I wanted to know how to become a licensed seller of Lego products and get the order form some people on this site have. I've been incorporated for the last 2 years and wanted to expand to selling Legos at a retail level. Any info from people who do this is much appreciated

I have a question........Im the kind of invester who doesnt buy more than 2 or 3 of 1 set unless its dramatically reduced, so usually im buying bits of everything that i think will go up in price. Is this a good strategy?? Or should i be buying bulk amounts of 1 set? In the past month or 2 i have started buying just 2 of every set......And just sets that i like.......but i cant help but think that i should buy some sets in bulk??

I just found another very legitimate looking store that I am 99% sure is drop shipping with stolen CC's. The store is www.mechtoy.com and they seem to have a few decent deals, but too many things line up for them to be a drop shipper, every set is listed just a little below retail, every set has a fixed shipping and handling price of $10 and with a little reading, you can tell that the people who designed the site are not from the US, and the contact address is bogus. Anyway, please don't order from them as others will likely get some nasty surprises down the road on their CC's.

I could have sworn someone already asked this before but couldn't find it. Here goes anyhow. There are hundreds of sellers on Bricklink that list individual pieces from sets for sale, and it is true that not every set appreciates in value (some even devalue), so fellow Brickvestors my question is thus. Is it possible to make a profit that at least covers the original retail cost of a set by parting it out?

I have started watching ebay listings a little closer lately and I have noticed that there are some listings that are truly awful. I saw an incomplete Imperial Shuttle, only a month ago, go for just over $100. The picture was poor and the description was near non-existent. Just wondering what everyone thinks of this, I will try to find the link of the Imperial Shuttle.

I noticed that some local Meijer stores have marked the Fire Plane down to $29.99 which is 50% off. Is this a good buy? I'm just not too sure about this set. Any thoughts?

I've bought a few lots of unsorted bricks lately, and after picking out a few sets I was looking to get rid of some of them. What's the best way to make the most money with them? Better to sort by color or by type?

I was wondering if it is better to sell sets by them selves or to bundle them with other sametheme sets? For Example. I have a few Harry Potter polybags, Forbidden Forrest, Hagrid's hut and castle. At a monetary stand point. Would it be best to sell them individuality (when the time comes) or should I sell as a group. Or should I make small bundles such as a polybag, Forbidden Forrest, and Hagrid's Hut. If that makes sense.

I know that I have had my fair share of odd buying moments. The one that stands out the most is going into a Barnes & Noble a few months ago to buy a book and coming across a mass amount of Harry Potter sets. They were already sold out everywhere and were full price, but I bought every one of them. I know how a lot of people hate it when people do this, but they were at full price, and I knew my window of opportunity for these sets was closing fast. I took 6 of both Hagrid's Hut, and Hogwarts (The small one), along with an uncountable amount of Knight Buses and Quidditch Match's, and around 6 or 7 Forbidden Forests. Now this may not have looked odd in a store lik…

The title says it all, a poll to see who likes Amazon or eBay better. Once you get done voting feel free to leave a story about the online store you chose..... or the one you didn't. I personally like Amazon.

Hi, I was wondering how anyone here feels about how best to manage one's available time when it comes to finding deals on legos, or any products really, in the multitude of online or offline stores you can visit. I've noticed people here talk about major clearances people have found at their local stores, but from what I understand I'm not guaranteed to find the same great deal at my local walmart or target etc. that you did at yours while a link to a great deal on Amazon will work for virtually anyone who sees it assuming the deal is still going on. I don't really have a reason to go out to retail stores for any other reason, so there's a good chance I could go out to…

I've seen a few people say that shipping a bigger LEGO set via UPS is cheaper than USPS. But whenever I compare prices, USPS is always cheaper. What am I missing? Are people getting UPS discounts somehow?

Like most of you, I believe, I am new to LEGO investing. I have been watching pretty closely the sets I am most intrested in. Come on, we all think if we like it everyone else should too, right? I am learning that I need to think "out of the box". I have started to buy sets that I really won't enjoy building if I am stuck with, but maybe I can make a little money for myself to spend on the sets I want to build. Thank goodness I have Grandkids that Love Lego. I am intrested in anyones thoughts as to how they decide what to buy. Is it price? Is it just what you like? Do you follow ebay sales? Do you watch Amazon? Do you watch lego.com? Do you listen to what every…

So I am new to investing in Legos, and I only just remembered a few bionicles I got when i was much younger that were collecting dust up in my room. I never opened them since I was really more of a star wars guy, but now I am hoping to sell them. Unfortunately, I've never sold anything online before and I can't find any completed listings on ebay that are like what I have so I was hoping someone here could help me out. I have 3 bionicles, namely 8589, 8588, and 8592 all factory sealed in perfect condition aside from a little dust haha. They look like they might be worth something like 8-15 each, but would it be better to sell all three at the same time? And if so for a…

I have been doing ebay for a while but I have been fine tuning things as i figure out which products sell better than others, areas where I can cut costs, find a more steady supply of products, try and find ways to scale but the one thing that i have yet to figure out if %^&*ing shipping. I seem to play the gambling game with shipping...trying to find that fine line between giving the customer a good, fair price on shipping and charging enough so I don't lose $$. I found the tool below which compares the various shipping options and their prices. Rumor has it that fedex and UPS can be cheaper for larger items... http://shipgooder.com/ The prices jus…

I'm not sure if this was talked about over here, but the MMV is gone from LEGO Shop at Home across Europe and is Sold Out + Retiring Soon on LEGO Shop at Home US. Also it's not available directly from Amazon, only from 3rd party sellers. So if you don't have one and want to put this as a long, LONG, LONG investment, grab one soon. Also, most of the Holiday sets (bakery, post office, cottage) are shown as sold out on US LEGO Shop at Home. Bakery and post office are not on Europe's LEGO Shop at Home, cottage is available.

When you sell an item on eBay, it is great how you can print a label right from your "My eBay" page. You get it at a pretty good discounted rate, plus free delivery confirmation which is worth about 80 more cents. This is accomplished through the Pitney Bowes service. Does anybody know of a way to get similar deals like this without going through eBay? I prefer to keep using USPS because they have always been good to me, and I would like to do my part to help keep them in business. Thanks!
