Had to sign out and then add sets to the cart for the GWPs to add. Sign back in and it is still there. Got the GWPs 2XVIP and 7% Honey Now need to do 2 more orders.

Thanks. That finally worked. So the pirate ship is _not_ a VIP reward, and will only add to cart if user doesn't have VIP status. That's a new level of fail.

Geez, it's been a while since I've been on here, one of the last topics I remember debating was trying to convince someone that the recently retired LOTR sets were a good investment. He was mad that they hadn't gone up. I sold off all my Lego for days in the sun and I would be sitting on a fortune now, I had 13 Jabba 9516's alone, got them for £67 quick too, you can't even buy leia now for that. I don't invest anymore, havent got the room but i do buy and sell on ebay, picked up a nice couple of used lots recently with classic space and castle and one with train, trebling my money and it's great fun when you can build up the vintage sets. Anyway I'm here because I see a Batman Polybag selling pre-order on ebay and I was wondering if anyone knew where the fig is coming from, I'm sure you guys would have seen it, I searched the forum but could'nt find a discussion on it. Thanks if anyone can help.

wash your hands before building...it is after all ...a sacred art. Respect the build dammit! order an extra set of stickers (or Sails or similar unique non-brick pieces) from BL for the really special sets. If the white pieces ever yellow then the stickers are toast especially if you want to do the H2O2 trick. I would keep the box (broken down ofc.) no matter what the condition as when flat it's takes up so little space (and can keep the manual in a ziplock bad inside the folded box together)...and gives your Used set one more thing to support authenticity. I find that reverse building and putting the pieces back into their original numbered bags (not the original actual bags...that's just being anal) does get more buyer attention albeit a real PITA but maybe some folks like the process as well. The best tip i ever got on storing/selling used sets was to store the loose set in USPS priority Large box (one with the sealed ends) w/ its manual. I seal it and note the level of completeness. I usually print a picture of the set and tape it to the sides. Highly efficient and ready to sell/ship (altho this approach assume no original box). I think the buyers for high end used sets are going to be more authentic and realistic. Less scammers in general (if I am going by my anecdotal past experiences). They tend to ask more questions (good thing). be ready tosend pictures and ofc close ups of the MFs showing proof of authenticity...most know that the MFs drive the drive so missing some small common pieces is almost expected. Also if you plan to take apart...wait (if you can) to get a buyer first as they may request it shipped mostly built.

Finally got to “finish” this set 3 months later. I still have to do the rest of the Minifigures, weapons and stickers plus tune up some alignment of elements. I new something was off when I built the first section and broke it down partially and rebuilt it but it does not align securely so will have to look into that some more. Also those steeple elements are torqued and don’t align properly. The end of the build was by far the least enjoyable, the trees and the council chairs were way worse than the roof tiles. I think the chairs could have had a more simple build and looked better. I was only missing one piece a sand green plate used on the roof but I borrowed one from a tree and it is not noticeable until the replacement comes in. Overall a great build with some new advanced techniques, awesome elements, and great color scheme. The light aqua cupcakes with the new white plant stem and white dinosaur tails look amazing, Gimli’s Helmet printing! The absolute lowest rating I can go would be 8.5 out of 10 but for me 9.5 and a top 10 build and Display set for sure.
