    I do not want to throw oil on the fire here. But my guess and hunch is the following: All Star Wars sets without the Disney Logo will have either a new box design or will retire by the end of the year

    Agreed. I think people are way over-thinking this. The Xwing and EV are the next to go by age. We see out of stock frequently on these sets, because regular customers and resellers focus on the oldest

Sandcrawler is "Under Review" on Amazon.

Remind me what that means?  I remember EV hitting that status before, and I believe the ToO hit it, right?  Usually right before it goes, right?

    It means Amazon doesn't know how to ship it. They're holding inventory hostage until they figure it out... Almost every large set gets this message some more often than others.

    Yeah they're probably getting too many return or partial credit requests for this item due to it arriving damaged.  They put sales on hold onto they address the issue, or not.

    I could definitely understand it.  That box is the same size as the death stars, and if they dont' have an interior box for it, i'd expect it to get damaged.  The only one I have was a damaged box version, so I think that's common with these sets.

    The figuring-it-out part involves some genius saying, "Hey, maybe we shouldn't be shipping these large, expensive, collectible sets in bags.  Like, let's use a shipping box or something."

    Doing out of Stock Calendars is going to be a challenge, thanks to 2XVIP month.  Looks like Tydirium Shuttle and Imperial Star Destroyer are the latest causalities.  I can't recall the ISD being OOS.  It's been at "available now" ever since I started taking tabs on these..

    I think it's the end for one more set.  A 2014 winter wave set that already had a few sets retired like the vulture droid, and v-wing.  There's so much changes almost hourly at this rate, it's hard to keep up with them all.

    I noticed that Amazon put the price on this back up to retail. It's no longer being discounted anywhere online as far as I can tell, and is sold out on Walmart's site.
