No official names known but we can see there will be another wave on the way. I hope one of these will include some villagers and perhaps a couple more of the critters from the game like a Slime or Wither Skeleton or even The Wither. We now have something of 'official' names according to this source. I hope the Iron Golem will include at least a couple Villagers and there will be a Wither Skeleton to go with The Wither. 21123 - The Iron Golem = 19.99 €21124 - The End Portal = 59.99 €21125 - The Jungle Tree House21126 - The Wither = 34.99 €

Have they decided to no longer produce any Micro World sets for Minecraft? While expensive for the size, I thought they were much better display pieces and collectibles, and even designs than what we're seeing with the regular sets. Anyone hear any news?

With a suggested retail of $59.99 featuring two skeletons (one with iron armor), Steve again, Alex, and the new Wolf, here is the second largest set for this upcoming wave of Minecraft. This one seems to offer an equal amount of bricks for the surroundings and habitat to house the player characters. Once again the display model is lacking the final details the box shows. Too expensive just as an army builder for the Skeletons but if you are also looking to amass pieces to create a desert wasteland this could be decent.

I was going to save this for another day but it got brought up in a different topic so here goes with the largest set for the second wave of Minecraft, The Nether Fortress. It will retail for $79.99 and include a Zombie Pigman, Steve donning his Platinum Armor again after The Ender Dragon debacle, somebody other than Steve thankfully with Alex, a Blaze, and a Ghast. Now I'm not sure why on the display model there were so many 'blank' bricks with what I assume is some sort of part number LEGO uses internally or maybe a date like the Ghast seems to have across its 'face' with Dec. 68(?). Very strange but then again so is the whole theme. Haha. In any case what is on the …

I might as well get this last one out of the way while here. Going for $34.99 is a set which will include a Creeper, a brick-built Snow Golem making a return of the prior pumpkin head in an earlier set, and (wait for it....) another Steve! I believe this is the first set to include the latest stud shooters in reddish brown if you have fun with those like me now that I had a chance to fire one. Ha. It appears to have a nice handful of 2x2 translucent blocks in green and blue (not sure which shade) plus plenty of white for some alpine. I think the crafting box pieces are included too but you can't see that really. For what you get simply going by price-per-piece, it is dece…

The Brick Fan just posted that Hungarian site, Kockamania, has reported two more Minecraft sets will be designed and released in the future. To clarify, this is not another production run but two newly designed sets which will complement the original one as extenstions. Here's the article on The Brick Fan. Considering how bare bones simple the original Minecraft set was, I wonder how exactly could they offer something different than before?

Looking up some art the other day to find an inspired work eventually led me to this massive monster from Japanese mythology and history called Yamata no Orochi which translates simply as "8-branched giant snake" recreated in the world of Minecraft. Check it out.

Hi All, I am looking at the next investment options and looks like this set is a sure fire short term winner. Lego LEGO Shop at Home UK are indicating next shipment date of 23rd Nov! Was at B&****** yesterday for round two of purchasing. Both stores I went to had this set - marked at $34.95. Since it is not considered an "educational" toy (like the Architecture series), it does not qualify for the BOGO 50. However, if you are a member you can still get them for 10% off. I was very surprised to see them there. Market is getting flooded with this set....

The Lego minecraft set that made it past the Cuusoo review is coming out in the summer. What I was wondering is, is it worth investing in. I' ve been looking around and found that a lot of people said that they are turned off by how small the set is. But I also found that people are saying that they would buy it for the pieces. So i'm kind of torn. Will this set go up in value as being unique or will the fact that it's so small drop the value of the set.
