Just noticed that there are only 3 sets per theme on the site, and they do not have half of the new sets for each theme at all. No Dul Guldur battle, Council of Elrond, Laketown, etc. Very weird.

Used, 10179's value is around 1700; over double the money being asked! Seeing as it has left par well behind and is headed for 85 cents US soon, I have to say this is a very good time to be selling into the US market. That's a 15% increase in profit after converting the buyer's US dollars into loonies with no additional work required. Almost makes up for the gap in retail store prices on the 2 sides of the border.

So I am trying to setup shipping portion of my bricklink store and would like to know have any Canadians figure out the best/affordable way to mail out bricks within Canada? I can ship by USPS for all US and International shipments. Seems like the US Dollar is slowly strengthening against the loonie (I was facing a 1.03 exchange rate a couple of months ago and now it's slowly creeped back up to 1.07-1.08). While I welcome this move as it makes it even more profitable selling back to the Americans, it really sucks for us as it's going to be more and more expensive buying Lego from the states and reselling back to Canadians.. *sigh* Thoughts?

Not a big discount but if you plan/want to buy something might as well get $5 off using promo code 5OFF. The best deal I found was Batwing for 20% off CAN retail ($44.95) = $35.96 - $5 off promo = $30.96...add in the tax we're basically paying US price. If you like this set and just buy within CAN market this might be the cheapest price currently. What little margin you can squeeze is important right. And you get Plum pts which add up.
