October 17, 201510 yr Is anyone going in big on these? Mostly everyone here will go big. It's just that everyone has different times when they will start to accumulate them. For some it's now and for some it's later. Depends on how cheap we can get them. Heck there's even some waiting for the F5 WallE game to start.
October 18, 201510 yr My BAM didn't get the message. They were 4 wide and 5 deep with 39R5 Wall-Es. They have heard the rumor, but have no instructions to send back. My cousin in another state said his BAM had plenty, too. Also, the 39R5 WALL-Es had 28R5 printed on the seals.
October 18, 201510 yr The WallE I picked up from TRU yesterday had a new 39R5 over the 28R5. The fix?
October 18, 201510 yr This got posted on Reddit this morning. This is slightly different than the email I got from LEGO Shop at Home when I asked for the Wall-E fix last month. This seems to hint that there may be another modification to Wall-E in the works. My email specifically referenced the clutch issue in the neck, and only for North America.
October 18, 201510 yr I was in 2 lego stores today. One of them had 1 Wall-E on the shelf, which I bought. The other was pretty well stocked. Same here one of the LEGO stores near me had a fresh shelf full, that was not there on Tuesday.
October 18, 201510 yr I think they are just replacing a couple pieces from the bad batch. I'm thinking this isn't the full neck mod. Speculation, of course. The two replacement pieces I received are:42116954265484
October 18, 201510 yr I don't think this is the neck mod. When I emailed Lego, they specifically referred to the neck mod. That letter talks about the head swivel, which they've previously dismissed.
October 18, 201510 yr I'm thinking the 20 plus I have were a good purchase.I agree with you, it´s one of the better sellers on ebay now and although prices are not much higher than retail, it could easily double in price before Xmas.
October 19, 201510 yr Didn't it previously say - check back in February ? Why do they bother putting stuff like that up - if it means nothing .
October 19, 201510 yr Hilarious. Guess they took less time to fix it than after all. I wonder what that means for the other sets that are TOOS till xxxxx....
October 19, 201510 yr Didn't it previously say - check back in February ? Why do they bother putting stuff like that up - if it means nothing . Maybe to get resellers to buy up the "bad" ones at retailers...
October 19, 201510 yr Shop at home listing for Wall-e now states "out of stock, ships in 30 days"Will ship in 30 is their auto response to we have no idea. So it's possible they already sold the Feb stock. Or they just have no idea...
October 19, 201510 yr I agree with you, it´s one of the better sellers on ebay now and although prices are not much higher than retail, it could easily double in price before Xmas. How about after TRU entered the fray with a $59.99 + free shipping listing? Are the sales mostly outside the US?
October 19, 201510 yr Officially in the ride on this one... hope it pans out Edited October 19, 201510 yr by tacsniper
October 19, 201510 yr But wall e is fixed again. For now at least. It's like Peyton manning 3 neck surgeries
October 20, 201510 yr Officially in the ride on this one... hope it pans out And here my OCD wants me to turn that one box on the bottom left around to match the rest of them.
