Nothing new in the licensed category thus far, but a handful of new critters and a nice eventually high discount parts pack wedding topper. @Val-Ehurt my feelings so I created a new thread

Apparently licensed Brickheadz are still a thing. Numbering of the set jumped to the Star Wars 75*** versus the standard Brickheadz 41***

https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=https://www.stonewars.de/&prev=search Just saw this from German site. The site had some details and went as far as noting it'sjust a matter of the set being (initially) exclusive or not. so much more substantial than a rumor or hearsay. No pics but the set is supposed to be a BHz of the Statue of Liberty Clearly BHz is not dead (as if we needed anymore evidence)...and I seriously don't know if that's good or bad for the appreciation potential of past sets. It seems to me that LEGO is being much more selective in terms of new BHz sets..like they tried the shotgun approach (w/ BHz landing in e…

Let's assume that Lego discontinues the Brickheadz line and 2019 is the last year; under that assumption what sets should the collectors and resellers target? Obviously Mickey and Minnie are the front runners; but I would bet the Harry Potter series will be the most covetted 2 to 5 years from now. ONe does not need to be a Lego fan to want these and they are the perfect size for display (hoarding). The other thing about HP I have noticed is the flood of licensed "collectibles" being offerred from socks to wands to candies...so I can imagine HP collectors will become more selective as they navigate the flood waters...something premium and discontinued.

What a fantastic building experience, and a great price! I just finished writing a review based on my first impressions of 41597 - Go Brick Me, which was just released on Sunday. The set represents a great value at $29.99 USD for 708 pieces. While I've only scratched the surface of using this set as intended - to build custom Brickheadz of your friends and family, i'm happy to report that the selection of parts and instructions is a great place to get started. I also included a detailed look at some of the parts in this set, as it represents a great price for a parts pack, too. Seven parts available for the first time in n…
