I got 4 Last night on line, comes to $110.00 a piece, I got 4 more at the Stores today. They didn't want to do it as in the store it does not show up as Buy one get one 40% Off. Not sure if this was posted but here goes. Went to my local TRU yesterday (Canada) to try and take advantage of there obvious mistake in an ad from there flyer. The Ad said" 25% off ALL* Lego, Star Wars and Marvel Electronics.". " * excludes LEGO dimansions, disney Infinity, movies, headphones and clearence. Selection varies." So I've had multiple orders now that were partially paid with GC's (remaining balance made up with the TRU MC) that TRU cancelled but have failed to reinstate the GC balances. Customer Non-Service gives me the same run-around about giving it 3 to 5 business days even through it has been weeks since the orders were cancelled. I'm basically making it my new policy to use a CC for 100% of any online purchase -- so I have the chargeback recourse if needed. It wouldn't be bad to suck up the losses as a cost of doing business, but based on the the number of cancellations recently, it's amounting to close to 5% of the Discounted GC savings. Well I went to the Lego Store at Annapolis Mall in Md today, got there about 10:30 so I ran across the street at the Toys R Us to see what the $25 off Lego Sale looked like, Well I was shocked check out some of these prices of these Lego sets, The Manager said all these prices were done 10 days ago. Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but I just got my TRU bill, and it says there will be 10% off in store on Saturdays when using the TRU CC, from November 7th to December 19 (similar to last year).

Any thoughts? Anyone else see these signs?

The TRU by me is doing a buy 100 dollars get 20 off... TMNT are NOT excluded... Which means that now you can buy then for the same price as at Walmart or LEGO Shop at Home :)

Toys R Us announced Wednesday that it would expand its price-match guarantee to include online retailers including Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com and BestBuy.com, among others. The aim, according to the release, "Removing any doubt before holiday shopping begins in earnest that customers are receiving the best available prices." Perhaps this means there won't be any more over MSRP!

Noticed something curious over the last few weeks of lego shopping. I always have my phone with me--to check online prices, ebay values, and of course brickpicker values. I get absolutely full signal in Walmart, Target, Kmart, Kohls, malls, pretty much everywhere...and at all of their locations I visit...save this sub forums namesake. I thought it was odd---as soon as you walk in the door, no signal--and I mean none. I was visiting a couple toysrus in other parts of the state---and another state---and same thing. As soon as you walk into toysrus and get 10-20 feet from the door---you lose complete signal. Is this a coincidence? It is illegal to block cell…

Just got my 10% back Holiday Rewards via email from TRU for purchases made between 9/8-10/31. Geez, I didn't think I bought so much stuff within that time period! Also, the email had "10% back" in quotation marks. I'm just going to assume that's bad copyediting and not TRU's funny math.

Am I the only one who has no idea what a tru receipt means? I don't know if I did well, or took it in the hoop every time I set foot in the place lately. They had series 11 2 for 5. And bogo skylanders at 40% off...and the plush for 5 after spending fitty. I have no idea what I paid for anything. I am assuming I missed out on the mini fig sale...or heard the guy wrong...didn't see a sign...but kid happened by and mentioned they were 2 for 5 so grabbed a couple.

I was planning on picking up some star wars Lego tonight and since I don't currently have the TRU cc I was going to open one tonight. my question is will I receive 15% off my purchase tonight for opening the card?
