Even if Lego did release this as a set, the building techniques are way to advanced!

PLEASE keep in mind while reading I'm HIGHLY medicated for a couple weeks till we find a right dose. As a lot of you know I have nothing but time on my hands, My girlfriend bought me an HO scale train set. so I'm gonna start building a layout using my Lego builds. I know I'm gonna have a Star Wars spot using the mini's. I'm also gonna build a town (or something) around my mini mod. Guess I'm looking for ideas on what to use please. I was also wondering if the Lego builds you can download from apps are worth anything? I look forward to your opinions. You have all helped me out on all my other stupid questions and I'm sure I'll have many more. Thank you all

If anyone is in the market for a 128gb 4th Gen iPad with 4G, these guys are selling them for $599. I guess these are usually $800-$900.

Today I opened up an excavator technic set to build, and there were 2 Martian Manhunters in there instead of one! Anyone else ever gotten an extra freebie? It feels great it's like an additional $15 off the set.

Mega Bloks TMNT at the New York Comic-Con. It looks as though they plan on tackling the original cartoon style plus the latest running one for Nickelodeon and some 'Half Shells' offshoot similar to LEGO's DUPLO for young children I guess.

I surf the interwebs and from time to time come across sites that have nothing to do with LEGO writing articles. Some are good articles but the majority of them make me laugh. I don't really have a problem with sites writing LEGO related articles but a little homework on the subject would be nice. I'm not gonna call out sites that do this, I'm sure most of y'all have come across some of these articles I'm talking about. The USA TODAY article was an example of a good article, Matt did a wonderful job researching the topic before writing the article, which was a feat in itself considering if was during the height of election year.

I believe I remember somebody saying how neat it would be if Lego mixed Friends together with Monster Fighters. Well unfortunately this is not Lego but could very well be the next best thing or more like a second best I guess. All I can say is I'm afraid to see how many epileptic seizures these things induce from all those lights. Toys R Us seems to be a seller of these at the moment if you're curious. This was lumped in there so whatever.

Has anyone seen these before. It is six stickers in a pack. The stickers are not your traditional stickers, they are about 1/4 inch thick. Seems to be three different sets, most in city characters. Are they new or just resurrected out of the dungeons of Targets backroom. ? what are they used for?

I know that LEGO investing does not really give you the chance to really open the boxes and dump pieces all over the place, but I am sure that there are plenty of you here that still have many open sets and kids that love their sets. I saw the following product on TV and thought it was a very good idea, especially for the kids. A very simple way to allow everyone to play, but is great for very quick clean up. So, maybe you have not seen this and can find some use for some storage and easy access for building fun. Lay-n-Go Original Activity Mat Lay-n-Go Lite Travel/Mini Activity Mat

We just won a family gold ticket to the exclusive pre opening of the Belgium Lego store. It is the day before the store actually opens on the 26th. Anyone ever been to one of these events? Any idea what we can expect?

Having been to Japan recently I took some of my LEGO Star Wars Minifigs with me as lucky charms ;-) Of course we took some pictures! Maybe some of you like the idea so I'm sharing it here. Maybe you got your own pictures to post here as well!

I got all of this from a friend at church last Sunday and forgot to share. I only had $6 on me at the time, and he accepted it, although I offered to give him more the next time I saw him. I priced it all at minimum on BL and came up with a figure of $77... An den of sinners indeed!

Has Lego come out with anything other than the train/technic/mindstorm series that have had any type of electronic moving parts? Im sort of looking for sets that are remote controlled but are proportionate to the standard Lego size sets. Technic sets look huge and the remote control trains I already know about.

Hi, I have an existing shelving unit in my basement that will be used for my Lego sets. Please see attached picture of a similar one, I store each set vertically and in a basic checkout Target, Walmart, etc... bag for dust protection. The bags also help protect from scuffs when gently sliding sets in and out. One question I have is for those with a similar inventory setup, what do you use on the ends on each self? Do you use a bookend type of object? I currently use a set in a shipping box on each end. I then place a small but sturdy object (e.g. actual bookends).

I hope this is the correct forum for me to post this in. I am in search of 3 Los Angeles based Lego Enthusiasts/Builders for a video project I'm working on. The final video would be featured on a new website Legos is launching soon. What's in it for you? Free Legos, a little cash, and possible internet fame!! If interested please PM me for more info. Thanks! -Marcus
