The LEGO Dimensions game is The LEGO Group's first foray into the growing field of “Toys to Life”, where physical toys with RFID tags can be pulled into your gaming experience by placing the toy on a special portal. The gameplay is based on the hugely successful LEGO Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and more, by video game developer TT. LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack I purchased the Starter Pack on Black Friday, and wanted to better understand what I was getting myself into before I started purchasing any of the Level Packs, Team Packs, or Fun Packs. At 30/25/15$ each (respectively) these little purchases will add up quickly. This is why I wanted to understand…

I always feel like LEGO is wasting time and resources investing in unlicensed games. Expect some sets for this release.

This set has been marked down to $7, should I buy? I don't really have much experience in Lego Games, but this sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

I have been intrigued by the Lego Star Wars board game, "The Battle of Hoth". I wonder what other's opinion might be on it's appreciable value. It is not sold in the US due to licensing restrictions. Would this make the set more valuable later on? Has anyone else thought about buying this from overseas to invest in?

A Eurobricks member spotted at the back of the new City Square set's instruction manual an image for a possible future video game without much to go on aside from the "EXPLORE. DISCOVER. CREATE." top caption and an image reminiscent of the classic PC LEGO titles. Let's see, a sprawling digital realm where you can build and create without limitation to your hearts content. ....So basically it's Minecraft but with LEGO bricks. Source: Brickset

I recently purchased from Target and then built the City Alarm game. I must say it's simply fun! The rules take very little time to get used to and the fact you can 'alter' certain ones for different play mechanics keeps it interesting for quite a while. I also like Frog Rush and all the Heroica sets too. (Those are really cool when you have all of them connected together for one BIG map!) I really like how even though you are playing against one another, there really isn't that 'competitive' edge. I don't know, I just don't have that 'you lose, I win, Haha!' feeling that I have with other games. So I was wondering if anybody else likes these tabletop games that Lego com…

Anyone else excited about the new Lego: Avengers video game that comes out next week?! Don't forget to preorder it at Game Stop -- they are giving away an exclusive Iron Man Silver Centurion Mark III minifig with pre-order! My question is - does anyone know how many of these they are making? Is there a typical number when giving them away with pre-orders? Thanks, Yoda

"It seems as though Warner Bros and LEGO could well be bringing out their own toys-to-life title to compete against Disney Infinity, Skylanders, and amiibo. The game is rumoured to be in development at Travellers Tales and is due for release sometime later this year. LEGO is an extremely lucrative brand so this should provide some real competition to what

This remastered edition will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Also for anyone curious the very retrowave track used is from Lazerhawk's Redline album, "Electric Groove".
