself. Better late then never. My name is Jason and I'm live in New Orleans, Louisiana. I recently got back into Lego, when my children were old enough. Like many of you know, it's been a downward spiral into the abyss that is Lego. Growing-up, I was one of five and my family never had much money. Lego was luxury that we rarely received, but always wanted. Now as an adult, it's hard not to buy EVERYTHING that you want and justifying it to my wife by telling her it's for the children[emoji6] I've enjoyed picking up a couple used bulk mainly for the bricks. I wanted my children to start o…

Hey and Hello, I am new here and wanted to introduce myself. My Name is Dominic, live in thea area of Schweinfurt in Germany, I'm 27 years old and have a almost 3-year old Son. A few days ago I was searching for a birthday present for my sons 3rd Birthday and I thought about different toys. At some point I came accross Matchbox and Hot Wheels and I was thinking that I could always buy two same cars, one that my son can play with and one that I can collect and sell with a little profit in a few years. Though I've started a little bit of research for some 'unusual' investments and stumbled over LEGO as a, not so bad, possibility. As a Kid I loved to play with L…

Hi all, Recently got into lego investing and was wondering if anyone had any specific threads that would be essential reading for investors based in uk. As it seems like there is a lot of differences when comparing us / canada prices to UK. I've already read a lot of the various theme threads and trying to research a lot until I go and make my first real investment. Regards
