Correct. It is perfectly made to fit on a Med flat rate box. $10.65 if you print through eBay.

I always have a bunch of flat rate boxes, mainly to ship used sets.

The kits supplied by Lego don't address the swinging neck though, only the droopy head?  Wells that's what CS just told me

As the 'droopy head problem' doesn't effect the EU sets and the swinging head is part of the design they said they couldn't supply kits to me.

Did this problem cause any returns? As a customer, I wouldn't be happy of buying a lego set with flaw.

Not an issue that LEGO will be releasing any updates for. Plenty of people are unhappy with the design though.

I built it yesterday and I am stunned this got through QA. The design of the neck is horrendous.  I am going with the McVeigh fix but I will probably Bricklink it myself next time I am building an order. 

Yes, I does seem that quality control is not what it once was.  I got no less than 30 bricks that cracked in a 31026 I bought and the light blue bricks tend to be inconsistent in colour tone. They did agree to replace the bricks,  but I've heard they don't like it of you keep complaining.  

I just got a SW  shadow stormtromper with a split in the torso, ffs. Ha bent told TLG customer service yet

Does anyone have the parts list on how to motorize wall-e? I already saw the video of ppung daddy but I'm not sure if I was able to identify all of it especially the cables.

If you screen capture some parts of the video after building it, you should get a pretty good idea.  I just haven't built the Wall-E we own yet. This MOC stores in the battery in the trash compartment behind the Wall-e logo.

So why LEGO shipping these 2 items to us again?

Lego says these two parts were from a defective  batch.  Honestly, I don't see how replacing these 2 parts will help.  Too much weight to support for the parts' sizes.

i finished the build review.  just need to get the pictures ready.  here is a sneak peak of the motorized Wall-E i built.

hiding the PF cables was the main challenge. 

another obstacle was the torque generated by the 2 PF 8883 M-Motors.  the "Cross Axle 4M" that connects the 8883 and track assembly tends to get separated (that side stops moving).

update:  yeah, the dog wouldn't leave Wall-E alone and demanded a cameo.
