Target Store/Online

So the question is whether the 5% applies to the total or after the gift card total? I see some people mentioned that it applies to the gross total online but after the gift card total in store but people generally states redcard but doesn't say whether it is credit or debit. I'm thinking about whether to apply for a card so if credit does the 5% online and debit doesn't, I'll go with credit. If both does it, then I'll go with debit. Thanks.

Has anyone ever been denied a price match at Target bc the ORIGINAL PRICE of the item at both stores didnt match? I just was but as far as i read that requirement is listed no where in the policy, its never been an issue before, and it makes no sense as the prices are rarely the same. Soooooooo frustrating!

I just want to arm myself with some experience before I go in and do this. My wife purchased 10x Emma Horse Trailers during the 20% off sale. She did not use my RedCard and the added 5% off. It's only $10.00 plus another $1.00 in savings, but I go there 1x a week, so no big deal for the effort. Can I bring them all back in, return them and then repurchase them with my RedCard right at customer service? Or would I be able to just bring in the receipt and explain myself to the customer service rep and not have to bring in the product. Or do they just not do this kind of thing? An interesting predicament just confronted me. So I ordered 5 Orc Forges on the 20% off target.com deal, and they arrived yesterday. It was a perfect order, all boxes were in great condition. So today I get home, walk by the front door, and what do I see? Another target box. 5 More Orc Forges. What do I do? Report it to Target.com?

According to the Target website, my local store is suppose to have series 6 of the collectable minifigs. I went there last week and couldn't find any. I was in a hurry so I didn't ask anyone. Is it possible that they are in the back or something or is the online inventory tracking wrong? Anyone have any experience with the online inventory tracker showing something in stock and when you get to the store they don't have that item?

I was in a local Target today and found a Star Wars Republic Gunship behind some other sets. I know this was on clearance earlier this summer so I grabbed it and took it to a price scanner. When I scanned it no price came up and it said to talk to customer service. I should have just went and talked to someone, but I put it back so I can ask on here if anyone has had this happen before. Depending on what they say, can you try and get a better price since they don't carry this set in store anymore, or will they tell you a price that is firm? Not a big deal as the set will be for my personal collection, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks.

Anyone got plans to use the 20% off coupon that target was giving out yesterday? My local store will only apply the coupon before a PM so not too useful but I did note 79006 is 25.99 which comes to 19.75 with red card before tax (34% off). Does this sound good enough to bite or do you guys expect this set will be had for lower down the line? Anyone know of any better lego deals with this coupon?

In follow up to my previous post and in hopes the discussion will not degrade into another play on acronyms for bodily functions, I share with you folks my experience this week with the coupon. As I said before, the targets around me are adamant about applying any coupons before any price matching which of course renders them useless. However I found that if you have several other items to purchase, have customer service ring you up for the whole lot, and spring the coupon on them at the last second, they forget about the price match policy and just take the coupon to avoid having to do the whole thing over. I got the email to preview the black friday ad. The only lego item I saw featured in the ad was the Lego City 4440, Forest Station. On sale for the deal of the century! Only $50, down from the original retail price of $56.99! Go Black Friday Go! /end sarcasm. Black Friday is going to suck this year. I think the best deals are going on now, and maybe early to mid December. I don't even know if I'm gonna go out for BF and just save my money for Amazon's cyber monday deals.

So I buy a lot of 2nd hand gift cards through sites like Raise. For Target cards, I have 3 physical cards purchased by me that I always combine my new gift cards into. This way I feel secure that I am the only one who has the gift card number and the access number and only I will be able to use the cards. Today I discovered that 2 of my cards were in force closed status. Many People are finding the witch polybag for 50% off (2.49) and the Umbaran MHC Star Wars Poly Bag for 1.99 in Target Halloweeen Clearance. I passed earlier and now I am wondering if we should go round some up. Figured the witch wasnt that appealing and would not be too popular year round thought the MHC was a joke of a set. Besides eBAY, Amazon and Toys R Us, Target has an excellent Lego section. They always have awesome Lego store displays(like that neat Darth Vader one) and if you use a Target credit card, you get an additional 5% off your purchase. Not a bad deal.

The Sale is in Store Only, and the Sale is really a joke, but I did take the Sale Sticker and took it to TOYS R US, so they matched the $89.99 for the Vampire Castle, plus I had $15 in coupons, So I got the Castle for $79.00.
