Hey all, My apologies if this has been addressed a hundred times before - I'm a TRU noob. I am trying to find out if TLG exclusives (modulars, Arkham Asylums, Star Wars $200-$400 sets, etc.) are carried, typically, by some or most TRU Brick and Mortar stores (not online). I stopped by my local TRU yesterday and found nuthin'. Also, does TRU.com price match, or is that only available in the physical stores? Thanks! Remember, it's always okay to point and laugh at me if the information is staring right at me!

Does anyone have a complete list of TRU brown clearance sets? Someone mentioned the 3 in 1 super pack (66475) a few days ago as Having been missed - I checked today and my TRU had 2 of them on the shelf at $129.99 each. I checked the price and they came up $26 (I bought both). I assume that there are brown clearance sets sitting in a lot of stores not marked down. If someone could put together a list it would make it easier to scope out stores.

I just hit my local TRU and was excited to see a Vampyre Castle and Vampyre Hearse on the shelves. Scanned them and was happy to see the price of $50 and $20. So brought them home but now realize I was stupid and didn't look at the seals. They were both opened and scotch taped. Of course all of the minifigures were taken out. Just return them right? Or worth hanging on to even without the minifigs at that price? Think pretty much all of the value is in the minifigs, I'm not a parter outer so don't know too well.

So I have been trying to personally collect the Master Builder sets and when I saw that they were listing at 50% off, I was stoked. Drove out to the closest TRU and they were at full price, no big deal, I'd just keep checking and cross my fingers. There were like 3 to 4 of each. As the visits continued and the price never dropped, they started disappearing left and right. Now that TRU has dropped many exclusive prices back to MSRP, I'm thinking of using some gift cards to purchase some -- any discount is better than none. I have zero experience with TRU online order shipments. I've seen the pics on this forum and wondered what are people's experiences with the larger sets -- pet shop, town hall, tower bridge, etc...? If I have to return a number of sets to the store multiple times, the gas/time is going to nullify the savings. Also, I know that they tend to fill orders from in-store stock when they can. So my TRU is insane. Just stuck out the new Ninjago sets for later this year, 70727 and 70728. 70727 is not that great but the 70728, battle for Ninjago city is just stellar. Along with this the WHOLE Ultra Agents theme is out on the shelves in droves at retail. So my thoughts are, as most of these aren't slated to come out until August, I should be buying everyone I find right? Turboflipping? Speaking of that, the Ultra Agents sets look really impressive. Loving the mobile command center.

I've been using the rewards certificates on amazon kindle gift cards for the past year without any issues. Tried tonight again with the new rewards certificate and they wouldn't work. Saw the exclusion of gift cards on the back. I don't remember but does anyone know if this exclusion has always been present on old rewards?

I was really excited to bring my boys to go to the Lego Movie build today at TRU. I had called ahead a few days ago and asked what to expect. I was told the kids would be building their lego sets in stores and then able to take them home. They usually run out fast, so to expect a line. So I went early with my kids and found there to be no line, nor did one gather (which was just fine with me). But rather than actually have the kids build the sets there, they just handed them a bag and instructions and sent them home. Bought a couple of sets from the TRU ebay store a few weeks ago. One of them came in with damaged box. Normally in such case with a TRU.com purchase I'll just return to the local store, but I'm not sure whether local store can handle return for purchase from their ebay store. Anyone has experience? How do they do refund since I paid via paypal? Thanks!

I am new on this site and to Lego investing. I have recently been buying multiple clearance sets from TRU online and in store. The majority of my orders were cancelled online as a guy phoned me up and explained that they don't let you buy items to sell on. I explained that I was building an army with the figures, but they all got cancelled other than 1. They are also very inquisitive when I buy in store, so am worked they are going to tell me I can't buy any more. How has anyone got around this problem?
