Hey guys! I've found a guy selling a few of his legos for about 250 cad and I was wondering if it's worth it. He's got the sets: 8961, 7743, 7287, 8077, 2260, 8078, 8864, 2263, 9446 and 6175. None of these are in boxes. He's missing the 1st instruction book for 8864 and the one for 6175. Also, he's got a broken rotating piece on 8961. is it worth it? I've used the lot calculator but the price given to me doesn't include the broken pieces and missing instructions so I thought some of you guys could help . Thanks Narkk

Hi all.. I bought a used Market Street a few weeks back off eBay. Seller described as 'used once, bought as original, great condition, no substitutions' etc.. Price was good, but catch was 'missing box, manual and minifigs/fruit'. No biggie there... Now I've come across something while organizing pieces. Some of the pieces are not consistent. Here's an example (and actually the only example I noticed thus far..) For light blue 1x8 brick (3008), there seems to be a mixture of at least two types: Solid bottom tubes, 3 cross support at the position of bottom tubes, and Solid bottom tubes, 5 cross supports at the position of bottom tubes. Looking for the head brick which could replace the yellowish white Lewis Hamilton head from my newly purchased 75883. I''m open for any suggestion, which head could eventualy replace the default head of Lewis Hamilton from this set since the original one is so inaccurate. Someone suggested me NBA heads but their faces looks amusing and won't match with the other figs from this theme/set, I have currently FInn from Takodana set but he is completely shaved and Lando Carlisiani is wearing moustaches. Does anyone know from where I can source head which might be the closest to the actual Lewis Hamilton face? Many Thanks.

Here's my dumb, newbie question. What's the fastest way to find a specific piece I need... say a silly white hinge for my passenger airplane? I'd like to buy it so my $150 plane can be complete :-)

I've got some old sets I'm prepping for sale. A couple of them include the Lego cloth material (got a couple pirate ship sails, the little tent from that Adventurers Sphinx set etc). They're well used, crinkled, dusty etc. So I've got 2 questions here... 1. What's the best way to remove the dust from this somewhat porous cloth material? Laundry? Hand wash and dry? Packing tape/lint roller? 2. Has anyone ever tried to iron this material to it's original flat state that it ships in? Is there a safer method? Thanks team!

In past years lego has had free holiday sets. Is that not happening this year?

I've noticed on a few sets on Amazon, there is an option to purchase the set with "frustration-free packaging." I'm assuming I should stay away from these if I'm looking to resell the set, but we all know what happens when you assume so I figured I would ask. What do you guys think?

Recently I bought some Lego scout troopers from 2013 I think from eBay with a seller with 100% positive feedback. But anyways inside the helmets it has numbers 2,3,4 I just want to know if this is like an old kind of trade mark or if they are fake? Appreciate any advice .

Does anyone have experience in gluing Lego pieces together? What is the best method? I know it is taboo to glue pieces but I have the need for a project. Thanks for your help.

I have 501st decals that are apply-ready and I'm deciding about getting clones. If I were to get 10 Ep. 3 clones from Bricklink, and then add them to my other 7 501st clones would that be a decent battalion?

I got one of the postings on Craig's List. The one we always dream about. A young lady offered to sell her duplo: 10515 princess Ariel http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/set.cfm?set=10515-1 for just $10. I bought it. Factory sealed. It's amazing. I asked her where she got it. She said she thinks Amazon. I checked Amazon, $80+. I kind of feel bad for the girl. But it I have two questions, that kind of go together. Why is this set so valuable? It's Duplo! And should I hold on, or flip it? The questions go together because i don't understand why it's so expensive, and since I dont understand I fear it's a bubbl…

We are tearing the back of the house off so that I can build a big lego city in a new basement... (my wife will tell you we are doing it to add a family room and a laundry...) Anyhoo, I have to move and store for 3-4 months, built sets, modulars, mechs, etc. I was thinking about buying 12"x12"x18" boxes and stashing them in there, expecting some rebuilding to need to happen. Does anyone else have a suggestion?

Need help on identifying the differences b/w these two green goblin. The one with gold eye and the another without. Is there any other different point beside the eyes? OK. Just getting back into LEGO. If this has been asked recently I will take my beating then move on :-) Are all new parts being produced now the Bluish variety of grey or are both bluish and regular grey being produced? Sometimes I look at my grey parts and say :This is blue grey?" Thank you

Just curious to see if anyone has come across something like this. I picked it up at San Diego Comic-Con a couple of years ago. I was fortunate enough to have it authenticated by a LEGO designer that was at the show. He said that it most likely was produced for a private function. It definitely is not an employee give away. He said that they do not go through the expense of printing colored packaging. Curious to know if anyone else has a similar item or has any information regarding this little fella. Much Thx!

ok, i mentioned it on here when the news broke about the re-release or the saturn v & ship in a bottle. have lego broken advertising laws by misleading the consumer? they have advertised a set as retiring soon, then retired only to re release it within a year?
