HI All, Just joined yesterday and was introduced by a fellow Lego fans from lowyat.net forum. However I got some issue as currently I have already updated my brickfolio and yet it is not reflecting in the badge... I have about 116 sets inside my brickfolio and yet my signature is still showing 19 sets... no idea why as I updated it since yesterday local time... Hope someone can help me on this...

    Started by Guest,

Just getting started in the Lego world. I have been picking and collecting toys for several years but recently began learning about Lego from my brother-in-law and friends. Excited about the new Lego store in STL! Loved Lego as a kid and I am enjoying getting back to the excitement of the bricks with my much older friends now :-)

Hey y'all! My name is Clint and I am a lifelong fan of LEGO. I stumbled upon this site while trying to convince my girlfriend that I could turn a hobby into a potential business. Lo and behold, she has already started helping me speculate on sets! (She's pretty awesome!) Anyway, the site has already been a great source of information and help in getting me on my way to a investment collection. I think it is great how everyone on here seems to be open and supportive about deals and such. I hope to contribute as I can as well. Happy Holidays to everyone! See ya 'round the Forums! - Clint

Hello all, I loved to build lego during my primary school time and recently picked the hobby back since my 5 yo daughter started collecting her friends collections. In Malaysia, there are just a few online resellers and I would like to know if there's anyone of you from Malaysia who's interested to setup an online store + social collaboration + collection showcase web site. I am a web developer who knows how to build an eCommerce website with social integration such as utilizing Facebook accounts. You may take a look at my recently launched project for my wife's beauty group - http://BEAUPROS.com (something like a smaller scale of LinkedIn for beauty professi…

Hi, I'm new to Brickpicker. I'm started buying lego sets since 2012. Currently I owned only 17 sets, mainly on Star Wars & Galaxy Squad series. Only 2 sets from City Mining series. I may be late in this hobby but I found that 2012 onwards lego sets incorporate unique design and quality which is why I'm just starting my collection. Looking forward to 2014 sets in building series, city police, star wars, galaxy squad(not sure new sets is coming or not). Lego sets in Malaysia cost double the price in Lego shop online which did not ship to malaysia. Anyone can recommend any online shop which ship to malaysia is very much appreciate. Thanks, will share more post in future.

Hi everyone, My name is Jeff. I have been registered here for probably over a year, but I've just been lurking until now... I have been buying and selling lego for many years but mostly just catching things on clearance and flipping them. It's only been in the last year or so that I have been more deliberate/strategic in my buying. I am trying to enter the buy/hold game but it is challenging tying up lots of $$ when you have a mortgage, kids, etc... Anyway, I love lego and I like to collect also. (it's hard letting go of sets sometimes..). This is a GREAT site and I appreciate all the advice, tips that are available here. -Jeff

  9. Started by Batch,

Hello everyone! Batch here from Italy! I'm 37, and I've always been a lego fan until I became adult. I am a software engineer and I travel a lot for my work. Once, while in Scotland u found under my bed in hotel a minifigure and my interest in lego reappeared! I consider myself an investor, but I don't dislike buying some sets now and then for myself to enjoy building something new in my spare time. Thanks for reading! Have a nice day!!!

Hi all, Just started using the forums on this site - what a wealth of information. Really looking forward to using this site more. I have a question - is there anyway of knowing what month the data is based on? i.e - how do you know when the data is updated for the new month. Thanks

  14. Sorry if my English is not very good, my native language is Spanish. I think very good page, it is a shame that in my country is it so hard to get lego products.

  15. Started by Legodog,

After a 6+ month absence I am finally back to LEGO investing and back on the BP site. It's nice to see how well the site is doing. I just have one question. I am sure it has been asked a bunch of times but I haven't been able to find any info on it that doesn't seem outdated. How do I get my badge (collection summary) in my signature. It used to be there but with all the changes since last time I posted it doesn't show anymore. Also the setting to display it in your signature no longer exists on the "Promote Brickpicker.com" page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Again sorry to post something so silly that I am sure has been answered before.

Have been reading and enjoying all the info on this site for a few days now. I have been a big Star Wars and Sci Fi fan for a long time. I own a few SW and Alien Conquest sets and may pick up some Monster Fighters as well. I also want to introduce my son to Lego (although I may go broke in the process). I enjoy all the info here.

Greetings from NC. Long time technic builder slowly starting to invest. Made my first big purchases this week. 5 monster vamp castles from the tru sale and a Unimog, VW, and Sopwith for triple points today. I even found a 75021 Republic Gunship nib on craigslist for $60! Kind of went crazy this first week, time to ease off and start reading this amazing website.

Just thought i would say hello as will be around a fair bit from now on.. I have recently started collecting mini figures and the odd thing i see that i like made from lego... not into this investing stuff tbh as i think toys are there to be played with and couldnt bring myself to have boxes of lego sitting about not opened or played with.... Since starting my research on mini figures it amazes me how much some are worth.... i have about 50 mini figures now from various sets ( harry potter / indiana jones etc) but ive got a thing for marvel at the minute... as well as collecting the series minifigs.. its amazingly addictive i have to admit.. …

So happy to have found this site. I am a mid forty year old parent from Perth who rekindled a childhood obsession with lego thanks to my young son. Now we are knee deep in bricks and I've started collecting sets like mad for investment and to play. Have the majority of the Indiana Jones Theme, some Star Wars UCS and the odd Batman set. About to buy the Tower Bridge to build at xmas (as you do), might try and beat the Guiness Book of Records build time with my wife if she can stop telling me I am a big kid! Anyway hello to all and look forward to reading posts here, lego rocks and cheers to all the wonderful creative people here who sit sort and join bricks for e…

Hey everyone. I'm new to the site. I'm from NY. I got out of my dark ages about a year ago. I mostly collect and deal with pirates and castle themes. I prefer the history sets. I'm also on Eurobricks, but thought this would be a good site to be on too.

Attracted by this site and amazed at how informative it is. Trying to take advantage of the investment opportunities as well as to pickup some childhood memory of playing lego (and purchase set that was too expensive to buy before).
