  1. Started by LegoMan1212,

What do you guys do with these? Are they even worth anything or can they be cleaned? Right now when I go through bulk stuff, I try to pull these out so that they are not included in anything as to my eyes these are no better than megablok as the color is distorted. I have about 30-40 castle wall pieces that are clearly distorted or some ugly grayish color.

  2. Hey guys, I picked up a really nice used 10024 Red Baron set for a great price, but as you can imagine most of the decals are starting to flake off. What is the best method to remove them completely from the bricks without leaving residue, scratching the plastic or causing discoloration? I'd like to put some replacement decals on and display this piece next to my Sopwith Camel sets. Thanks.

Hi, I'm new to this site and I was wondering if anyone could please tell me the significance of the items that are listed on the stock tracker page and why only those particular sets are on there? Thanks

  6. Local LEGO Store added some Halloween themed pieces to the build-a-minifigure bins over the past week. Bats Jack-o-lantern Heads Brooms Heads, Torsos, and Legs below... There was a witch hat hair that I didn’t get this time- had to get extra Jack-o-Lanterns... basically the witch top from CMF line but colored with tan tap and orangish hair... The Vampyre Torso is done in purple. This appears as a new print. Old version was done in maroon. The Bride Toros and Dress is printed in Fuchsia. Old version was done in red...

Hello, Can someone explain to me what is truly meant by a LEGO 'exclusive'? If I'm on LEGO online and I do a search on the Exclusive category, I see many sets that are also sold at Amazon, Target, etc. Why are these sets called LEGO exclusives when other retailers sell them? Thanks

I've got some old sets I'm prepping for sale. A couple of them include the Lego cloth material (got a couple pirate ship sails, the little tent from that Adventurers Sphinx set etc). They're well used, crinkled, dusty etc. So I've got 2 questions here... 1. What's the best way to remove the dust from this somewhat porous cloth material? Laundry? Hand wash and dry? Packing tape/lint roller? 2. Has anyone ever tried to iron this material to it's original flat state that it ships in? Is there a safer method? Thanks team!

  10. HI all My name is Luke and I'm a Finance student at the University of Cape Town in South Africa doing a project on LEGO as an alternative investment. I am trying to paint an accurate picture of LEGO investing and I want to try get a better understanding of the sets that have earned satisfactory returns over the years rather than just the best and worst performers. Would really appreciate it if someone could help me find a few sets that fit this description. Thanks a lot

Hi all, I live in Canada and I have some people who want to buy LEGO from me but they are outside Canada. They are in Indonesia as a matter of fact. Can I have some tips on the cheapest and yet safest shipping so that the items will still be in great conditions (box not damaged). Or if you have any other tips in shipping method would be great. thanks in advance

On clearing out the loft of my mothers old house I came across a vast amount of old LEGO some of which is nearly sixty years old. I do not want to use E Bay but can any one tell me its value and how best to sell it? Do I have to photo every box and piece?

Hi Guys Anybody got any experience or advice on this, one of the pieces of armour has been printed with grey instead of red, as far as I can make out this is extremely rare? and will therefore make it much sought after? any information greatly received. Thanks

Just bought a box bulk of Lego pieces at Toys R Us for 90% off. It's just a bunch of different pieces, not from specific sets. Employee said it's from February 2017 event? I guess it's from those kids event they host every month or so. I have no idea what price to list them at. they are 18 and 14 pounds of legos.

Hi, I would like to get the expert knowledge of the BP'er on the random bags in the photos. Lots of grey pieces, no instructions though. First came to mind is Star Wars, or could it be modular - fire brigade? Thanks in advance.

In searching this site for 6848, the results that come back are puzzling. The picture in the results does not match the picture on the box. Also, the number of pieces differs. I have the original box from 1985. Total pieces equals 50. It is called Interplanetary Shuttle. Picture attached. I paged through the Space category and did not find my item. Any ideas? Thank you.

  25. Started by LegoMan1212,

I want to say about a month ago or so there was a video within a topic where a person went through how to make their baseplate modulars (if that's what they are called). It was quite in depth and I believe involved a 32 x 32 baseplate, then putting on 2 x 2 bricks and 4 x 4 plates on top of them so you can change things out fairly easily. I know how to make them but just want to watch the video again as I select the colors that I would ultimately want along with any special plates that I may want to add to an order. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please shoot me the link of the youtube video or link to the discussion that had the video within it. Thanks for you…
