  2. 🎉 Happy New Year — BrickPicker v2.0 is officially underway (Coming soon 2026) Happy New Year, everyone! I wanted to kick off 2026 by sharing something I’ve been quietly working toward for a while: BrickPicker is coming back — bigger, better, and built around a new vision. The last few years have been busy with life, but that time also gave me room to step back and rethink what BrickPicker should be… and what would truly make it a no-brainer tool for LEGO resellers. 🚀 The new focus: reseller-first, analytics-firstBrickPicker v2.0 is being rebuilt with one clear goal: Help LEGO resellers make smarter buying and selling decisions. That means the site will be centered around: Deep analytics on current / active sets Tools that help resellers help other resellers A more “stock-style” experience (signals, trends, movers, volume, etc.) More than just a price guide — the kind of data that supports real decisions 📊 300+ data points per set (seriously)One of the biggest upgrades is the data model itself. BrickPicker v2.0 is being designed to provide 300+ data points per set — the kind of market intelligence that helps you answer questions like: Is this set actually moving, or just sitting? Is demand rising or fading over the last 30/90/180 days? Is this trending toward retirement risk? Is this a good buy right now at a certain price? What’s the real spread and profit potential after fees/shipping? This isn’t just “price history” — it’s decision-grade analytics. 🧱 Massive update: Brickfolio is getting a major upgradeA big part of BrickPicker v2.0 is a complete refresh of the Brickfolio experience — built for resellers who want to track inventory like a portfolio. The goal is for Brickfolio to feel more like a LEGO stock dashboard for your inventory: Track performance over time Understand wins/losses and trends at a glance Inventory insights that help you decide what to buy more of, what to stop buying, and what to move (Details coming soon — this is one of the areas I’m most excited about.) What to expect in this forumThis thread (and this forum section) will be the home for BrickPicker v2.0 updates. I’ll start posting: Feature previews Screenshots Data points and dashboards I’m building Beta plans + rollout notes Feedback threads (because I want this shaped by real resellers) Thanks for being part of BrickPicker — I’m excited to bring it back the right way. More updates soon. Jeff Mack
  3. Game Boy, let’s just say that if someone built this as their first Lego set every other Lego set would be a disappointment, it’s that good. Not comparing it to a huge display set like Rivendell but the build and parts usage are amazing.
  4. WOOT DEAL! It won't last long! 40743 Christmas Table Decoration reg $39.99 sale $10.99 Limit 15 6-month partout is $55 https://home.woot.com/offers/lego-christmas-table-decoration-building-toy?cjdata=MXxOfDB8WX
  5. Hey friends, It is that time again! We are extending our usual discount to Brickpicker users with the code "29-Brickpicker" for 10% of all collectible minifigures in the series. Box (of 36) - $158.84 (with code) Set (of 12) - $56.69 (with code) Shipping begins May 1st! US Product. Happy Building! Jon P.S. This is not my usual account... yes. I don't know how but I lost access to the old one.
  6. Finished up the Enterprise-D a few weeks ago. It was a rather enjoyable build, and even the inherent repetition (due to the symmetry of the ship) wasn't particularly bothersome. The mechanism to remove the saucer section works well, and the minifigures are great. While the presence of stickers is always disappointing in a set like this, there are also several printed elements beyond the ballyhooed deflector array. (As I write this, I am reminded that I need to contact Lego for the corrected sticker sheet) Overall, this is an outstanding display piece and it gives me hope for the future of the line. Speaking of which, I can't imagine they'll do another Enterprise too soon, so I'm guessing the next ship will be Voyager...but I can't imagine a UCS Borg Cube is too far away either. Just one picture for now. Sorry for the mess...
  7. Wrapped up this one today. Such a great set and perfect addition to my Pirates collection.
  8. I ended up just initiating a refund and that basically worked the same as cancelling and everything seems to be sorted out. So the guy that did this ended up doing it again to me on a different set. I did not ship the second set before the cancellation request came in so I was able to cancel after the fruitcake finally made up his mind. The first two images are from the first transaction the third image is from the second. I knew the guy was a little antsy so I didn't cancel immediately, I should have let it go all night to see how many messages he would have sent. I added him to my blocked list after I set the last message. Second transaction, he submitted a cancellation request and then sent this message.
  9. As a lifelong fan of Gremlins/Gizmo back as a child from the 80's i love this set Ideas: 21361 Gremlins Gizmo (Source: Official Images)
  10. Motorized Lighthouse. Great build!
  11. Looks like I am over this whole LEGO is better than gold thing. When I see a collection of dioramas marked as UCS, all I can say is "meh"
  12. BLDP Harbormaster's Office. Went together very smooth; better than most BLDP sets. Will be a nice companion to the Ideas Old Fishing Store.
  13. I've been picking away at this over the past couple of weeks. No rush, just enjoying the build. Now I have to find a place to display/store it! Overall a great build, highly recommended.
  14. Thieves of Tortuga! Best BLD set I have built so far, but still have a few good ones to go, Harbor Master and Transylvania Castle both are supposed to be great. The PDF instructions were good just some color differentiation struggles with some of the roofs and plants. The build was awesome with some really good new techniques, however there is some instability with the roofs, but overall the build was fun and fast with 51 numbered bags and lots of extra large elements, and only a few stickers. There is some great detail in the rooms you can access from the rear of the set including a shrine to Red Beard, a Fortune teller, a vault loaded with gold bars and coins, and Captains Quarters with a micro Black Seas Barracuda and telescope. 13 Minifigures with 2 Royal Guards in Sand Green. The Play could be endless! For the price Lego really needs to include printed instructions. Build 9 Display 9 Play 8 Value 7 This is a top 10 set and if you can grab one during the 30 second last chance event for Round 5 I highly recommend it, not to mention the cost is up to $500 on eBay.
  15. Over the course of the next few weeks, you may see some downtime on the forum as I start to set the site up for it's new updates. The forum will no longer be at the root, it will most likely go back to being forum.brickpicker.com. I will also be pushing the new information website at brickpicker.com which will start to show some of the new features and overviews on how the site will change. While these two areas are getting settled in, I will also be moving the new app into the production environment and testing. Mobile apps will follow post launch. I am not sure how long it takes for apps to be approved by Apple or Goggle right now, so I would expect the mobile apps to go live 2-4 weeks post launch. Two feature of the site are quite mobile focuses, so they will not be available until the apps are available in the app stores.
  16. Excess BrickLink Designer Program (BDP) sets from Series 3 and 4 go on sale next week on January 21st, 2026, at 2PM EST / 11AM PST
  17. @airhanny We appreciate your posts but if you will look for the number that looks like this in your url, and cut everything past it, not only will your urls look cleaner but it will also strip away most tracking info. becomes https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-City-Garage-Mercedes-AMG-Alpine/dp/B0DJ1CC7YZ which works as well.
  18. This is going to be so hard resisting all these deals the next couple months. It's ingrained in me. Then I just need to go through all my stranded inventory, no-buy box listings and suppressed, and read through the constant threats to end me, to strengthen my resolve.
  19. Mail call today. All for my personal collection.
  20. Looks like it’s going to be a good day tomorrow, looking forward to finally getting this at a deep discount.

New Feature Castle Battle Packs. You can edit the bundle order to change faces, weapons and other elements.
  22. I will say the art on the side of the box here is absolutely f**king awesome. Seriously, damn. Frame that and put it on the wall.
  23. I did not hold any expectations aside from being large. It is neat for a possibly wall mounted collection of dioramas ....that we kind of already have from over the years individually. This is the sort of build I might expect to see at a Brickfair as a habitat showcasing all the well-known scenes of the Death Star within the homage of one. I wonder what the backside looks like. Also, where is the hot tub at? Haha. At least it is different from the previous iterations ....while simultaneously doing the same thing. I am certainly not the market for this (and still a cheap ass penny pinching son of a brick). It's okay, just not for me.

  25. I had been planning on doing this but work schedule always got in the way of show dates. Set up wasnt bad. Pulling and pricing the sets took forever. I just pulled and packed boxes like I was shipping in to Amazon-. A few things I noticed at my show..... The 5 for $20 polybags sold really well and did even better when I put out the bins of my extra polybags and just let people big through the bins. Ninjago is still hot. Sold whatever polybags , small sers and TRU fig packs I had. Sold very little Star Wars or Super Hero sets. I thought about bringing displays and selling individual minifigs but didnt have the time to price and set them up. Most loose figs I have are on my Bricklink store and didnt want to mess with rhat just for the show.
  26. Max needs to take a hike. Definitely should be a separate thread.

  30. Saw this hilarious post on FB today: RETIRED HUSBAND After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Target. Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women - she loves to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Target: Dear Mrs. Harris, Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras: 1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other people's carts when they weren't looking. 2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals. 3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom. 4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, 'Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away'. This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance, causing management to lose time and costing the company money. 5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway. 6. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area. 7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the children shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department to which twenty children obliged. 8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, 'Why can't you people just leave me alone?' EMTs were called. 9.. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose. 10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were. 11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the ' Mission Impossible' theme. 12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his 'Madonna look' by using different sizes of funnels. 13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled 'PICK ME! PICK ME!' 14. October 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed 'OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!' And last, but not least: 15. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, then yelled very loudly, 'Hey! There's no toilet paper in here.' One of the clerks passed out.
  31. Disney Promo: 40774 Classic Animation Scenes gift-with-purchase, currently said to be a $130 threshold on all themes starting late October. (via a Brick Tap source)
  32. That's fine. Opinions vary. It represents what is fun about Lego that is lost on the SW fanbois and resellers. By far the best Star Wars set of the year and it will be a fun decoration next to my UCS AT-AT.
  33. I have both UCS Falcons, both UCS Star Destroyers and the UCS AT-AT built and on display, and yet even though the new Death Star is generally bigger than any of them, it just feels....underwhelming? It's big, but it's empty. Its a display piece, but it's boring. Take the dioramas for the Emperor's Throne Room, the Garbage Compactor and Darth Vader's Meditation chamber, stick them in a generic wall frame and slap in a few basic sets (Death Star Cannon, Death Star Escape, Detention Block Escape) and you essentially get the same thing. There is no engineering wow like the AT-AT. No detail and shine like the Falcon. Not even the big cheese wedgeness of the Star Destroyer. It just looks like a circular frame for smaller sets. Maybe if they had done something like the Batcave Shadow Box and had a spherical front that swung open dollhouse style to see the interior. Or something crazy like a spherical front that hinged open in both directions to have an interior with the sphere halves on each side. Something that shows pushing design to the limits (like the AT-AT) to make it look impressive inside and out. Something to justify the hype and the price... But they didn't. It's just lame, lazy, boring and overpriced, which describes too much of Lego SW these days. I'm happily looking forward to buying the Venator over this. And fortunately, just like the Venator, they gave us the laziest, most underwhelming GWP possible for such an expensive set, ensuring there is no FOMO to drive an early sale. Harry Potter sets get more figures and better GWPs every single time they drop a big set. I don't know why Lego is so clueless in comparison....
  34. Hmm, a $1000 msrp set that requires MOC to make it epic. Probably not the publicity LEGO would want.. 🤣
  35. Long weekend project. Great set, despite just being a box.

It is busy but that room was crazy packed with candy/sweets goodness! I think the set actually looks good and captures that scene very well.

  42. I'm really worried that they are just saying f- it, let's see how much these rubes will pay. I've got 15 $200+ sets on my wishlist all waiting for some kind of 20%+ sale as they are all $30-$100 overpriced (IMHO). This set at $430 feels $80 - $100 overpriced.
  43. I knocked these builds out over the last two days...initially started building the Icons Lighthouse, but the motor was DOA and waiting for a replacement to be delivered by Lego. I hope they make more of these dino scull fossils.
  44. Death Star, Enterprise and Black Pearl coming soon
