Let's encourage people to post deals. Crapping on people because you didn't like the deal they posted or how they posted it just discourages people from posting deals. Maybe you don't think it's a great deal. Maybe you don't like the campy style in which it was posted. Just ignore it.16 points

Sorry if my sarcasm was missed. I have no problem with retailers charging whatever they can. I think it's ironic that someone who takes advantage of retailers in every way possible would have a problem with it.5 points
-
Come on, stock manipulation, clearance returns, etc. are all perfectly acceptable ways to conduct business, but there's a line in the sand when someone wants to charge above retail for a set while in production.5 points

It's actually a Devries retail jewelry display case. Pretty hard to come by, as just like the LEGO displays they are supposed to be destroyed or returned when no longer needed. I must have trolled craigslist for 6 months plus before this one popped up at a descent price. Here is an earlier picture of the whole case when I first got it. Its about 22" inches square for size reference.4 points

Every pic should prelude with, "This is not a joke". If any topic deserves to be deleted, it's this one.4 points

Just some of my sales for the past couple of weeks on FBA. I picked a wide variety of sets this past year and I did well. My goal for the coming year is to liquidate most of my exclusive purchases except for Red 5, which I think will do well in the long, long run. 6x 75920-1: RAPTOR ESCAPE - $145 ($38 buy in) 2x 70171-1: ULTRASONIC SHOWDOWN - $58 ($14 buy in) 70173-1: ULTRA AGENTS OCEAN HQ - $185 ($67 buy in) 75054-1: AT-AT - $345 ($83 buy in) 4x 75055-1: IMPERIAL STAR DESTROYER - $235 ($91 buy in) 2x 60058-1: SUV WITH WATERCRAFT - $49 ($11 buy in) 2x 60075-1: EXCAVATOR AND TRUCK - $70 ($27 buy in) 6x 60081-1: PICKUP TOW TRUCK - $40 ($11 buy in) 7x 42032-1: COMPACT TRACKED LOADER - $39 ($9 buy in) 3x 70755-1: JUNGLE RAIDER - $26 ($9 buy in) 11x 71311-1: KOPAKA AND MELUM - UNITY SET - $43 ($11 buy in) 6x 71309-1: ONUA UNITER OF EARTH - $42 ($10 buy in) 31032-1: RED CREATURES - $28 ($6 buy in) 6x 60050-1: TRAIN STATION $99 ($37 buy in) 2x 60026-1: TOWN SQUARE $230 ($89 buy in) 2x 75030-1: MILLENNIUM FALCON - $39 ($9 buy in) 2x 75038-1: JEDI INTERCEPTOR - $68 ($17 buy in) 6x 75040-1: GENERAL GRIEVOUS' WHEEL BIKE - $60 ($20 buy in)4 points

I believe they're individually numbered to 99 sets worldwide. I'm lining up now. Bad news is not every LEGO store will even receive one and you won't know until the store opens on January 1 so I might be wasting the next week and a half for nothing. Please note: The above is inaccurate as the set is not numbered or known to be limited in any way.3 points

I have no problem with TRU's pricing practices. They're just silly. My line in the sand, that they have crossed, spray painted over, and built their fulfillment center in Groveport, OH on top of, is PUT IN THE DAMN BOX THE ITEMS YOUR CUSTOMER ORDERED. Nothing less, nothing more. Oh, and when you inevitably fail at that, ANSWER THE PHONE. This is a busy season for everyone. But walmart.com answers the phone in under 5 minutes, target.com doesn't have to answer it at all since they never screw up, and... TRU answers the phone only when the customer calling has reached the maximum possible non-lethal blood pressure level.2 points
