How come a listing says one left and then once I order it it then removes the one left?

Here are the details. One Dec 12th I placed an order for (4) Lego 42030 Volvo sets. At the time the items were discounted by Amazon not a third party seller to equal 174.xx with shipping. Great price. Great buy...or so I thought. A few weeks go by and I check on my order. I get this: Undeliverable : Returned Your parcel was returned to Amazon.co.uk because the carrier could not locate the delivery address. Mind you since the beginning of 2013 I have successfully placed and received 43 orders (with minimal issues, aside of one or two messed up orders). So I sold a $180 item, FBA. Immediately on the order I see a refund of $88.32 (before the item is even shipped) (The item still hasn't even been delivered) I contacted Seller Support and they told me the item was found "defective" during shipping so they refunded the buyer $88.32 to make them happy and still shipped the item anyways. I am completely lost: 1. Why would they not cancel the order and place the item in unsellable inventory. 2. How on earth did my item get received as Sellable and then turn into "Defective" How improper does it seem to just send a known "defective" item to the customer and throw money their way before they have even r…

Hi Fellow BPErs: I am new to selling Legos on Amazon. One of the unknowns for me is regarding the return rate for legos by customers. For those seasoned sellers, can you tell me at what rate do customers return their purchased Lego sets from your experience? has anyone sold to this outfit? they include "booyah inc" in the addresses as well as some "dept #". got two orders from them, both addresses are different and a appear to be a store front in a new york/new jersey metro area. i opened an inquiry with amazon before i ship. both orders are expedited. i found a booyahchicago seller on amazon.in that appears to be a drop shipped to india from the US, however not 100% certain if they are one and the same. Any advice or past experiences with this buyer would be greatly appreciated if not also a warning to the rest of us. thanks!

Well when I add them to my Amazon account, I can often get upwards to $150 worth. Which is great. I ordered an AA a few weeks ago. Now, that set is $200 on Amazon, a good $40-50 over retail. I just noticed on Amazon that the Tumbler is listed as pre-order for release in 2015 and now only FBA sellers are shown as sellers. Has anyone seen this happen before with an already released product?

I got banned from selling on Amazon after only selling there 5 days. I have 12 sales, RI's and polybags mostly. I still have zero feedback and zero complaints. They accused me of selling counterfeit items. I have no freaking idea what made them think that. The best part is they are holding my funds for 90 days! I have been purchasing lots of Lego form amazon export sales and all of a sudden yesterday (14th august) they've stopped shipping to Australia. is anyone else on here having the same problem? from what I can gather Lego have updated policies with amazon sending Lego to anywhere besides the us. I can still purchase from other sellers through amazon but cant buy from amazon direct with all the good prices and BOGO sales anymore. what other options do I have to find cheaper Lego now? I bought the Batman Origins game from Amazon 2 days ago for $30 and just found out that newegg is selling the game for $20. I attempted to cancel the order but it said it was too late. I can't refuse the order because I most likely wouldn't be home. I guess I could return it too. I was wondering if I contacted Amazon would they honor the newegg price?

My latest Amazon order was shipped with OnTrac (a west coast service, don't know if they've expanded further yet). Amazon has been using them for all of my orders recently, and presumably a lot of other people's 2 day Prime orders. It's been working fine, until this time. Package didn't show up on time today, I called tonight, and the CS lady basically told me it'll get here when it gets here, she has no idea when that might be because the local hub is "busy" and "some people were out last week". The deal is not as great as the recent Meijer sale but might be worth considering. You will pay a bit more per set if fewer are bought. Buying too many and you up the risk of receiving crushed boxes. Hey guys, I hope to get some help from those who's a regular buyer on Amazon. I had just made multiple purchases on one set, but there's a purchasing limit of 5 similar sets per order. Does this mean thatI can order the same 5 sets again in next time, or am I not allowed to buy any more of that set? And another one; under the item name in the wish list, there's a line saying "Quantity: 3, Has: 2". Does this mean that there's a purchasing limit for this item? And does this last permanently? So I ordered two Tumblers from Amazon the other day in order to qualify for free shipping. However I just received a second shipping notice for my 2 items and investigated to see I actually paid for 2-day shipping >< I must have been in a hurry and placed the order and forgot to change to free shipping. Anyone else done this? Were you able to contact Amazon and get a refund? Its very frustrating that when your order qualifies for free shipping, that is not the default shipping option...at least not for me.

Any other FBA sellers had anything crazy happen with their inventory? Before Christmas they added 6 units of lost unexpected gathering to my account (which I never sent). About a month ago I woke up to 95 AT-TEs in my inventory..... I contacted them and explained the "issue" they removed a few and said the rest were mine however they appreciate my honesty in the regard. Today they have "software corrected" some of my inventory and removed items which I actually sent them. I'm not going to throw a fit obviously, but it seems strange. My state, Nevada, started collecting tax from Amazon this year. My Lego order from a few weeks ago had tax added. But my order for a Wi-Fi router a few days ago was not charged tax. Anybody come across this? I'm confused!

Last week I got a notice from the USPS that I had a package at the post office with postage due. The notice was to my business name, so I figured it was an Amazon order. I went back through all my Amazon records for the past 45 days and nothing turned up as not having been delivered, so I was really puzzled. I went to the post office and it was an Emma's Horse Trailer I sold on Nov. 15th. It was marked undeliverable, return to sender. I paid the $3.90 postage due, box was pretty beat up but the set inside was in perfect condition (just like I sold it!). Obviously the buyer didn't complain. The other day, Bold-Arrow posted that the Tower Bridge was available on WH, so I pulled the trigger. It arrived today. It was clearly opened.
