Not to derail further off-topic, but can someone point me in the direction of a thread explaining why pricing errors like this occur on Amazon? Does it have something to do with automatic pricing algorithms used by vendors? If Bob Barker taught me anything, it's that buying something for one dollar is ethical as long as it's close to the actual retail price--without going over.

Starting February 1 amazon.com is charging sales tax on orders. I was charged 4.0% on an order delivered to Boulder. I've read about different rates depending on location. I believe state tax is 2.9%. Anyone else that buys stuff from Amazon in Colorado, I would be interested in hearing the rate you were charged. Also the affiliate program from amazon had not been available to people in Colorado for about 4 years and I believe it is now available.

Recently got request of return from one buyer stating the reason for return was "no longer needed/wanted - birthday present already purchased". Initially, I was about to reply and OK with the return but informed the buyer the refund would be minus the shipping cost and he or she would be responsible for return shipping cost. But then I realized the buyer purchased in early Nov 2015 and requested return after almost two months. I found it unreasonable and then cancel the request and indicated that the Lego set can only be returned if wrong item is shipped or defective item. I have a couple sets that I regretfully have to return to Amazon (not a reseller). A couple SW sets came in with the boxes too crushed for me to accept. Should I specify that "the shipping box wasn't damaged but the items were" or just something vague like "no longer want"? Does it matter? Thanks all. Best Regards.

I did not qualify for the toy selling requirements this past holiday season, however their notice on this subject stated that I would be able to resume selling on January 5. It is now the 7th and all of my items are still showing as "Blocked unless FBA". Is anyone else experiencing this? I sent them an inquiry yesterday but haven't heard a peep.

Good Evening, For those who are experienced in selling on Amazon I have an interesting situation which probably happens daily. A few days ago buyer purchased an item and I shipped the item expeditiously. The item is set to arrive on Monday to the address provided by Amazon. The buyer just contacted me twice in a 30 minute period indicating they provided the wrong address and the item will not be delivered because the address is nonexistent. Maybe this will be better suited in the rant section but Amazon feedback frustrates me. I am a new seller on Amazon and I'm finding out the hard way that Amazon is so feedback driven that it hurts new sellers. I'm unable to get into the buy box regardless of the price I set compared to other non-FBA because they have a higher feedback rating. It also seems that it is much harder to get feedback from sellers on Amazon then Ebay. Hello All, I am new to the forums and new to selling on Amazon (FBA). Im not really a lego investor, but have acquired a few sets over the past few years at clearance prices and now i am looking to sell some on Amazon FBA soon. I did some searching on here, Amazon and in google and i cant really seem to find the answer im looking for. How do you prepare your lego sets for shipments to amazon? from what i read i will have to apply an amazon label, but i obviously don't want to stick this right on the actual lego box. i was thinking of wrapping the box in small bubble wrap and then sticking the amazon label on that? would that work? thanks in advance, Sean

I just received an Amazon.de coupon for 10 euros off! This was totally unexpected. I purchased 3 cargo terminals for 77$ I believe. I have ordered from Amazon.fr, es and co.uk before and never received a coupon. Germans are awesome Anyway, I was wondering now that I have this coupon I keep trying to order stuff on Amazon.de now and there is a new charge there for discounted items that wasnt there before for around 25-30 euros depending on what I order totally negating the coupon. So I am having to add the New TIE Fighter Pilot into Amazon from the TIE Advance Prototype (75082) since now one has him up. This is my first time starting a fresh new item. It is showing that it requires me to add a UPC or EAN which I do not have for the minifig. How do people get around this? Any help?

So, I've noticed that Amazon is adding shipping charges to about half of my one-click orders. I have a Prime Account and I've tried both the 2-day and standard shipping option defaults. According to their info page, if you select the standard shipping option and are eligible for free 2-day, it will upgrade for free. But I got charged just last night for standard shipping, so it doesn't seem to care. When I notice it adds it, I've been able to go to the order page and select 2-day shipping for free without any problem -- or select another shipping option and then go back to free 2-day.
