I am trying to decide whether buying Amazon sales is worth it. I see two, maybe three choices. 1. Wait and hope to find the set for sale at Walmart/Meijer/Target.(When I am saying this I am not counting a 40%+ clearance, that to me is a pretty much automatic buy if it is a set I like) 2. Get the set when Lego is doing a promotion(The automatic 5% from ViP points does matter). 3. Get the set when Amazon puts it on sale.(Normally 20% is what you can get) Which choice is the best? I understand that deals like the 60 years of the brick aren't common. I also assume I would hit free shipping on either SaH or Amazon. Thanks!

Short and to the point, I have one end of a trans bar (lightsaber blade piece) stuck in a single stud clip and the bar will not come out let alone budge. The end is not far in at all yet seems to be caught in a sort of vacuum and will not move which doesn't help considering there really isn't much to grab on to because it's a bar. I tried doing a search for "lego part stuck" and almost all articles are about kids' noses. I've never really had a LEGO piece clutch this strongly before and would like to save both pieces if possible. If anyone has some advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Back in my younger days I was a huge lego collector and fortunately I have stored each of my sets with their original instructions. A friend of mine brought it to my attention that a lot of my Star Wars set are probably worth something. I've been doing some research and it looks like most of my sets have seen a price increase since when I purchased them. Now most of my sets had been purchased between the years of 2004-2011. My question is when should I sell these sets? Have their prices plateaued or are they going to continue to increase? Will their prices decrease if I hold on to them too long? I would love to hear from some input from more experienced lego sellers!

Need help on identifying the differences b/w these two green goblin. The one with gold eye and the another without. Is there any other different point beside the eyes? I'm kind of thinking that the color looks different (one is of darker shade than the other). << Or is it just my eye doing some trick with me 1. http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Green_Goblin?file=Greengob.png 2. http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Green_Goblin?file=Gob2002.png

Am I missing something obvious, I used to be able to check if my local Lego Store has a set in stock but just in the last few days, I am no longer able to do this... I've checked on multiple computers and my phone and still can't find the option to do it? Is this new or just me?

Hi all, I picked up a 10143 Death Star II open box but with the 4 inner boxes sealed, inside the open box was the following: 4 Inner Boxes, Instruction Book A cardboard divider that looks like it is supposed to hold the instruction book. I have received conficting information as to where the sticker sheet is supposed to be. Some have said it is inside the outer box but outside the inner boxes. Others have said it is inside the inner boxes. Also does anyone know where good info on a bag count for this set would be? Information is rather lacking on a set of this age. Thanks!

For the past year or so, I've been shipping from different post offices, depending on what I'm doing at work on that day. Most of the time I don't have any problems, I search for the best deal for shipping my items, print the label, whack it on the box and drop at the most convenient post office. Item sells yesterday to a Greek buyer, printed the label through PayPal at £15. I entered the weight and dimensions as usual, calculated cost, bought shipping, no problems arise. Fast forward to this morning, dropping box of at a place I'd used before but normally avoid as I had a few problems with them in the past. Usual smiley looking c***head watches me coming to th…

I have a Lego set that was distributed to certain employees of a company 5 or so years ago. I own one, and am aware of one other set. I have looked it up and there are no photos or pictures of it online. Has anyone seen this Lego set before? On the side, it reads that it is a Lego Certified Professional set by Adam Reed Tucker. On the front, the set number is '3333'. The set also has quite a few custom printed bricks officially from lego. Would this set be worth anything? I can send photos if it would help. Thank you, C

I acquired a large bin of vintage Legos from the original owner. They are mostly in good condition. I've sorted by color and identified just a few sets. (Wibdmill 362 , 6075 castle, old 300 series road plates, 590 engine, 580 brickyard, 382 breakdown truck) Have much more to do. Not sure I have it in me to patiently build everything. Thinking about selling as is...see it two ways: Gamble on an eBay auction? (But I always like BIN.) or sell off figures, plates, specialty pieces on eBay? Then rid myself of bulk on CL? Thoughts, advice appreciated! Exxon station also in there. Probably 25 lbs total.

I recently purchased a large store display and on the back there is a place where I can plug in a 5V AC Power Adapter. However, I'm having troubles actually finding the right type of adapter that fits the plug. Before I go out and buy something, could someone point me in the right direction on the type of Power Adapter that typically works for these larger Store Display's.

I'm new to this site, so a big hello from Oregon. I have been buying Lego sets new for the past ten years or so. I purchase them for display. I know they have value so this site is very interesting on that level. Anyway, I have saved all of the boxes that the sets came in (modulars, trains, winter village). The question is do these boxes have any value so that I should keep them, or should I just save the space and recycle them?

I sold a sealed 75103 First Order Transporter and buyer that claims that it's missing Captain Plasma's helmet and one of the Flametrooper helmets. I bought that set and several other duplicates from the retail shelf of Walmart or Target. They looked pretty minty with no signs of pilfering. Buyer doesn't complain of open set bags or loose pieces or broken set seals. Anyone have a similar missing parts issue with this kit or kits made in the era of 2015-16? On a personal note, any time I've been "missing pieces" it's because I built the model wrong but it's hard to build a helmet wrong. lol

I'm pretty new at this and I'm trying to understand, why have certain current sets decreased in value over the past year? And is this indicative of their future, post-retirement performance? I know they're not going to increase while they're still available, but some of them seem to have dropped quite a bit. E.g. http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=75094-1 http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=75102-1

Hi new here - just joined today I have, what I consider to be, a large collection of Lego. It is all currently separated by brick type and few other bits of sorting. I have many instruction books but no original boxes. The big ticket items are the city airport with two planes and runways. I estimate approximately 30 models in total. My question is it better to build each model and try to sell them separately, join a few similar models together and try to sell as a package, or sell the whole lot as a job lot (loose)? I’d welcome your views Thanks
