yup.... i blew dry off the security and price tags....  little residue left.... but oh well..... pp

Use a very small amount of "Mykal Sticky Stuff Remover" on some kitchen roll, wiping across the residue so that it does not absorb into the packaging and Bob's your Uncle it's gone and you are left with a nice shine MISB box.

Number of sellers is piling on
By this afternoon Amazon prices will be the same as eBay.

not for prime sellers.  also amazon has higher fees so the price will always be higher on amazon fbm .  even at the current price 2.69x MSRP there is  meat on the bone and those who bought in the hundreds are harvesting the easy money.

but selling season is just getting started.   no restockings before cyber money i mean cyber monday will bode well for well-stocked qfll.

how do we know no restocking before cyber monday ?

is that a guess or has lego stated it that would be great news

its a guess.  looking at previous mid-November 2014 release of Minecraft wave 1 which were incredibly popular and easily flippable, and didn't come back in stock until Feb-March I am expecting no restockings in 2017 but its all a guess.

Just an FYI for future orders from BN if you check "Make this a gift" then no stickers.

Thank you both for the good info!  PP

The undercutting on this is insane. I just matched the low price and dropped to seventh on the list in 5 minutes. Think I'll hang back for now.

It's a race to the bottom as posted earlier. I'm going to keep selling mine for $49.75-$49.95 on ebay as I've got unlimited supply at the lego store in Vancouver. I just keep on making those runs to the border to ship.

Technically not a bubble as prices haven´t fallen back to RRP or below and demand is still strong for it to be ranked in the top 100 construction toys.

Ebay even worse...but the algorithm does help you sell for more and keep you at the top or near the top of the 1st page. I'm assuming a combination of top rated seller status shipping and return policy have something to do with it.... I sold out of the 12 I had listed. Will wait later to list again.

It's bouncing around for sure. I did manage to sell a couple so I climbed back up before sliding down again. I'm at $70 shipped fwiw.

Looking to sell half in the next few days and will hold the other half until cyber Monday or closer to xmas. Hedging my bet so to speak.

Received a message from one of my buyers that bought at 79.99 complaining of damage and missing pieces, demanding a refund. Likely a scammer. Experienced FBM sellers (I do almost exclusively FBA) - how should I respond to this? Just refund to avoid the A-Z claim and move on?

I would tell them to return it for a full refund. Don't give them a free set. You'll have to pay the return shipping but I would rather do that then give it away.

They could send you back a box of rocks though and you would still lose the fight.

you in US are all so lucky to have such a reasonable laws, legislature and all around it.. this "EU socialistic project" dictates that every business seller throughout the EU has to accept any item sold "at the distance (meaning mostly over the internet)" within 14 days upon receiving as a rreturn eligible for a FULL REFUND to a buyer.. and not just that.. some judicial theses are also of that opinion that you have to cover also the buyer's shipping back expenses - and the best part of it: The buyer is on the basis of this EU regulation entitled to return a:) used, opened goods.. (exceptions such as movies, software apply].. b ) return the item without its original packaging (in this case it was meant as a hairdryer etc..) .. so would you operate on this market?

I'd try return/refund first. If it gets messy, you can always have "fun" with somebody's address a few months later ;-)

This is the risk with selling a current set at way above RRP. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle, so I'm waiting for EOL and it'll do just fine ;-)

I'm surprised that more MFs aren't being returned.

No, sounds like a pain in the a$$.  I try to sell local as much as possible and not use eBay as much.  No fees and no returns.

I agree, my bread & butter sales are either local or to long-term trusted contacts met through eBay.
