Hi, I'm new in this "lego world". Also english isn't my birth language, so don't mind my writing mistakes It's simple, i want to increase my bank account and lego is, at the moment, profitable more than gold or anything. So i check some infos, and this site seems to be the good place to start ! I bought my first 2 set kit today, finger crossed the value will expand during this year. I didn't find the topic where you can see values of differents set kit, so if someone can show me where, it will be so nice Good sunday to everyone ! May the lego be with you !

Hey all, my name is Chris and this is my first post to the forum. I am seeking advice from the collective on suggestions on the best avenues to get LEGO Sets and Minifigs for lower costs (I know right, i'm sure no one is ever looking for that). I have only ever bought from Amazon, LEGO.com, and major retailers and I am sure there are some better ways out there. Recently my collection of LEGO was taken in the Colorado fires, so I am looking to rebuild, but obviously there is a price tag to that. Any little tips and tricks is appreciated. Thanks, Chris

I have 12 Lego "expert" building kits I would like to sell. I have the kit numbers (10251, 10243, 10255, 10260, 10278, 10246, 10270, 10182, 10185, 10211, 10224, 10197). Are any of these worth more than I paid for them? What is the best way to sell them? I only have boxes for about half, but have instructions and bricks for all. I am in the process of rebuilding them to show potential buyer(s) all the bricks are there.

Hi all, I retrieved my vintage Lego collection from my mom's house over the summer and now I'm hooked again lol. More on that later, but first here's my Lego investing story... I made a (small) fortune flipping Lego in 2006. I basically found a UK discount store (Poundstretcher) had a massive shelf of the smaller 2002 Star Wars sets. I bought about £150 worth and sold them on eBay in 2009 for around 5x what I paid for them! It does kind of suck that had I held onto them they're now worth around 10x what I paid for them. Hello, I'm after some advice please. I have recently found an old Lego Technic C-3PO (set 8007) that I am looking to sell. I'm not a collector and I just want to pass it on to someone who will keep/enjoy it. It is sealed, never been opened. The box is intact but is a little misshapen from storage. It was purchased from Osborne's Sports & Toys (the first UK toy shop to sign up as a Lego stockist http://www.osbornes-rushden.co.uk/lego-60/ - no relevance but a nice bit of backstory) when I worked there as a Saturday girl. Hello everyone, I just signed up here today and still trying to figure it out. I got into Lego after being diagnosed with Huntingtons Disease. It's a great way to keep my mind off how I am changing and what's in store for me. I'm slowly getting my sets out to display them and I'll add photos. I'm obviously on a fixed income (disability) and can't afford the really big sets. I get a few a month and enjoy every build. I'm new and just started my research into a possible Lego hobby. My interest is architectural MOC, so what I'm looking at seems complicated and overpowering. Hello fellow Pickers, My name is Margo Lane. I am not a bricker, I am a widow... with a treasure trove! I have some really nice, really old lego sets from the 1970s and 80s that are I think rare in this condition. Like New in the Box with instructions. I would like to begin to post pictures however there are literally hundreds of sets to photograph and catalog which will take a deal of time. Hello. I (as most others here I'm sure) was into Lego in my youth. Over the past couple years I've been picking up sets when I found them discounted for my growing children. My older boys (now 7 & 9) are really into Ninjago (please let me know if someone has the Nightcrawler 70641), Star Wars, Avengers, etc. My younger girls are into Duplo with my 5 year old getting into other standard Lego sets recently like the Friends series and of course the Frozen sets I've given her. Hi everyone, I resell mostly SW sets (because it's the area I know most about) as a hobby. I use the income to fund my own lego purchases. I also design mocs for fun. Been checking out Brickpicker for a long time and while I'm not at the level of volume or dedication as many of you I do my best to make the most level headed decisions about my purchases - for resale that is - for personal use all logic is out the window! Glad to be here and to continue to learn the best methods to increase my margins!

Hi Everyone! I'm a new user in this site, and it seems like a really great place! I wanted to introduce myself! I have been a big fan of Lego since childhood. My favorite themes are Star Wars, Ideas and City. Some time ago I started making MOCs. My first big-scale MOC, is a science-themed model of the DNA structure, as well as the history of its discovery.
