There's nothing quite like snagging a few good deals. Not only does it save money, it allows for more investments to be made. Everyone has their good days, and the days they wish they didnt't have at all. This is the place to let it all out, wether it be in triumph or in defeat. (Hopefully triumph...) Post your "Daily Deals" below.

I'm having trouble dealing with PayPal right now and any input is much appreciated. Last August I placed an order with a local toy retailer and my PayPal balance was instantly credited for the total amount. This particular order was eventually cancelled but the payment authorization was not, which lead to a month of going back and forth with customer service and PayPal, but it finally got cancelled. The problem is that a week has gone buy and my balance is still missing those ~250

  4. So this morning I got a very official looking email from paypal using my first and last name. Said my account was limited due to suspicious activity and until I logged in and confirmed my account that it would be frozen. I of course didn't click the link and went directly to Paypal's site. Everything was normal. Now, I consider myself very internet savvy and also take internet security further than most. And this one had me going due to it being very well done and targeted specifically at me. I fear that due to the recent ebay hack this will become pretty common. so here is a heads up to be vigilant and if you receive any paypal phishing emails you can forwar…

I recently used FedEx to ship a large package. The process of dropping it off is a story in itself. In short, sneaking past a gate, going into 2 buildings where no one was working and then walking all over to find someone was quite the experience. With that said, when will I get charged for the package? I did not know when you print online it is supposedly an estimation? How do I even find out how much the total shipping will be? I do not even see any record of me printing the label in my FedEx account. The package has been picked and is on the way to the customer.

I'm curious how much people spend on a used set (that is still available in stores). How much % off retail would be considered a good price? I really want to build my Helm's Deep set but also want it for investment purposes!

  9. What are your selling experiences regarding the demand/ value/ buyers' repsonses when it comes to the question of "what kind of new" a set is? Meaning: How successful have you been in selling NEW sets whose contents you DID VERIFY by (opening and) inspecting the box contents vs. selling NEW sets that were 100 % sealed whose contents you DID NOT VERIFY? (The background of my question is the problem of not really being able to know about the condition of contents in boxes with only seals - which could have been tampered with without visual evidence; hence controlling the content yourself before selling as NEW would be the safest was to be absolutely sure.) …

  11. http://www.mrxgames.com/lego/ All signs point to drop shipping, buyers beware! Seller has products listed consistently below retail ....Check Seller has no interest in charging for shipping fees....Check Seller doesn't seem doesn't speak English as for the primary Language with which to....Check Maybe there is more to it, but those are the warning signs for me

I placed an order last night and got lucky enough to take advantage of a system glitch that provided me with free shipping. I talked with LEGO Shop at Home today to see why I could not order more with free shipping and she told me that the system thought I was ordering from a store. Lucky me! The main reason for this post is that she told me free shipping starts on the 9th, right after double VIP ends.

I recently bought the set and being an absolute completest, I like to have the "extra items" that came with the set. Can someone tell me how many "Plastic Flag 8 x 5 with White Skull and Crossed Cutlasses Pattern" parts came with the set? Did it come with 3 total?

  16. I bought this lot for 20$ at a Yard Sale and want to sell it on Ebay but I want to know what the most efficient way to sell them is. I roughly separated them by color but its not 100%. Should I separate the minifigs and sell them separately? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Edit: There are definately more than 30 minifigures

I found a store near me that as 5 of 7188 King's Carriage Ambush for $30. Some of the boxes are dinged up a bit too. Should I pounce, or pass? Thanks for any advice!

  18. Soo, I haven't seen anyone else mention this, please let me know if they have - But I stumbled into a WalMart today that had these "beauties" throughout the store: (Specifically, I am referring to the LCD tags, Kohl's/Macy's style - not the LED bars underneath. Including the Toy section. I chatted with one of the employees, and the prices and such will automatically update, so they no longer have to replace tags. Obviously, this will take some of the advantage away from us who know and share what the prices are ahead of time. No idea how it will handle Clearance items, or if they will still stick Clearance Yellow Tags on the shelf next to clearance items…

Hi all, I recently picked up 6399- Airport Shuttle at an estate sale and just ordered the last of the missing pieces this week. This is my first attempt at reselling and I could use some advice. Would you recommend trying to sell the set locally first to avoid shipping and fees or should I list it online (i.e., Bricklink, eBay, Reddit, or Brickpicker) because this is an older and more expensive? Thanks!

  20. I am working on trying to finish up a few sets for my kids for Christmas. I am missing quite a few mini figures. I would like to purchase a larger lot if possible. They do not need to be mint, they will be played with by little ones. PLMK if you have any of these for sale/trade. I don't have tons to trade, but I will trade very well to complete these sets. So.. we are virtually lockd down due to the covid-19 scare. Thus I have also some time to clean out the attic and there is some 70s and 80s lego there. So i put some up for sale, put have no idea what this realistically would be worth. So I figured I would ask if any of you can give an idea what I may expect to get for this stuff. It is generally rails and carriages. But there is also a Box of technical lego (somewehere...). I will add some fotos. Any help is much appreciated Best, Michael
