Ideas #012: 21303 - WALL-E

Featured Replies

Is anyone going in big on these?

Mostly everyone here will go big. It's just that everyone has different times when they will start to accumulate them. For some it's now and for some it's later. Depends on how cheap we can get them. Heck there's even some waiting for the F5 WallE game to start.

My BAM didn't get the message.  They were 4 wide and 5 deep with 39R5 Wall-Es.  They have heard the rumor, but have no instructions to send back.

My cousin in another state said his BAM had plenty, too.

Also, the 39R5 WALL-Es had 28R5 printed on the seals.

This got posted on Reddit this morning.  This is slightly different than the email I got from LEGO Shop at Home when I asked for the Wall-E fix last month.  This seems to hint that there may be another modification to Wall-E in the works.  My email specifically referenced the clutch issue in the neck, and only for North America.

I was in 2 lego stores today. One of them had 1 Wall-E on the shelf, which I bought. The other was pretty well stocked.

Same here one of the LEGO stores near me had a fresh shelf full, that was not there on Tuesday.

I'm thinking the 20 plus I have were a good purchase.

I agree with you, it´s one of the better sellers on ebay now and although prices are not much higher than retail, it could easily double in price before Xmas.

Didn't it previously say - check back in February ?  Why do they bother putting stuff like that up - if it means nothing .

Hilarious. Guess they took less time to fix it than after all. I wonder what that means for the other sets that are TOOS till xxxxx....

Maybe to get resellers to buy up the "bad" ones at retailers...

Shop at home listing for Wall-e now states "out of stock, ships in 30 days"

Will ship in 30 is their auto response to we have no idea. So it's possible they already sold the Feb stock. Or they just have no idea...

How about after TRU entered the fray with a $59.99 + free shipping listing?  Are the sales mostly outside the US?

LEGO® Ideas 21303 WALL•E Availability

Dear LEGO® Fans,

In order to make the LEGO Ideas set 21303 WALL·E as fun as the character in the movie, we created the model with the ability to turn his head all the way around. Since the model has been launched we have received feedback from fans who feel WALL·E’s head moves a bit too freely. Feedback from our fans is very important for us and we’ve decided to take their advice and make some improvements to the set. Our designers are currently working on some small changes to the model. Therefore the LEGO Ideas Set 21303 WALL·E is currently not available at shop.LEGO.com and in some LEGO Stores. Once the reworked version of the model has been finalized LEGO WALL·E will make a full return. For the latest updates on availability, please visit WALL·E on shop.LEGO.com.

If you've already purchased your LEGO Ideas WALL·E:

It is very important to us that fans have a great building and playing experience with all our sets and we appreciate feedback to improve our sets. Our Customer Service can answer questions on existing models and can be reached via LEGO.com/service

If you have any more questions, please contact LEGO Customer Service and let us know if there’s anything we can do to help you further.

Kind regards,

LEGO Ideas Team
