Hi everyone! Sorry if this has been posted before. I looked through previous threads but didn't find one specifically about this. I've read through the storage wars article on the main site and it was very helpful! However, I have some questions about storing in my garage. I've jumped into this lego investing stuff recently and we've got quite a bit of space taken up by legos now. My husband is getting a little concerned the legos will take over soon, so I need to find a solution. ;P We want to follow the storage wars article and purchase some home depot storage shelves, and possibly also store the legos in boxes (either 1:1 shipping boxes, or perhaps in large…

Greetings from Italy! A few years ago I found this hexagonal display case in a thrift store. Would you be so kind to help me identify the character and guess a value for this item? Thanks for your attention ☺️

Lego has finally introduced some wooden drawers...so, yep. A few sizes. They look nice at a glance. Not cheap. link to one of https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/wooden-desk-drawer-4-dark-oak-5007115

Hi all - new member here in Indianapolis, IN. I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase the Star Wars the Force Awakens lego display with the Millennium Falcon, the First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter, and the 24 minifigures, as shown in this previous thread: https://www.brickpicker.com/forums/topic/14894-toys-r-us-star-wars-the-force-awakens-display/ See the very first post (by TheOrcKing) - I did not want to copy over his images w/o permission. My goal is to sell it locally, but I could potentially ship it, which would likely be expensive. Can anyone share what may be a good price for this? I haven't seen one listed as "sold" on eBay, but…

Good evening from the UK. A got my first Lego, back in 1957 and have never been without it , although I had to have some children along the way to have an excuse to use it. I would like a bit of advice about three items of my son's, Piraka Stronghold store display, in perfect condition, with original mains powered lighting and two Bionicle store displays with battery powered lighting effects, with shelf mounts. He would like to sell them, but has no idea what they might be worth, if anything, or how desirable they might be. I have been able to find out little about them. The local toy shop knew him very well as he collected every bionicle, and offered …

Hello all, I was offered a few LEGO display case sets through a craigslist ad. Wondering if anyone can tell me what these would be worth.....would the value just be in the sets that are enclosed in the display, or is there added value for the display as a whole? Pictures are attached. For reference, the person is asking 125 for the Star Wars one and 75 each for the other 2. Are these worth a buy?

Hi, I am starting to say good-bye to my Lego collection. My prize possession is a Time Cruisers store display case with the Hypno Cruiser and Flying Time Vessel enclosed in it. Very cool. I was wondering if anyone could estimate it's value? The case is roughly 20" deep, 22" long and 12" high, give or take a couple inches. Thanks, V

This is a garage sale find from many years ago. Full of the older minifigures without arms. Quite dirty and missing the smokestacks and some damage to the smaller parts. Powered with a inline transformer. Paddles spin, but with difficulty. I found a picture of what it looked like when new. Other than that I couldn't find anything else on the web. Can anyone shed anymore light on this one. Thanks! Mike

Hi! Does anyone there have bought or have some photos of the oldest star wars display ever made? It was showed at Lego Immagination Center in Mall of America from 1999 to 2002 or so. The display was round and divided in three parts, Endor, Hoth and Tatooine. There was a nice Death Star on it, and there were the first jawas ever made and some more cool mocs.

First Forum Topic creation and probably my second ever post - may the moderators and others be kind! I'm wondering what folks are doing with their displays (I know, open, *gasp*, built, *gasp*) Lego sets. I've come across very few items in general and even fewer in the U.S. for display cases and/or stands - generally made from acrylic. The two examples that I'll put out there are from PureDisplay and LaserLabs. Does anyone have experience with these items and/or competitors - or even a different approach? If so, any thoughts? I have a few sets I'd like to build and display, but the general dust and protection factors have given me…

Not a ton of minifigures in the display but it does take that one scene from the original promo with the Millennium Falcon soaring past a couple TIE Fighters only in this case (literally) just one. New TRU SW Display Case

Curious to know how you might be displaying your mini-figs? Here's what I did with a couple of my "special" mini-figs. Black Chrome Vader and Chrome Stormtrooper. Old idea that I saw on Ebay and wanted to do them for myself. I just bought some 50-count trading card holders and printed the card backs on photo paper.

Hi guys, i am new here and want to get some opinion from you guys. I found a need to protect my lego displays since i have 2 cats at home and they like to play with my legos so i want to protect the legos by putting them in a display box like the pics below. I can custom make these boxes to any size and want to find ways to sell them but i don't have much experience with eBay. Do you think there is a market for these? The one in the below pic is W 35 cm * D 20 cm * **** 18 cm. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Looking for some type of display case to place these on top of a bookcase, similar to the acrylic ones they use at TRU. Doesn't have to be heavy duty just clear so you can see them and to protect them from dust. Anyone have any ideas or pics? Something like this but taller http://www.amazon.com/Collectors-ShowCase-Plastic-Display-Case/dp/B000Q9KPB4/ref=pd_bxgy_t_text_z

Bought a bit of lego today and instead of a discount I got a store display of lego chima. See picture below. Does anyone have a clue what they are going for? I know it is a longshot but there are many experts here. Thanks in advance.

Well I founded this set in a "display box" (not sure for the term...) This pictures show the box I saw, it's not this one but looks the same. This picture has been taken from an ebay "buy it know" but because the price is about 800 dollars I'm not sure if it's very serious. So, if was searching for nice sets (and founded some ^^) in a toy shop, and saw this beauty. The display box has some light but that's it, no music or sounds. I wasn't able to see if it has been yellowed, this set was on top of shelves 3 meters high (10 feet). The employee/seller said he isn't sure he can sell it, his boss wasn't here and he will recall me later. Wh…

With something this old how can I verify it is authentic Lego Display? Arcylic encasement, rectangular, Lego (andy worhol like dot print) paper backing. A light gray plastic/vinyl (about 1" tall) border around the bottom. When upside down you can see the bottom is constructed out of 3/4 or thicker plywood with a solid wood frame around it. To help visualize, bottom to top, solid wood frame then plywood, then blue baseplates, then model. all encased in 1/4 in acrylic plexiglass. The whole thing is huge and may weight around 40lbs. I will add photos later. Sorry I am not home to upload a pic...

Hello all, Just got a nice Friends store display from ebay for my girls. The batteries seem to be dead and I am trying to figure out how to replace them. Here is the auction link for reference. The battery compartment seems to be on the bottom with wires running up the rear to the top lid. (by the way the top lid arrived cracked, any idea where to get a replacement?) The wires disappear into the bottom so I definitely have to access the bottom interior. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm fairly mechanically minded but this thing has stumped me.

A couple of weeks ago a small toy store here in town ("here" meaning in Germany) went out of business, because their lease wasn't renewed at a bearable rate. When they had their final sales I went to pick up some Lego, part for investment, part for my collection, I stumbled across a bunch of display cases with price tags on them. Last year I had asked the boss at their head store (they belonged to a very small chain) what happened to these cases if they were replaced and he told me they (the cases) were going back to Lego and they (the store) were not allowed to sell them. Looks like this either changed (unlikely) or they didn't care anymore. Bottom line: I p…
