  1. I am also stoked about the sets I ordered (Castle, train shed, western store) especially with the release of the medieval town square. I've wanted the 09' Market village but have been reluctant to buy after hearing it was known for some brittle parts. I Also Built that ADP Saloon and definitely had the bright lamps out for those pesky Brown shades on that manual. But at least It had an actual manual.

  2. I'm very excited for the Caste / Fortress for personal build. If you bought for investment I think that one will do quite well, lots of interest from us rabid castle fans for this one. I also ordered the General Store. I have the Saloon from the first program and think the two should look really good together, though admittedly I only built half of the Saloon before setting it aside due to the frustration of differentiating the browns and dark browns in the instructions. So the Store will go to the "one day..." pile. As discussed, when even the reviewers were pitching this as an investment, you are going to get plenty of people who don't usually "invest" in LEGO jumping in on this to make money off of it. It will be interesting to see if LEGO has a response to the rage. I didn't have a lot of time to spend refreshing this morning, so huge thanks to the post with the links!!!!

  4. I remember having a late night food cart parked just outside our College campus, called Moon Doggies. damn, that place was such a hit after a night out drinking. Menu was insane. The loaded tater tots, cheesy fries and double cheese burger explosion were the most popular menu items. Unfortunately, they got shut down after one employee was caught giving out free food in exchange for ladies under garmets. He had quite the collection upon being discovered. 😆

  9. When I first saw it I thought it must be a fire station from Columbus, Indiana (The town is notable for it's modern and post-modern architecture in public buildings)

  10. Maybe if I get this one, I will actuallly build the Lions Castle😋 I don’t mind the blank interior and thought the queens tower is pretty cool. It is a big difference when you look at them next to each other. Speaking side by side, this shot is 😍🏰🔥 😲😬

  13. I had this happen with HP Knight Bus. Sold a bunch in a week and I've gotten unauthorized charge reports on at least half of them. I don't pay too much mind as I never lose money on these. So odd though.

  14. A little update: The instant cancellations (cancelled and relisted before I even knew the order existed and was never notified -- but a different item number) only happened for a couple days on a couple of items as far as I can tell. However, it's clearly part of a drop shipping scam with stolen credit cards. My relistings kept selling (they were targeting two sets in particular, but it looks like about four different sets were used so far). Always to someone with no previous feedback, usually an account created in October 2022, and with a username like abcdef_12. They must have created a ton of burner accounts back then and have been waiting for them to age to create less suspicion. Now the payment disputes are rolling in (three just today) and ebay is eating the costs because of seller protections. The past 36 hours have been quiet -- maybe ebay caught on, or incrementally raising the prices of the sets (I figure I'd let ebay pay for their piss poor fraud screening) finally turned them off.
