Just got my 10% back Holiday Rewards via email from TRU for purchases made between 9/8-10/31. Geez, I didn't think I bought so much stuff within that time period! Also, the email had "10% back" in quotation marks. I'm just going to assume that's bad copyediting and not TRU's funny math.

Some of The Hobbit sets were at my local TRU today (the 26th). I was surprised to see them because I thought tomorrow was the official first day for them. They had An Unexpected Gathering (79003)($79.99); Attack of the Wargs (79002)($59.99); and The Goblin King Battle (79010)($119.99). Even though the prices were above MSRP they were having a BOGO 50% on most LEGO and I believe these were included. They also had Gandalf the Grey polybags for $3.99.

I bought a LOTR set today but I bought it online instead of in the store. The reason I bought it online is because in the store they put those stupid spider wraps around the box which dings it up. My question is has anybody ordered online from Toys R Us and we're ok with their packaging? Are the sets they send to you from a store or warehouse.If it was from a store than it probably was spider wrapped. I just want a nice clean box.

Not sure if anyone has had this problem before, but I tried to purchase two Elsa Snow Glow at tru.com with a gift card back in November, and used a gift card. when i checked out, the website took me right back to the Cart page, and no order number was ever generated. To my horror, the exact amount of purchase has been deducted from the gift card. Called customer service and the CSR verified my claim when she looked up the gift card info because there was no transaction attached to the debit. A complaint was opened. Three calls later, they were still "working" on it. Filed a dispute with Better Business Bereau on Dec 7, Toys R Us ignored it and never answered whatsoe…

Now that TRU has dropped many exclusive prices back to MSRP, I'm thinking of using some gift cards to purchase some -- any discount is better than none. I have zero experience with TRU online order shipments. I've seen the pics on this forum and wondered what are people's experiences with the larger sets -- pet shop, town hall, tower bridge, etc...? If I have to return a number of sets to the store multiple times, the gas/time is going to nullify the savings. Also, I know that they tend to fill orders from in-store stock when they can. I recieved my HD replacement from TRU since the original had a big tear in it. The replacement is all taped up, seals broke and bags open. Anyone had a similar experience? Oh.and I have a mini tow truck pancakes for two

Hey guys, Ran across this coupon on another site and wanted to share. I know it sucks to buy at TRU, but 20% off an MSRP set isn't bad. I read all the fine print and it doesn't exclude Lego, however it does exclude sale items. So as long as they aren't doing a stupid "Raise MSRP" BOGO sale or something, this coupon should be good. I was really excited to bring my boys to go to the Lego Movie build today at TRU. I had called ahead a few days ago and asked what to expect. I was told the kids would be building their lego sets in stores and then able to take them home. They usually run out fast, so to expect a line. So I went early with my kids and found there to be no line, nor did one gather (which was just fine with me). But rather than actually have the kids build the sets there, they just handed them a bag and instructions and sent them home. I did not see another message mentioning it so I hope I am not repeating anything. Toys R Us is doing the 25% off of purchases of $100 or more and the small print at the bottom reads "excludes Marvel Super Heros and Lone Ranger Sets". SInce this promo is only good until the 14th it would lead one to believe the Lone Ranger sets will be on shelves any day, if they are not already in places that have higher turnover.

Sunday I went to ToysRus and saw they had the bogo 50% off deal. Saw they had a ton of Batcaves too! They were for $90 though. Today I check the same store for store pickup on the website and it says they have none in stock. Pretty sure with the amount they had, that they didn't sell them all. I will go later tonight, but it seems they removed this product from online inventory probrably during the sale.

Hi I am pretty sure some of us got shot down when price match to Amazon. What they explain to me is the Prime logo next to the price. So it's a membership only price. But for the member that had Prime all knew, that's not the case. What Prime gave us is 2 Day free shipping and video streaming. Does anyone know why TRU is doing that? because what they explanation is wrong. And on TRU.com, they still say they price match Amazon. So, any thoughts how we can still price match to Amazon and argue with them? Since I dont see anything officially release from the TRU Corp.
