I'm looking for guidance / lessons learned on building a vertical lift roller coaster like Mark & Boone did on Lego Masters. Mark does mention it "waits three seconds and then..." so I assume some logic has to be in there? I don't have Mindstorms or PoweredUp right now, but do have Power Functions and Qty 132 of the technic chain link... would Mindstorms or PoweredUp be required to accomplish the vertical lift? If so, that might answer most of my questions. If anyone has attempted this type of project and has any lessons learned I'd appreciate it!

I came across an ARF shadow trooper polybag in my collection that has a duplicate head in the bag. It has never been opened. I was wondering if this was a common thing for a polybag and if it would impact the value in anyway. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks

The used Mini Modulars set I bought on eBay came with some yellowed white pieces, which happens and are easily replaced. What I found curious is over 100 of the Light Bluish Gray pieces had color variations (Light Bluish Gray vs. Light Bluish/a Brownish Hue Gray). I feel this may be normal, but probably not within a set itself. I do not think the seller did anything wrong and that is the way the set came. I ordered replacements for the Light Bluish/a Brownish Hue Gray pieces on BrickLink and three of those had the color variations too. What I am wondering, how many of you have experienced this when buying and the assembling a new set?

I just picked this up and am facing a bit of a dilemma. Do I open it or leave it sealed?? Any idea of value open vs sealed? I believe they are the 1999 Shell promo vehicle sets (6 small vehicles in the set). Guy said there are 6 complete sets in it. He also gave me a full set that he took out of a different box. Not sure if I am going to sell them or not but can't find anything online similar to get a rough value. Any info is much appreciated.

After the holidays are over, I’m curious do you leave your holiday sets together or take them apart to build again the following year?

I'm not talking minifigures at @1.99 but regular-sized sets at $20-$30 or more a pop. If you order the limit of 99 are you on the ban list or do they ship them out without batting an eye? Thanks.

Hello People. New to the forum but happy to find it. I've have a number of LEGO items that were given to me at least 20 years ago by a manager of LEGO in Enfield CT. They have for the most part sitting in a closet never opened. One in particular I have not been able to find any info on. A LEGO Master Watch from 1997. What is the value and why haven't I been able to find anything about it? Any help would be appreciated. I attached some pics. Thank you in advance. j12

Has anyone had issues with the Brick Picker app not providing push notifications? Now that we have all of the Christmas sales, I really hope this gets turned back on, unless it's an issue with my account. It simply stopped working one day. No trouble shooting has helped.

I know LEGO Shop at Home received a new update, but is anyone else having issues logging into their V.I.P Loyalty Program? When I sign in to the reward centre, it just pushes me back to the sign in page. Also, my wishlist has totally disappeared. I called customer service last weekend and they said it will be fixed in a few days. Just curious to see how many people are still experiencing similar problems.

Hello their, I`m new at this Forum, also at Investing in Lego. so I bought 2 Sets for the start, but I don´t know how to see if its original and for what the codes on the tape stands for. Also I got a damaged packing, does this reduce the value of the set? https://www.imagebanana.com/s/1484/bk0zNi2I.html https://www.imagebanana.com/s/1484/ZA6cdVJU.html https://www.imagebanana.com/s/1484/Gk6FSHjh.html

What is the easiest quickest way to determine the footprint of an existing set for city-planning purposes? I want to create an amusement park (Disney Castle, Roller Coaster, Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Pirate Roller Coaster, etc.), but several of the sets I do not yet own. My best method at this time would simply be to look at pictures or downloaded instruction manuals try to count/guess. I'd like to determine the 'page break' of my amusement park boundaries to see if/when I'd need a second table. Or if I have enough room in my basement for the 'vision'.

This lego pirate is larger than a minifigure (included in the pic below for comparison), but it is lego. Does anybody recognize this? If so, from which set? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

Hi all, I'm pretty new here and also revisiting lego (as my son is now of an age that has rekindled one of my childhood joys), so please be gentle. I'm over in NY working next week, and had been looking on the US lego website to see if there was anything that was available in the US and not in Europe. As an example 41627 (Luke Brickheadz) seems to still be available, yet is discontinued in the UK. Are there any recommendations on (smalls I have to get them home), items that I should be looking out for? And any goods stores to recommend visiting in NY ? TIA

I have this old LEGO set that I was given and I have put is away as I don't want it damaged. However the pictures that I find have two very different images for the same item. I have been trying to find out a average value for this set. Mine is the very plain one with two figures and the snack bar sign. Unfortunately as I was quite young I no longer have the instructions or box for this model. The other model has two bikes, a coke machine and three figures. Plus it comes with extra base plates. Is the difference in the sets due to it being purchased in either Australia or UK? Hope someone can help? Thanks

So before Christmas someone sent me a link to a Facebook ad for Harry Potter LEGO on sale. I followed the link and it looked legit, so I took a chance against my better judgement and ordered what I thought was going to be 75954: Hogwarts Great Hall, and 71043: Hogwarts Castle. After not receiving my order (or getting any communication from the vendor) for over a month, I filed a claim with my bank. In the time it took them to process the claim I received the order... shipped directly from China. We all know what that means: bogus bricks... So, I tried to contact the seller, but the website was gone and the phone number disconnected. I fell for their scam (hence the "stupi…
