Hello People. New to the forum but happy to find it. I've have a number of LEGO items that were given to me at least 20 years ago by a manager of LEGO in Enfield CT. They have for the most part sitting in a closet never opened. One in particular I have not been able to find any info on. A LEGO Master Watch from 1997. What is the value and why haven't I been able to find anything about it? Any help would be appreciated. I attached some pics. Thank you in advance. j12

I recently have inherited over 1000 new sets of legos from the 1990's to 2016. They were from an estate of a gentlemen that bought them and hoarded them. I have been looking up the value of them on this site. As someone who is new to lego's, other than buying them for my son's. What is the best way to sell them? There are lots of Star Wars of sets, Holiday Trains, Green Grocers, Corner Cafes, just an overwhelming variety. Any information would be so helpful.

I just got an order for a set that just sold for over $800. Buyer will pay shipping and signature. Is it worth buying insurance for this set? If so, where do you guys get your insurance from? There was a site I once used but I can't recall the name of it. Plus, not sure if it's worth it with UPS insurance.

My son is pretty good at building lego sets (he is 6 and has built the death star and sand crawler). However, we want to introduce him to motorized lego. So far his exposure is to lego trains. What is a good way to introduce him to lego motors and which ones would you recommend buying? The ones from lego education seem great (with the necessary pieces and curriculum) however, they seem pricey for the number of pieces. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Right so I've only tested the water a little in the last month since I started 'investing' in Lego. I've picked up a few freebies from Amazon and a few random cheap bits on Facebook market place too. Just wanted some advice on which of these sets I should keep hold and which I should try and shift more quickly. 75155: Rebel U-wing Fighter 21306: The Beatles Yellow Submarine 71016: Kwik-E-Mart Speed Champions Lego Ferrari F1 Lego Speed Champions 75881 2016 Ford GT & 1966 Ford GT40 Building Set 2 of Speed Champions 75878 "Bugatti Chiron" Building Set LEGO DC Comics 70902 Batman Movie Catwoman Catcycle Chase Batman LE…

The new Iron Man exclusive figure for the preorder of the new marvel game has been shown, and it look amazing. With the leg, arm, are arc reactor printing, it is something. Now I did put this in the question category because I was curious on what is the most efficient way to grab a few of these while evading actually ordering the game. In the past I have walked into GameStops and just asked if they had any of the figures with them (Plasticman). I once got a sole on for free but all the other times I was declined. Is there a better way?

Hello everyone. First time poster here. I've been buying some Lego sets when I can find a nice discount since the end of 2018, and so far I've been keeping them aside (sold only 3 city sets so far at ~20% profit). Yesterday in a shop close to me I noticed they had the 60228 (2019's Deep Space Rocket and Launch Control) on sale at 60€ with its original price being the same as in the Lego website at 110€, and I bought it for my son. We just finished building it and it's pretty cool, with a lot of "special" parts that aren't very common (at least I don't see them much, but I could be wrong, since I'm still a noob in this). Here's what's crossing my mind: …

  8. I'm just trying to get a poorly printed piece from the Mustang set and it's already out-of-stock...and that got me thinking is this a 'No Duh" type of thing?

  9. Hi, I have the Star Wars 1999 collection all unopened and in great condition...minus one (7128). Is it best to sell as a group or individually? Thank you for your help!

  10. Do you guys think it is really worth to $150+ for the rare double crossover track set #7996. I heard there are other ways to do a double crossover in your train layout but I thought it would just be easier to buy this set.

I think so, I'm a DC and super hero guy, and there are allot of new Lego super hero sets that are coming out. Like the Avengers Infinity War sets are already out at Amazon, Lego.com, and Walmart. So I think the super hero sets are an investment. What do you guys think?

  12. Started by scratchdesk,

Picked up a Death Star 75159. Seller shipped it without any box so it arrived absolutely trashed with packing tape all over it. I'm trying to figure out if it's all present. Does anyone have any recommendations or knowledge on what is contained inside the outer box? I have 2 unmarked bags and 4 bags for #5, #7, #9 and #10. Along with the 3 white boxes which should include the other bags along with the manual. So basically 16 marked bags and 2 unmarked. Plus the 3 white boxes, all of which appear to be factory sealed. I tried watching a bunch of unboxing videos but can't seen to find one that lays out just what's inside just the outer box.

We're headed down to San Diego for vacation this year. Is the Legoland offer (buy 1 get 1) a good deal when the first ticket is full price? Anyone know of better discounts on Legoland tickets?

  15. Is a list somewhere of dates when older sets were retired? This seems like an important metric since that is when the CAGR starts going up. But I can't find historic retirement dates for most sets.

  16. Title says it! I imported my Used collection from brickset, but it added it as New. Is there a way to delete the entire brickfolio? I'd rather not go do it one by one, lol.

  17. Started by FM,

I recently sold 5x 31059 (Sunset Street Bike) to a buyer in Florida. Buyer has 500+ feedback, 100% positive, and has no items for sale. Today I received this email to my gmail account (not an ebay message), with the buyer claiming to be a dealer in Japan. Does this look legit? Is this normal practice? Is the Florida/Japan inconsistency a red flag or is Florida his buying clearing house? I've only worked with other dealers on small one-time sales so I'm sniffing for a scam if there's one here. Thanks for any advice in advance! Hello My name is xxx xxx. I am retailer in Japan. I sell 200 foreign products and make $50000 each month in Japan. T…

Pictures So I opened a new Lego set today (the number is 75099 for those curious) and as I started to build it, I noticed that the Rey minifig has a face on both sides of her head. I showed my mom and she started wondering if it was worth anything. And so, I fell down the rabbit hole of Lego collecting websites to see if a similar misprint had ever sold for a noticeable amount of money and didn't find anything. Tl;dr: I'm about as new to this as anyone could ever be, so be gentle.

parts 61287pb002 and 61287pb001 I bought these new off BL for a Town Hall but I can't seem to find the LEGO trademark on either. I see the number 3 on one and 4 the other. Thinking it is a fake. Can one of you that has a TH easily accessible check for me. I'll admit my eyes aren't what they were but any help is appreciated. I keep getting an error "There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200 " trying to upload other better closeup pics

I recently purchased a large store display and on the back there is a place where I can plug in a 5V AC Power Adapter. However, I'm having troubles actually finding the right type of adapter that fits the plug. Before I go out and buy something, could someone point me in the right direction on the type of Power Adapter that typically works for these larger Store Display's.

Hello, Can someone explain to me what is truly meant by a LEGO 'exclusive'? If I'm on LEGO online and I do a search on the Exclusive category, I see many sets that are also sold at Amazon, Target, etc. Why are these sets called LEGO exclusives when other retailers sell them? Thanks
