I purchased a Sopwith from amazon on 2/21/14 and the box was beat up but I was going to build it so opened it up and all of the dark green studded elements had white dots on them. They sent me a replacement and I built it this weekend but it had the same issue I tried to cover the white dots the best I could. So today in the daily deals thread I see that amazon has pulled the Sopwith as "item under review". I contacted amazon and they offered a full refund as they do not have any replacements. Now to the good part, I purchased a Sopwith Saturday at the Lego store at the Christiana mall they had a lot in stock after not having any for a few months to get the MM poly …

For all of you (including myself) that have been hoarding multiple Fire Brigade's for the past 3 or 4 years, waiting for this 4th modualr to retire, but have come to terms with reality that it might be 2020 before it goes EOL, there is hope. You can open up a few of your 10197's that are just collecting dust on the shelf and build this, check it out! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=406569

I am seriously starting to consider buying modulars (strictly building, not investing). When I first got back into lego about 7 months ago, I decided that I did not want to build the big modulars and was set on getting only smaller creator 3 in 1 buildings for a small city scape. I should have known that would not last. Fast Forward 7 months and I have gone somewhat hog wild with some of the bigger UCS SW sets, fairground sets, and a couple retired winter village sets, bike shop, and some of the retired houses. I have put the small city scape on hold and packed up all the ones I already built. I will be moving at the end of 2017 and did not want to put time into building …

I was wondering if anyone had a large quantity of these sets they would be willing to sell. I'm in the Marines and my unit flies the military equivalent of these aircraft (V22 Osprey). We had been selling them as a fundraiser to help pay for things such as the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. Our supply is almost out and I am struggling to find them now in large quantities. Thanks in advance.

Brickset just announced the release of two new sets: "Racing car and truck" and "Monkey and parrot". Do you like these sets?

Hi, Was just moving my collection and noticed that of the 3 x 10220 sets I have (all sealed), 2 of them say 1334 pieces and the other says 1332 pieces. Anyone know what the differences are? It's not a worry, but more of a curiosity. There are very minor differences to the boxes - I'm guessing one was produced in USA/Mexico and the others in Europe. 2 were bought from Lego online shop and 1 from their physical store. thanks.

Did I get a deal or should I have waited for a better deal.. I figured since Friday Volkswagen will no longer be producing these in real life any more so I thought that would help the popularity even more.....

Im looking for Ideas for my next MOC Modular Building, i want to build something that is fun and interesting, but i dont want to put all that time and money into it and then have Lego release a similar type of build. Example, i was in the process of designing a theater last year and then they released the Cinema...guh! Vote for what you think is cool and lego probably wont ever make. Also feel free to post other ideas. Church - Im sure they will avoid religion, would be a fun design Pharmacy - Would make for a nice ground floor shop with an apartment above Bank - Would be cool to build a bank vault but i feel there is a chance lego might make this Butcher Shop - …

With rumours abound of at least one of these Creator Expert vehicles going to retire this year (2017), which one do you expect to finally make it's way to the LEGO Sets Retirement Home?
