No, the universe hasn't expanded but we still don't have numerous items from 1-6 while getting retreads shoved down our throat. Where's the Bantha? Numerous figures yet to be made. Heck even stuff from Geonosis Arena from that horrendous Ep. 2. (It's not all horrendous, but Hayden Christensen is. just. awful.) I don't mind when we get a remake from something 6/8/10 years ago, but to get a landspeeder a couple months after the last one left the shelves is weak. The claim has been granted and the buyer was issued a refund. But the silver lining is that Amazon said there is no reason to believe that I am responsible for this claim. They have issued a refund but will not debit my account for the refund. Please consider this transaction closed. I am convinced that this came down to the paint cans from the Home Depot in the buyers neighborhood, and perhaps my long history as an Amazon buyer of Lego. I would like to write a blog article about this (unless everyone is sick of hearing about it) detailing what happened and what we all can learn from this. While it appears to have worked out for me, it clearly could have gone the other way, and has for other members here. There is a huge lesson here, and I wold like to share it with all so that they can avoid the stress and possible big loss I was facing. I will only be selling expensive items on Amazon FBA from now on, if at all. In my 16 plus years selling on eBay I have not once had such an experience.

Same here. I guess seasonal workers don't have to pass the math skills test before filling a position at their warehouse. On top of that the replacement they sent me for the missing item was clearly a return with scotch tape over the seals. Ugh!

The saddest part is that most of us bought our stock under the assumption that discounts on exclusives would be far and few between. Now anyone can swoop in when the retiring soon flag pops up on a set and get a better buy in and free holiday promos. It's just another nail in the coffin on investing in Lego exclusives.

Yes it isnt good to make up stuff or lie, however if people buy a set just because a certain member says so and havent done their own research, then frankly thats on them, you should never invest in something just becuase some random guy on the internet said so.

Yeah, that's a personal decision really. Depends on how many packages you ship and your risk tolerance. I've only had one package lost or misplaced so far (100s shipped) and that was marked as delivered but (allegedly) stolen before customer received it. High price items I always get it, mostly for piece of mind.

I'm in Nashville Tennessee for a vacation with my wife and kids this week. Stopped at a little museum/memorabilia collection of the 1980's show Dukes of Hazard. I use to watch it as a kid, although all I really remember from it is the car and how the guys always entered it by jumping through the windows. So as I was looking at all the stuff, I spotted two Lego items. A model of the car, and a large mosaic of Daisy Duke.
