Just got my 10% back Holiday Rewards via email from TRU for purchases made between 9/8-10/31. Geez, I didn't think I bought so much stuff within that time period! Also, the email had "10% back" in quotation marks. I'm just going to assume that's bad copyediting and not TRU's funny math.

TRU has a 15% off promo going from 8/11 to 8/17. It includes all lego sets except for sale items (those with a list price crossed out and another price above it) and this sale includes hard to find items. The promo code is EXTRA15. Note that it is very likely that your online purchase when entered will not honor the discount. But if you call TRU at the time you are ready to place the order, they will process it correctly. Just got an email with a 20% off your next toy purchase read all the fine print it does say excludes hard to find. But doesn't say it is just for one item and not sure if it stacks with current lego sale. Anyone else get one?

Hey guys, Ran across this coupon on another site and wanted to share. I know it sucks to buy at TRU, but 20% off an MSRP set isn't bad. I read all the fine print and it doesn't exclude Lego, however it does exclude sale items. So as long as they aren't doing a stupid "Raise MSRP" BOGO sale or something, this coupon should be good. Many here have commented about their bad experiences ordering online from TRU, and I should have listened. But no, I had to give TRU the benefit of doubt and do an online order of some Lego sets they had on sale. Just to be clear, this is TRU in Australia. Ordered, paid for items and postage, received confirmation email, all good. A day later, received another email that items had been dispatched. Waited 4 working days, nothing. Called TRU customer service on a Friday, was told by CS lady that courier tried unsuccessfully to deliver, and items at courier depot, gave me details to ring them to arrange delivery. Hey all, My apologies if this has been addressed a hundred times before - I'm a TRU noob. I am trying to find out if TLG exclusives (modulars, Arkham Asylums, Star Wars $200-$400 sets, etc.) are carried, typically, by some or most TRU Brick and Mortar stores (not online). I stopped by my local TRU yesterday and found nuthin'. Also, does TRU.com price match, or is that only available in the physical stores? Thanks! Does anyone have a complete list of TRU brown clearance sets? Someone mentioned the 3 in 1 super pack (66475) a few days ago as Having been missed - I checked today and my TRU had 2 of them on the shelf at $129.99 each. I checked the price and they came up $26 (I bought both). I assume that there are brown clearance sets sitting in a lot of stores not marked down. If someone could put together a list it would make it easier to scope out stores.

I was planning on picking up some star wars Lego tonight and since I don't currently have the TRU cc I was going to open one tonight. my question is will I receive 15% off my purchase tonight for opening the card?

I know the 10% Thursday and Saturday promotion is done today, but i'm curious if either works on exclusives or not? For example, could i open the account get 15% AND 10% off an exclusive, or just the 15% or neither? Thanks all.

So today I decided to venture over to to the TRU National Headquarters which is located in Wayne, NJ. My mom and I have friends who work there and I live less than 10 minutes away from it. I went in and asked to see a person who I know and I also asked about Legos. Turns out they keep a bunch of TRU exclusives and various other sets there and a lot of the employees are Lego fanatics. I assume they won't let me use my 20% off coupon I have on top of that offer so I wont even try. However will they price match their website and then still let me have the $15 off $75 offer? I couldn't find the mist appropriate place to put this, but does TRU historically have set deals throughout the year? Do people know when BOGO deals happen or annual sales, etc. Or do these things appear arbitrarily?

I was scrolling through the items TRU has listed as exclusive and came across the 7939 train. Pulled it up on BL which shows that both Target and Walmart carry it (which they do), but Amazon does not. Is this simply an error by TRU? Follow up question: thoughts as the lifespan of this set since it has been around 2010?
